Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation?
Section A 1 (1a-2d)
一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1)通过谈论假期活动,引导学生复习、巩固对一般过去时的理解和运用,学习有关假期活动的词汇,并能运用它们进行听说读写训练谈论假期度过的方式。
进一步掌握一般过去时的疑问句的用法,在训练、发展听说能力的同时,感知一般过去时的问答语句结构和不定代词的运用。
2)要求学生A能够掌握课标要求的“四会”的词汇:anyone, anywhere, wonderful, quite a few, most, something, nothing, everyone, of course, myself, yourself
B能掌握以下重点句型:
a —Where did you go on vacation? —I went to the mountains.
b —Where did Tina to on vacation? —She went to the beach.
c —Di
d you go with anyone? —Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.
C 能够了解以下语法:
(1)复合不定代词someone, anyone, something, anything等的用法。
(2)yourself, myself等反身代词的用法。
(3)一般过去时态的特殊疑问句,一般疑问句及其肯定、否定回答。
(4)动词过去式的不规则变化。
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
学会用一般过去时进行信息交流,培养学生的环保意识,热爱大自然,热爱生活,了解国内外著名游览胜地。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 用所学的功能语言交流假期“去了哪儿旅行”拓展到“做过什么”。
2) 掌握本节课时所出现的新词汇。
2. 教学难点:
1) 复合不定代词someone, anyone, something, anything等的用法。
2) yourself, myself等反身代词的用法。

四、教学过程
Ⅰ. Lead-in
1.教师事先准备好一段自己假期的活动片段,结合照片或图画带着感情向学生介绍。
2.结合上周的研学旅行的情况或看动画片来进入本课时的主题谈论上周末做了些什么事情,谈论过去发生的事情。
3用以下对话来进行:A:How was your weekend? B:It was great.
A:What did you do last weekend? B:I…
A:How was his or her weekend? B;It was…
A:What did he or she do?B:He/She…
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Let Ss read the expressions.
2. Focus attention on the picture. Ask: What can you see? Say: Each picture shows
something a person did in the past. Name each activity and ask students to repeat: Stayed at home, Went to mountains, went to New York City 6. Went to the beach, visited my uncle, visited museums, went to summer camp
3. Now, please match each phrase with one of the pictures next to the name of the
activity,point to the sample answer.

5.Ask students to ask and answers in pairs according to the conversation in the picture.
III. Listening
1. Point to the picture on the screen.
Say: Look at the picture A. Where did Tina go on vacation? She went to mountains. Ask: What did the person do in each picture? Who stayed at home?ect.
2. Play the recording the first time.
3. Play the recording a second time.
Say: There are three conversations. The people talk about what did on vacation. Listen to the recording and write numbers of the names in the right boxes of the picture.
4. Check the answers.
IV.Pair work
1. Point out the sample conversation. Ask two Ss to read the conversation to the class.
2. Now work with a partner. Make your own conversation about the people in the picture.
3. Ss work in pairs. As they talk, move around the classroom and give any help they need.
4. Let some pairs act out their conversations.
V. Listening
1. Tell Ss they will hear a conversation about three students’ conversations. Listen for the first time and fill in the chart. Then listen again and check Yes, or No.
2. Let Ss read the phrases in the chart of 2b.
3. Play the recording the first time. Ss listen and fill in the chart.
4. Play the recording a second time for the Ss to check “Yes, I did.”or “No, I didn’t. ”
5. Check the answers with the Ss.
6.Work in groups to role-play the conversation in 2c.
VI. Pair work
1. Let two Ss read the conversation between Grace, Kevin and Julie.
2. Let Ss work in pairs and try to role-play the conversation.
3. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
4.Explain the language points.
VII. Role-play
1. First let Ss read the conversation and match the people and places they went.
2. Let Ss act out the conversations in pairs.
VIII. Language points
1. Did you buy anything special?
在英语中,anything, something, nothing和everything是用于指代事物的复合不定代词,与之相对应的复合不定代词anyone, someone, no one和everyone (anybody, somebody, nobody和everybody) 用于指人。
与形容词连用时,形容词必须置于复合不定词之后,语法上称作“后置”。
e.g. I can see someone new in your group.
There’s nothing interesting in the news today.
2. Did you go anywhere interesting?
anywhere意为“在任何地方”,常用于一般疑问句或否定句中,代替somewhere。
e.g. I can’t find my keys anywhere.
我到处也找不到我的钥匙。
3. We took quite a few photos there.
a few 意为“一些,若干(=some)”,后跟可数名词复数形式。
quite a few 意为“相当多;不少(=many)”后跟可数名词复数形式。
e.g. A few girls are playing volleyball.
几个女孩正在打排球。
There are quite a few birds in the forest.
在那片森林里有很多鸟。
4. I just stayed at home most of the time to read and relax.
most意为“大多数”,后跟可数名词或不可数名词均可。
e.g. Most students go to school on foot.
大多数学生步行去上学。
【辨析】
most + 名词泛指多数,无范围;
most + of + the (this/that/those/these等)名
词,指某一范围内的多数。
e.g. Most of the students go to school by bike.
这些学生们中的多数骑自行车去上学。
