注意: if和whether引导宾语从句表示“是否”时, 通常两者可以互换。但是以 下几种情况, 只能用whether引导宾语从句: ①在whether. . . or not结构中; ②作介词的宾语; ③用在动词不定式前。
【助记】 discuss和介词后, whether引宾从; 不定式、or not后在跟, whether独能显神通。
