Revision
MODULE A TEACHING PLAN
Content:Revision of five modules that we have learned. [Junior 1,New standard English]
一、题材内容
本模块以我们所学知识为纲,重点是复习我们在前5模块所学语言知识和语法知识等, 并灵活的加以运用。

在让学生巩固所学知识的同时,又要对学生的学习进行评估,并进一步提高学生运用语言技能的能力。

十分符合学生的记忆规律,又及时的对学生进行阶段评估。

教学中应结合学生生活实际情况,灵活掌握教学过程,组织教学内容,丰富学生知识,拓展学生视野。

三、教学重点和难点
重点:1・能运用所学知识礼貌的进行日常对话。

2.There be... > have/has got句型表示"有”的肯定,疑问与否定形式。

难点:l.can、
some和any的用法
2.名词的单复数。

四、教学方法
基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则初步设计“P—T—P”自主学习立体模式:pre-task•・• task-cycle*• • post-task。

五、教材处理
核心任务:能够运用所学句型结构向不同的朋友介绍职业、家庭成员、饮食、学校和朋友等。

三个环节如下:
pre-task:学生联系生活实际,激活背景知识,。

task -cycle:通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化记忆所学知识,提高运用能力,为完成任务做好铺垫
post-task):达成任务,展示成果,反馈学习情况
六、教材安排
根据学生学习英语的特点和规律,我们把本模块划分为4课吋:
Period 1: Speaking and Grammar
Period 2 Vocabulary and Speaking
Period 3Reading
Period 4. Listening & Writing and Speaking
注:教学吋应根据学生的学习水平、接受程度及课堂出现的临吋状况进行运用、调整及筛选。

Period 1: Speaking and Grammar
Teaching Content: Speaking and Grammar
Teaching Aims and Demands:
1・ Language Knowledge
Key vocabulary: party, birthday, last, table .and what we have learned
Key structure: There be.../have/has got・・・(垂点)
2.The use of can/ some/any/ U.N./C.N. etc.

Learning strategies:
Bottom -up approach and do some exercises.
Teaching Aids: Multi-Media (, video, OHP, handout)
Teaching Procedures:
Part I:Revision
Task: Help students to revise what is learnt in last 5 modules.
Directions:
1 • Sh ow them some pictures ・Ask" Is there a ______ on the screen ?
Where is...?
Are there ...?
What is your favorite...?
Have you got... T etc.
Note: You can also use everyday classroom equipment ・
2 .Practise: The Ss. ask and answer in pairs using what we have learned to consolidate the words.
They can also do the Exx in the same way as what we do just now・
3.Do some choral and individual repetition of the different structures as you use them.
4.Talk about family trees using pictures..
Part II: Lead in:
1 .activity Ion page 32
Task: Look at the pictures. Ask and answer
Directions:
Step one: Show them some pictures about the words. Introduce to them to do the activity・Step two :Speak out the words in the picture and have the Ss. repeat them after you chorally and individually・
Step three: Ask the students to do activity Ion page 32・
Step four : Call back the answers as complete sentences in a whole- class setting using the known prepositions or phrases such as next to, behind , in front of etc..
Step five: Summarize :
Part III:・ 1. Activity 2on page 32
Task: To understand the passage .Improve the students, ability
Directions:
Step one: Read through the words and phrases in the box and ensure that the Ss. remember them all. Step two : Ask them to complete the passage individually ,then Check the answers with a partner..
Step three : Call back the answers as complete sentences in a whole・ class setting
Step four : They should repeat it several times・ Remember the words・

Task: Complete the conversation with there are/is, there isn v t/aren v t ・ is there or are there:
Directions:
Step one: Introduce to them the use of there are/is , there isn v t/aren v t. is there or are there:

Part I:Revision
1 ・ Help students to revise what we have learnt in last period.
Show them some pictures about the words in the first 5 modules. • Have the Ss. spell them chorally and individually・
Part II:Task: Revise the words
Directions:
Step one: Lead in the revision of the words by carrying out the following activities:
(1). Put the Ss. in pairs to ask and answer about the pictures.
(2).Let the Ss. to practise them in games.
Step two: Make 2 lists・ One is unhealthy ,the other is healthy.
(1)・ Make sure the Ss. Understand what the words mean and pronounce them correctly.
(2). Ask the students to list the words individually・
(3).・ Ask the students to share their list with a partner.
(4).Call back the answer in a whole- class setting as complete sentences and complete the chart on
the screen..
Step three: Put the words into the correct column with these words in activity 5.
(1)< Read through the words in the box and have the Ss. Repeat them after you.
(2).Ask them to put the words into the correct column on the screen.
(Ask students to speak out as many as they can)
Step four: Do activity 6 on page 33
(1)・Read through the 2 questions with the class to check on understanding and intonation.
(2).Pair the Ss. to ask and answer.
(3). Call back some pairs" questions and answers in a whole- class setting as complete sentences Step five: Do activity 4 on page 33
(1). Read through the words in the box and have the Ss. Repeat them after you and make sure the Ss. remember them all..
(2).Ask them to put the words into the passage.
(3). Call back some pairs" answers in a whole- class setting as complete sentences
Step six: Match the words •
(1). Ask the students to match the words individually.
Note:They should write the words in pairs, then check with a partner.
(2).Call back the answers in a whole- class setting and complete the chart on the screen.・
Step seven: Find the words
(1)Explain that this is a word recognition activity .Each word is joined to the next one without a space.
(2). Ask the students to find the words individually.
(2).Call back the answers with the whole class.
Part III: A test
Translate some words:

