第一次学英语作文
My First English Lesson。

I still remember the day I had my first English lesson. It was a warm and sunny day, and I was in the fourth grade of primary school. I was excited and nervous at the same time, as I had never learned a foreign language before.
The teacher, Mrs. Brown, greeted us with a big smile and introduced herself in English. I was amazed by her fluent pronunciation and clear diction. She then asked us to repeat after her some simple phrases, such as "hello", "goodbye", "thank you", and "sorry". I tried my best to imitate her, but I felt awkward and embarrassed.
Mrs. Brown noticed my hesitation and encouraged me to speak up. She told me that it was okay to make mistakes, and that the most important thing was to try. She also praised me for my effort and gave me a sticker as a reward.
I felt more confident and motivated, and I smiled back at
her.
During the rest of the lesson, we learned some basic vocabulary and grammar, such as colors, numbers, and verbs. We also played some games and sang some songs, which made the lesson more fun and interactive. I enjoyed the class and felt that English was not as difficult as I thought.
After the lesson, I went home and showed my parents the sticker I got from Mrs. Brown. They were proud of me and asked me what I had learned. I showed them the words and phrases I had written down in my notebook, and tried to pronounce them correctly. They also encouraged me to practice more and to watch English movies and TV shows.
From that day on, I became more interested in learning English. I borrowed some English books from the library and listened to some English songs on the radio. I also asked my friends to practice with me and to teach me some new words and expressions. I felt that English was not only a subject, but also a window to the world.
Now, many years later, I can say that my first English lesson was a turning point in my life. It opened up a new horizon for me, and gave me the opportunity to communicate with people from different countries and cultures. It also taught me the value of perseverance, courage, and curiosity.
I am grateful to Mrs. Brown and to all the teachers who
have guided me along the way, and I hope to continue
learning and using English in my future endeavors.。
