Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900-1944) and The Little Prince Saint-Exupery, a French aviator, created the literature of aviation in France. However, he is probably best known for his fantasy, The Little Prince (1943). In the story, a young prince from a distant planet tells the author of his experiences as he wandered among the planets seeking wisdom. The Little Prince, like Saint-Exupery’s other major writings, reflects his regard for human values and his opposition to all abuses of the human spirit.

六年级上册英语课件人教版七彩课堂
六年级上册英语课件人教版七彩课堂全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My New English Textbook for 6th GradeWow, a brand new English textbook for 6th grade! I was so excited when I got my hands on the "Rainbow Classroom" textbook from the People's Education Press. English is one of my favorite subjects and I couldn't wait to dive into all the new lessons and activities. The first unit was called "A Wonderful World" and it started off with a really cool reading about the seven wonders of the ancient world. I had heard about some of them like the Great Pyramids and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon before, but learning more details was so fascinating. There were lots of new vocabulary words too, like "monument", "marble", and "archaeologist". The reading exercises helped me practice my comprehension skills. After the reading, there were some listening exercises where we heard people talking about their favorite wonders. Listening is one of the hardest parts of English for me, so I appreciatedgetting more practice. The textbook multimedia resources with videos and audio clips are really useful for the listening sections. My favorite part of that unit was the group project where we had to research one of the new seven wonders of the modern world and make a poster presentation. My group chose the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We had to write descriptive paragraphs, look up facts and figures, find pictures, and then present it all to the class. It was a lot of work but I felt like I learned so much! The next unit was called "Our Beautiful Environment" and it was all about nature, plants, animals, and environmental protection. One of the readings was an advice column where kids wrote in asking how they could help the environment. The advice was really practical, like reducing plastic use, saving water and electricity, and recycling. It motivated me to be moreeco-friendly.We also read a moving story called "The Seedling" which was about a tiny plant growing through a difficult environment. The language was rich with metaphors and imagery. In class, we analyzed the symbolism and deeper meaning. I realized English can be just as beautiful and poetic as Chinese. For that unit's project, we did experiments testing different methods of plant growth. It was awesome getting hands-on and really brought the concepts to life. We had to observe, take notes, describe the process, and analyze the results. I felt like a little scientist!About halfway through the book, there was a review unit that went over all the grammar, vocabulary, reading strategies, and test skills we had learned so far. The practice exercises and mock tests were super helpful for solidifying everything. One of my favorite units after that was "Friendship and Growth" which was all about relationships, emotions, and facing challenges. The readings were very relatable, like a short story about a boy trying to save his friendship and an article about dealing with pressure from parents, school, and peers. The listening exercises involved counseling conversations which taught great communication advice. We also learned loads of useful idioms and expressions for describing feelings, like "a weight was lifted off my shoulders" and "every cloud has a silver lining".For the project, we had to write letters offering sympathy and advice to fictional people dealing with problems. My letter was to a girl whose parents were going through a divorce. It wassobering but also satisfying to try and help, even in a pretend scenario.Towards the end, the units got harder with more advanced content on topics like space exploration, cutting-edge technology, cross-cultural communication, and looking towards the future. I remember one unit had an interesting debate piece weighing the pros and cons of AI and machine learning. The readings and activities pushed me to build higher-level skills like analyzing evidence, formulating arguments, making inferences, and thinking critically. Honestly, some of it was over my head at first, but the more I worked through it, the more I could appreciate the depth and nuance. My English teacher was fantastic too. She always encouraged us to discuss, ask questions, think for ourselves, and never be afraid of making mistakes. Learning a language is impossible without making errors along the way.Throughout the textbook, there were also little cultural tidbits that taught me about English customs, traditions, idioms, and ways of life. It went beyond just vocabulary and grammar rules.Looking back over the whole "Rainbow Classroom" textbook, I'm proud of how much progress I made in a single school year. My reading comprehension is stronger, my listening skills have improved, my writing is more sophisticated, and I've built a larger working vocabulary.More importantly, I feel like I've grown as a whole student and person. English opened doors to understanding other cultures and perspectives. It gave me analytical tools for clearer thinking and communication. It broadened my experiences through interactive projects and multimedia resources.I'm actually a little sad to be finished with this textbook. But I know the skills and lessons I've gained will stick with me as I move on to even more challenging English materials in 7th grade and beyond. Bring it on!