Family is an important part of my life. I believe that the love and support of my family has helped me to become the person I am today. My parents have always been there
for me, through the good times and the bad. They have taught me valuable lessons about life and have encouraged me to pursue my dreams.
One of the things I appreciate most about my family is our ability to communicate in two languages. My parents are both fluent in Chinese and English, and they have passed on their language skills to me. Being bilingual has opened up so many opportunities for me, both personally and professionally.
I remember a time when my grandmother was hospitalized and could only speak Chinese. None of the hospital staff spoke Chinese, so my parents and I were able to communicate
with her and make sure she received the care she needed. It was a difficult time, but being able to speak Chinese made all the difference.