Teaching Aids :Multi-Media (, video, OHP, handout)
Teaching Procedures:
Part I: Revision
l.Help students to revise what is learnt in 2 periods of this module.
、2・Show them some pictures about the words in last period・ Have the Ss. spell them chorally and individually.
Part II: Reading
Task: Tell them the method and let them reading
Directions:
Step one: Lead in the reading by canying out the following activities:
(1 )・ Tell them the method of reading.
(2)Put the Ss. in pairs to discuss them
Step two: Reading
(1)> Read through the questions in the box and make sure the Ss. Understand what the questions mean
(2). Ask the students to read the passage individually.
(3).. Ask the students to share their answers with a partne匚
(4).Call back the answer in a whole- class setting as complete sentences.
Step three: Complete the sentences in activity IL
(1). Read through the passage again in activity 10 and have the Ss. complete the sentences in activity 11..
(2)They can then exchange with a partner..

(Ask students to speak out as many as they can without looking at their book.)
Part III:After-reading activities
1 ・Task: Talk about what you can /can't do.
Directions:
Step one: Look back at activity 11. Ask one or two students answer the questions first.
Step two: Pair the Ss. to ask and answer.
Step three: Circulate and provide the words they may need・
Step four: They should then swap and do it the other way round・
Step five: Circulate and monitor their production・
To summarise and consolidate the usage of can Ask" Can you make other similar examples?" Ask the Ss. To repeat the sentences in the box・
2. .Task Talk about food and drink they like or dislike ・
Directions:
Step one: Look at the pictures on the screen
Step two: Pair the Ss. to ask and answer, gradually eliciting the sentences from the Ss. rather than giving them yourself.
Step three: Call back the answer in a whole- class setting.
2. Task: Recite the text.
Directions:
•Step one: Then the teacher help the students recite the text according to the questions.
First check the answers with the whole class, then with individual students.
Step three: Ss. recite the text by themselves・
4.Dealing with expressions
Task:Read the text again .Pay attention to these sentences
Directions:
・Step one: Choose some sentences from the passage •
Step two: Let some of the Ss. to explain them.

Part I:Revision
Help students to revise what is learnt in last module・
Directions:
1 .Bring some pictures of families from foreign countries. into class. Talk about them by
asking “Where's he from?" “What do they have?" " Do they like Chinese food?^^ “ Can you write a food and drink poster?" etc.
2・Ask the Ss・to look at the different pictures of families from, England and America etc・ and talk about them・
Part II. Listening
1.Task: To understand conversations .Improve the students' listening ability .
Do Activity 9 on page 34
Directions:
Step one: Ask the Ss. to follow while you read through the questions and possible answers.
Step two : Play the recording once while they just listen.
Step three Play the recording once again for them to Check the answers with a partner.・
Step four : Play the recording once again for them, then once again to check・ with a partner.. Call back the answer in a whole- class setting.
Step five: Summarize 1) Ask the students to pay attention to the important details, not every details.
2). Catch the passage wholly not word by word・
3)We should practice listening every day. It can be several minutes every
day.
2.Task: Listen and label the people in the photo
Directions:
Step one: Play the recording and ask the Ss. to label the people in the photo
Step two : Play the recording again and pause after each phrase, asking the Ss. to repeat chorally and individually・
Step three: Call back the answer in a whole- class setting・
Part III. Writing and Speaking

Step one: Ask the students to punctuate the sentences in activity 13 on page 35 individually .Read them individually, then they can check with a partne匚
Step two : Call back the answer in a whole- class setting having Ss. read out sentences and say what they need in the way of punctuation-
Step three: Go through the examples with the class, making sure they understand what is used , where and why
complete the sentences with and or but and check their answers with a friend.
Step four : Call back the answer in a whole- class setting having Ss. read out complete sentences.
2>Task : Complete the information about yourself.
Directions:
Step one: Ask the students to complete this individually・
Step two: They can then exchange books with a partner for peer coiTection.
Step three: Call back a few examples from the whole class. Read the compositions and omit their names and let the Ss. guess who he is.
Step four: Summarize 1) Ask the students to pay attention to their handwriting.
2). Ask the students to pay attention to the spelling of the words.
Part IV: Recalling
Recall what we have revised today.
Part V: A test
