A New Beginning in Grade 1
Hello everyone! I am so excited to start the new school year as a first grader. I can't wait to learn new things, make new friends, and have lots of fun. This year, I am studying English for the first time, and I am really looking forward to it.
In our English class, we use the "New Horizon" textbook from the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. It's a great book with lots of interesting stories, dialogues, and exercises. Our teacher is very kind and always makes our lessons fun and interactive. We learn new words, grammar rules, and pronunciation every day, and I can already see myself improving.
One of my favorite things about learning English is practicing speaking. We often have pair or group activities where we can practice our speaking skills with our classmates. It's a great way to build confidence and improve our fluency. I also love listening to English songs and watching English cartoons in class. It helps me get used to the sounds of the language and makes learning more enjoyable.
I know that learning a new language can be challenging, but I am determined to work hard and improve my English skills. I
want to be able to communicate with people from different countries and cultures, and maybe even travel the world one day. English is such a useful language, and I know that learning it will open up many opportunities for me in the future.
I am so grateful for the chance to learn English in grade 1. This is just the beginning of my English learning journey, and I can't wait to see how much progress I will make by the end of the school year. I am excited to learn new things, make new friends, and have lots of fun as a first grader. Bring on the English lessons!。
