Module 3 Robots
Unit 1 Robots will do everything.
教学目标：
1. 基本能够听懂，会说，会读词汇：robot, one day, everything, housework, learn, our等新单词。

2. 学会用“Will they…? Yes, they will./ No, they won’t.”以及“I can walk / talk.”的语言结构。

3. 能够听懂会说本模块句型，能灵活运用功能句谈论将来的行为，培养学生的想象能力。

4. 在积极参与教学活动及小组合作中激发学生兴趣，体会到学习的快乐。

教学重难点：
能够灵活运用“Will they…?”以及回答“Yes, they will.”“No, they won’t.”来谈论将来发生的事情。

教学过程：
（一）Warming up.

’s chant.
通过I say you do，I do you say复习动词词组，为本节教学动词将来时做铺垫。

（二）Presentation.
1.图片展现，教授新词
图片展示师问what are they doing?引出They are learning，they are doing the housework教授learn，housework.同时对比homework，区分相似单词。

2.设置情景，引入话题
T：It’s boring for us to do the housework every day, who can help us? Maybe it can help us.
出示学生喜欢的机器人大黄蜂引出机器人，并教授其复数形式。

让学生看《变形金刚》片段，问学生what can the first robot (Optimus Prime 擎天柱) do?引导学生说It can walk, and it can talk.然后引出Daming has got a robot, what can Daming’s robot do? Let’s have a look. Today we’ll learn Module 5 Robots Unit 1 Robots will do everything.
3.设置问题，熟悉课文(text learning)
Please turn to page 14, listen to the tape, after listening, tell me what can Daming’s robot do.
【设计意图】本环节主要是帮助学生理解对话大意，呈现重点知识。

学生带着问题听录音，寻找答案的过程就是理解课文和呈现重点的过程。

Listen to the tape again, after listening, fill in the blanks.
•What will robots do one day?
•One day, robots ( )do everything.
•Will they do the ( )?
•Yes, they will.
•They will help children ( )
•Will they do our ( ) ?
•No, they ( ).
Let’s read after the tape. Try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation. Read the text in roles.
【设计意图】充足的机械操练帮助学生熟悉文本，使新授语言材料更容易上口。

小组分角色表演，不但熟悉了文本，更激发学生的积极性。

（三）Practise.
1.咏唱chant，巩固课文
•Will they do the housework?
•Yes, they will. Yes, they will.
•Will they do the homework?
•No, they won’t. No,they won’t.
•Will they help children learn?
•Yes, they will. Yes, they will.
【设计意图】通过学生喜欢的chant形式巩固本节重点句型，增加学生学习兴趣。

2.竞猜游戏，操练句型
首先处理课本课后练习，
【设计意图】教师通过看图说句子，让学生操练重点句型Robots will …提高了语用能力。

然后设计游戏Game: What will robots do?以小组为单位选派代
表上台，扮演成机器人，并按老师给的指令做动作，让其余学生猜。

A：Will they ……? B：Yes, they will./No, they won’t.
【设计意图】通过小组内做游戏，培养学生合作能力，巩固重点句型。

3. 欣赏舞蹈，情感教育
欣赏节目《玩具总动员》，让学生感受科技，拓展学生视野，并告诉他们这些机器人是一些大学生设计的，希望同学们好好学习，将来设计出更好的机器人。

（四）Homework.
Design your own robot. Describe it with “This is ... It can... It will…”
【设计意图】本作业意在培养学生的想象力，让学生大胆创新设想自己的机器人将来会干什么事情。

不仅训练了学生的口语交际能力，同时培养学生放开思维大胆想象创新。

目的是操练重点知识They will…Blackboard design:
