在新课程背景下，构建以学生为主体，教师为主导的有效课堂教学活动成为英语教学的追求。

反思我们目前的课堂教学，可以发现主要存在以下几个问题：1．课堂丰富多彩，学生积极性高，可是活动与教学目标却没有实质性的联系。

2．注重了活动的趣味性，多样性，却忽略了对学生的认知水平的了解。

3．设计了大量低效率的活动。

由于上述诸多问题的存在，所以现在很多课堂教学活动表面上气氛热烈，形式花哨，为了活动而活动，缺乏有效性。

那怎么样才能算有效的英语教学活动呢？本人将从教学活动的设计和实施这两方面并结合实例来浅谈自己的见解。

二、课堂教学活动设计的有效性课堂活动设计的有效性是课堂活动有效性的基础和起点，要想提高课堂活动的质量，首先要靠教师精心设计课堂的活动内容。

本人认为，设计有效的小学英语教学活动的设计应当从以下几个方面入手：（一）设计活动应有明确的语言教学目标。

教学目标是评价一个课堂是否有效的最重要的依据，在课堂上开展的所有活动都是围绕教学目标设置的。

所以教师在设计教学目标时应该吃透教材，把握本节课的知识目标，能力目标，并做一些学习链接，分析哪些词汇与句型是学过的，哪些是重点与难点需要重点学习。

教学活动的设计应该以达到教学目标为导向，如果教学活动脱离了教学内容，偏离了教学目标，那么再有趣的教学活动也难以收到理想的教学效果。

例如，湘少版六年级下册Unit 5 Our earth looks like this in space.第一课时教学中，教师以春游为话题让学生猜测今年会去哪里春游，这个话题引起了学生的强烈兴趣，学生热情高涨，不断的猜测今年可能去的地方。

最后还是教师自己引出了今天需要学习的词汇之一“space museum”。

所以该项活动的设计出现了教学目标的错位。

A few days before the 22nd, a truck delivered a bunch of tiny tree saplings to us. There were maple, oak, pine, and other types.