篇2Hi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a sixth-grader at Sunshine Elementary School. I'm so excited to share with you my thoughts on our new English textbook, "Rainbow Classroom," from the PEP (People's Education Press) series. Get ready for a colorful journey through the world of English! When I first saw the book, I was immediately drawn to its vibrant and cheerful cover. The rainbow colors and the smiling faces of children from different backgrounds made me feel welcomed and eager to dive into the lessons. It's like the book itself is inviting us to explore the wonders of the English language in a fun and engaging way.One of the things I love most about "Rainbow Classroom" is how it incorporates interesting and relatable stories into each unit. For example, in Unit 2, we learned about a group of friends who wanted to start their own club. The story followed their adventures as they came up with fun activities and rules for their club. Not only did it teach us useful vocabulary and grammar structures, but it also encouraged us to think about the importance of friendship, teamwork, and following rules. The dialogues in the book are so natural and lively, too! They really help us understand how to use English in real-life situations. I remember feeling a little nervous when we had to practice role-playing some of the conversations, but once I got into character, it became so much fun! My classmates and I couldn't stop giggling as we tried to mimic the different accents and expressions.Another aspect of "Rainbow Classroom" that I find really engaging is the variety of activities and games it offers. From word searches and crossword puzzles to interactive online resources, there's always something new and exciting to keep us motivated. I especially love the listening exercises because they feature native English speakers from different countries, which helps us get familiar with different accents and pronunciations. One of my favorite units so far has been Unit 4, where we learned about famous landmarks and attractions around the world. The vibrant pictures and fascinating facts about places like the Great Wall of China, the Eiffel Tower, and the Pyramids of Giza really captured my imagination. It made me want to travel and explore these amazing places someday! The best part is that "Rainbow Classroom" doesn't just focus on language learning; it also encourages us to think critically and express our opinions. In Unit 6, we had a lively discussion about environmental issues and what we can do to help protect our planet. It was so inspiring to hear my classmates' thoughts and ideas on such an important topic. One thing I really appreciate about our new textbook is how it celebrates diversity and encourages cultural understanding. The stories and characters come from all walks of life, and welearn about different customs, traditions, and ways of life. It's a great reminder that English is a global language that connects people from all over the world. As a sixth-grader, I know that learning a new language can be challenging at times, but "Rainbow Classroom" makes the journey so much more exciting and rewarding. With its engaging content, interactive activities, and positive messages, it's no wonder why it has quickly become one of my favorite subjects at school. So, if you're a fellow student or even a parent or teacher, I highly recommend checking out "Rainbow Classroom." Get ready to embark on a colorful adventure filled with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of rainbows!篇3My Favorite English Textbook: Rainbow ClassroomHey there, friends! I'm so excited to tell you all about my favorite English textbook - Rainbow Classroom! It's the textbook we've been using in our 6th grade English class this year, and let me tell you, it's been a total game-changer for me!First of all, the name itself is just so cool and catchy - "Rainbow Classroom." It makes me feel like I'm stepping into a world full of colors, fun, and adventure every time I open up the book. And you know what? That's exactly how it feels! The lessons in this book are just so engaging and interactive. They're not just pages and pages of boring text and grammar rules that make my head spin. Instead, they're packed with colorful illustrations, fun stories, and activities that really make learning English feel like a breeze. One of my favorite sections is the "Warm-up" at the beginning of each unit. It's like a little game or puzzle that gets my brain warmed up and ready to dive into the lesson. Sometimes it's a funny picture that we have to describe, or a riddle that we have to solve. It's always something different and exciting, and it really gets me pumped up for what's to come. And then there are the main stories and texts in each