摘要：PURPOSE:To check the arrangement of pages in the printing plate state by picking up images of two pages of a preliminarily determined combination out of images of folding units, which are arranged on a base material in each color unit, by two photographic devices and displaying processed images with a preliminarily determined combination on two display devices. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-shaped base material 20 where images of individual pages are arranged in each color unit is illuminated by a light source 40, and images of every pages of a preliminarily determined combination are picked up by TV cameras 30a and 30b. Cameras 30a and 30b are moved in X and Y directions by TV camera driving mechanisms 41a and 41b. A picture display controller 47 combines required picture signals in accordance with the combination determined by the folding system, the number of pages of folding, and the book opening method and subjects required pictures to inversion processing and inputs them to picture display devices 49a and 49b. For example, even pages are displayed successively on the device 49a, and odd pages are displayed successively on the device 49b, and thus, it is checked easily whether images of individual pages arranged on a printing layout film are arranged
in a correct order or not.
