教材分析
本课时内容是选自陕西旅游出版社五年级下册Unit3 Spring Begins from March的第三课时。
本套教材能从学生兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,通过体验、实践、参与、合作与交流等学习方式,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,具有较强的科学性。
本单元的话题以四季展开,引导学生进一步学习四季的情景及相关活动,并学习每个季节所包含的月份,并能用功能结构句型在日常生活中灵活自如地讨论各自喜欢的季节及原因。
教学目标
1.能运用There are four seasons in a year.Each season ...谈论四季月份的划分。
2.能听、说、熟读课文,语音语调准确自然。
3.能在实际生活中灵活自如地运用所学的词汇和句型描述季节月份的划分,达到学以致用的目的。
教学重、难点
重点:
1.能流利使用功能句进行口语输出。
2.能听、说、熟读课文,语音语调准确自然。
难点:
用自己的话结合所学的词汇和句型对季节进行整体的描述及表达。

I.Leading In
i.Play a video about four seasons and answer the questions.
1.How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?
2.Look at the video and describe each season.
设计意图:通过四季的描述,既是对旧知的巩固,也是对学生能力的考察与检测,更为本课时的季节再学习做好铺垫。
II.Presentation
i.T:There are four seasons in a year.They are spring、summer、autumn and winter.(板书spring、summer、autumn、winter)
(利用图片的移动,简单介绍四季交替是由地球公转引起的。
)设计意图:四季常见,但是四季的形成原因很多同学并没有接触,以此激发学生对科学的一点求知欲。
1.T:Each season is different.Spring is warm.
Ss:Summer is ...
Autumn is...
Winter is...
T:Spring is warm.Which months are warm,too.(教师引导学生说出March、April、May并贴在spring旁)
教师引导学生复习巩固March、April、May,结合板书说出:Spring has three months.Spring begins from March.Spring is from March to May.
师讲解 begin from ...和from...to...的用法。
2.T:Summer is hot.Which months are hot,too.(集体回答月份:
June、July、August)
Ss:Summer has _____ months.Summer begins from _____.Summer is from _____to _____.
3.T:What about autumn? Autumn is cool.Which months are
cool,too.(autumn组讨论并选一名同学进行上面形式的答案汇报)
4.T:What about winter?(随机邀请学生结合上面内容进行自主回答)
设计意图:分别通过老师引导、集体回答、小组合作、自主完成,以循序渐进的过程体现学生是主人公的课堂角色。
5.结合PPT内容,引导学生回答:

iii.Listen to the tape again.

III.Practice Activities.
1.Write a short passage about each season.(自主完成)
2.Write a short passage about four seasons.(小组完成)
e.g.There are ...in a year.Each season has...months.Spring is....It begins from...to..../It begins from...We ...in spring.Summer is...(小组形式汇报)
设计意图:本课时是对课文的学习,也是对学生能力提升的过程,因
此以课文为契机,引导学生完成对课文内容的理解与掌握的同时,结合自己所学到的知识去描述四季,对学生进行个人能力的提升。
IV.Extension.
Play a video.
设计意图:通过视频播放四季的美好,及各种天灾,对学生进行德育教育的渗透。
然后通过PPT出示的Global Warming到Abnormal,再到Normal.引导学生明白保护环境,享受生活。
V.Summary.
Retell the passage by using PPT.
VI.Homework.