unit. They're all about different topics that are super interesting and relevant to our lives as kids. We've learned about everything from school life and hobbies to famous inventors and environmental issues. And the best part? The stories are told in such a fun and engaging way, with plenty of dialogues and illustrations to keep us hooked. But it's not just about reading and listening. Rainbow Classroom also has tons of opportunities for us to practice our speaking and writing skills. There are role-play activities where we get to act out conversations with our classmates, and writing tasks where we can express our thoughts and opinions. I used to be so shy about speaking English, but these activities have really helped me gain confidence. And let's not forget about the grammar and vocabulary sections! I know, I know, these parts can sometimes be a bit of a drag. But the way Rainbow Classroom presents them is just so clever and easy to understand. They use lots of examples and visuals to explain the concepts, and there are tons of practice exercises to help us really get the hang of things.Oh, and do you want to know my favorite part? The "Project Time" section at the end of each unit! This is where we get to work on group projects and presentations related to the unit's theme. It's such a fun way to apply everything we've learned and get creative with our English skills. One time, we had to create a poster about our dream jobs, and another time, we had to make a video about our favorite sports or hobbies. It's always something different and exciting, and it really helps us see how we can use English in real-life situations.I could go on and on about all the amazing things in Rainbow Classroom, but I think you get the idea! It's just such an engaging and fun way to learn English, and it's helped me improve so much this year.If you're a fellow 6th grader or even a student in a different grade, I highly recommend checking out this textbook. It's like having a colorful, exciting adventure every time you open it up. So what are you waiting for? Let's dive into the Rainbow Classroom together and make learning English the best experience ever!篇4My New English TextbookHey everyone! I'm super excited to tell you all about the new English textbook we just got for 6th grade. It's called "Rainbow Course" and it's published by the People's Education Press. I've had a chance to look through it a bit and it seems really cool.First of all, the book itself is really colorful and vibrant, just like the name suggests. The cover has a big rainbow on it alongwith some fun cartoon characters. It's a hardcover book but not too thick or heavy. Inside, the pages are nice and bright with lots of pictures, dialogues, stories, and activities. It's not just pages and pages of text like some textbooks. The book is divided into 8 different units, each with its own theme. The first unit is called "A New School Year" and has lessons about going back to school, class schedules, new classes and classmates, and school subjects. As a new 6th grader, I think this is the perfect way to start the year and get us ready for middle school life.Other units cover really engaging topics like reading, sports, holidays, and telling stories. There's even a unit focused on protecting the environment which I'm really looking forward to. Each unit starts with a warm-up section to get you thinking about the theme. Then there are reading passages, listening activities, grammar lessons, writing practice, and vocabulary builders. I love that there is such a nice mix of different things to do.One part that looks super fun are the animation stories at the start of some units. These are little cartoon videos that go along with the unit theme and help set up the material. Thecharacters are really cute and having videos built right into the lessons is such a cool, modern approach. The book also has lots of opportunities to learn about different cultures from around the world. The reading passages highlight things like festivals, traditions, famous people and places across many countries. There are matching activities where you identify things from various cultures too. I think this global perspective will be really eye-opening.Another aspect I'm excited about are all the game-like activities and interactive components. The book regularly prompts you to role play, put on a skit, play a language game, or work in groups. It seems like the lessons will be very hands-on and engaging rather than just sitting and reading the whole time. Teamwork and conversation practice are built right into the curriculum. There's also plenty of writing exercises where you can write stories, descriptions, letters, and more. The book gives examples to guide you but also lets you be really creative with your own ideas. I'm definitely looking forward to the writing projects as I love making up my own tales. What really impresses me most though is how the book is laid out in a really clear, step-by-step way. Each new grammarconcept has explanations, examples, and practice activities to solidify your understanding before moving on. The vocabulary is introduced gradually with lots of pictures and chances to use the words. You can really take your time to master one area before progressing. There are even resources at the back like vocabulary