关于先教授词汇和语法、然后进行故事教学,还是先进行故事教学、然后再重点学习故事中出现的重点词汇和语法这两种现象,众说纷纭。
个人更倾向于先进行故事教学、然后再重点学习故事中出现的重点词汇和语法。
爱听故事、爱讲故事是儿童的天性。
在听故事、讲故事的过程中,儿童不知不觉掌握了语言知识。
遵循学生喜爱故事的心理和特点,如果我们在教学中,能结合所要教学的词汇,创编各种贴近生活实际、生动活泼、学生感兴趣的故事进行教学,让学生在模仿、编演、朗读等活动中主动地学,那会极大地激发了学生的学习兴趣和学习动机。
因为故事作为一个具有相对较为完整语境的素材,它可能给学生提供各种精美的插图、丰富的语言输入以及地道的外国文化。
在故事教学的过程中,这些更能调动学生的积极性,加深他们对词汇乃至对故事的理解,帮助他们进行语言的输出。
总之,在实际教学中,如能巧妙地把词汇教学和故事教学进行有机结合,可以使部分学生学习英语的方式由被动为主动,学生的学习潜能得到充分挖掘。
