Unit 3 What would you like第一课时教学设计
教学目标
1. 能够听、说、读、写单词:ice cream,tea,hamburger,sandwich,salad。

2. 能够听懂、会说、会写句子:What would you like to eat/ drink? I’d like....
3. 能用本课时单词卡片完成角色扮演,操练新单词。

教学重点
掌握有关食物的单词:ice cream,tea,hamburger,sandwich,salad。

教学难点
本课时词汇量大,应设计有趣、符合学生生活实际的情景,以激发学生的兴趣,调动学生的学习积极性,达到教学目标。

教学工具
1. 教师准备本部分录音,准备录音机和本课时的录音带。

2. 教师准备本课时单词卡片与图片。

教学过程
一、热身( Warm-up)
1. Let's sing
(1)教师播放四年级上册Unit 5歌曲《What Would You Like?》,学生边唱边复习学过的食物单词。

(2)教师再次播放歌曲,学生重唱,复习句型:What would you like? I'd like....
(3)师生齐说四年级下册第四单元P39歌谣:
I like tomatoes. I like potatoes. Carrots l will try. I love to eat green beans. But onions make me cry.
2. 头脑风暴
(1)在说唱的基础上,要求学生说出所学过的有关食物的单词,先拼写后说出其汉语意思。

(2)师生共同归类所学过的有关食物的单词,如下表:
3. 对话练习
要求学生运用句型:What would you like? I'd like_与刚复习过的有关食物的单词,进行对话练习。

二、新课呈现( Presentation)
1. 教学Let’s learn
(1)教学单词ice cream和salad
(接上个环节,当学生说出I'd like_时)教师接着说:Would you like some ice cream? Would you like some salad? 边说边将单词1ce cream和salad的图片贴在黑板上,并在图片下方写出ice cream和salad,然后全班拼读这两个单词。

(2)教学单词hamburger和sandwich
教师左手拿hamburger图片,右手拿sandwich图片,问学生:
What would you like? What would you like to eat? A hamburger or a sandwich? I'd like a sandwich. 然后分音节教学这两个单词。

ham-bur-ger hamburger
sand-wich sandwich
(3) Chant together
教师带领学生诵读下列chant:
What would you like?
What would you like to eat?
What would you like to eat?
I'd like a hamburger.
I'd like a sandwich. I'd like ice cream, please.
I'd like salad, please.
(4)教学单词tea
接上个环节,当学生说完chant之后,教师说:Help yourselves! Here is drink for you.教师出示单词soup. juice. milk的图片问学生:What would you like? What would you like to drink? Soup, juice or milk?
当学生表达自己喜欢的饮料后,教师说:I'd like some tea. Tea is healthy for me.
然后出示tea图片和卡片,并进行跟读。

(5)听Let's learn部分录音,学生跟读。

(6)同桌互动
同桌利用食物图片操练新学单词。

S1:(出示ice cream图片)What would you like to eat?
S2: I'd like some ice cream.(出示hamburger图片)What would you like to eat?
S1: I'd like a hamburger.(出示sandwich图片)…
S2: …
三、巩固与拓展( Consolidation and extension)
1. 角色扮演
(1)活动:学当服务生。

活动方式:教师先启发学生:What would you like to eat? What would you like to drink? Let's go to the restaurant. Here is the order.教师边说边拿出点菜单,要求学生先在点菜单上面写下自己喜欢的食物( Food)和饮料(Drink),然后和服务员开始对话。

服务员和客人都由学生扮演。

对话如下:
S1: What would you like to eat/drink?
S2: I'd like....
其他学生根据听到内容举起相应卡片说:…,please. 谁的反应快,谁就是下一位客人。

(2)活动:点餐
活动方式:以四人为一组,每次一人充当餐馆服务员,其他三人充当客人,直到每人都当过服务员。

S1: What would you like to eat? What would you like to drink?
S2: I’d like...
S3: I’d like...
S4: I' d like....
四、家庭作业( Homework)
1. 写本课时的四会单词3遍。

2. 做本部分的活动手册配套练习。

3. 调查四位朋友他们喜欢吃的食物。

广闻博知
相传十八世纪英国有位公爵约翰·蒙塔古,生性爱赌,连吃饭也不愿意离开赌桌,为了不误事,他叫仆人用两片面包加上肉,送到赌桌上,边吃边赌。

这种吃法很快流传开来,人们便将两层面包中加东西的食物称为sandwich(三明治)。

根据所加内容的不同,sandwich又分为ham sandwich(火腿三明治),chicken sandwich(鸡肉三明治),cheese sandwich(干酪三明治)等。

后来,西方出现一种广告员,他们胸前和背后各挂一块广告牌,在街上行走,这使人联想到三明治的形状与构成,于是人们把这种人形象地称为sandwichman,把他们的广告牌称之为sandwich board。