lists, cultural knowledge primers, writing templates, and test practice sections. Plus there's an online component with audio files, animations, and digital exercises you can access with a code in the book. Clearly a ton of thought went into making this an extremely comprehensive and multi-dimensional learning experience.Overall, I'm just so thrilled to get started using "Rainbow Course" as my new English textbook. It has everything I could want - engaging content, interactive approaches, gradualskill-building, cultural immersion, and fun multimedia components. The vibrant design and wide range of activities is sure to keep us motivated all year long.I know learning a second language won't be easy, but this book seems to make it as enjoyable and effective as possible. I can't wait to dive in, follow along with the cartoon friends, playthe games, write my stories, and steadily improve my English abilities. Bring on the rainbow of knowledge!篇5My New English TextbookYay, the school year just started and we got these brand new English textbooks! I was so excited when the teacher handed them out in class. This one is called "PEP Edition 7" and it's published by the People's Education Press. It looks really colorful and fun.The first unit is called "A Beautiful World" and it has a bunch of pictures of animals like pandas, kangaroos, and koalas. I love animals so I think this unit will be really interesting. There are readings and dialogues about taking care of animals and the environment. I can't wait to learn more vocabulary words about nature! One section that looks useful is the "Language Focus" part. It teaches us grammar points and sentence patterns. The first one is about using "there is/are" to describe things. Like "There are two baby pandas in篇6My Sixth Grade English TextbookHooray! I'm a sixth grader now! That means I get to use the new English textbook called "Rainbow Classroom." I was so excited when I first saw it during the summer holidays. The cover has a bright rainbow arching over a happy group of students sitting on the ground. They look really friendly and eager to learn. The first unit is called "Hello, New Term!" It starts by introducing some interesting students from around the world. There's Polly from Australia who loves swimming in the ocean. Hakim is from Egypt and his hobby is drawing ancient Egyptian symbols. I thought that was so cool! My favorite though is Wang Lin from China. He reminds me of one of my best friends. The unit teaches us how to greet each other and talk about our hobbies too.In the next unit, "My Day," we learn to talk about our daily routines and schedules. The dialogues showing kids describe their morning activities before school were pretty funny. I can relate to feeling sleepy but then getting energized after eating a good breakfast! We also practiced saying the days of the week and telling time. Useful skills for any student.Unit 3 is called "My Needs." This one focuses on shopping for food, clothes, school supplies and other things we need. It was interesting learning how kids from different countries might go shopping at unique places like outdoor markets. The example conversations teach really practical phrases for asking about prices and making purchases. Now I feel more prepared to go shopping with my parents. The middle unit is one of my favorites so far - "Once Upon a Time..." As you can guess, it's all about fairy tales and fables! I loved reading the short versions of classic stories like Cinderella and The Ant and the Grasshopper. The unit had us practice retelling the stories and identifying the morals or lessons. We even wrote and performed our own short plays based on the tales. So much fun! After the fairy tales, Unit 5 is "It's Diffrerent." This one explores how people have various cultures, customs and traditions around the world. We learned about special festivals, clothing styles, foods and more. The pictures andexamples made me feel like I was traveling the globe! At the end, we had to research and give presentations about a specific country. I chose to do mine on India and their beautiful traditional dresses. The last unit of the book is called "Views and Values." The readings and activities encouraged us to express our views on different topics like environmental protection, science and technology, andcaring for family. It really made me start thinking more deeply about my principles and ethics. The final lesson had us write persuasive letters about an issue important to us. I wrote mine on why we should reduce plastic use to help the oceans.Overall, I've been having a wonderful experience with the6th grade Rainbow Classroom textbook so far. The units cover such a wide range of interesting, practical andthought-provoking themes. The textbook does an amazing job teaching vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing in a really engaging way. The dialogues feel realistic and relatable. And there are so many cool pictures, games, songs and activities to make learning fun.I can't wait to continue exploring the rest of the units with my class this year. Who knew learning English could be this enjoyable and open windows onto so many fascinating worlds? Thanks to Rainbow Classroom, I'm excited to keep building my language skills and global knowledge. Here's to an awesome sixth grade year!。
