篇一:关于成功的英语演讲稿1.success, as is known, is the pursuit of many ambitious people. it requires much of a person.in my above all, one should be a person of strong perseverance. rome was not built in a day. on our long way to success, there are undoubtedly many difficulties standing in the way. if we lose heart and give uphalfway, nothing can be achieved. throughout history, we havehad many famous successful people in the world, of whom no one is weak-minded. take the great american scientist edison as an example, he tried experiment after experiment and had one failure after another before he finally invented the bulb, which lighted up the whole world. so we can conclude perseverance can surely be one of the secrets of success. furthermore, one needs to work hard to realize his dream just as the famous saying goes “hard work leads to success”.how can an isolated person be well-informed enough to go ahead of others? if so, that could be ridiculous. success is what one desires. so long as one is perseverant, hardworking and up-to-date, i am sure success is near at hand. 2.. .success is what?what is success? this is an old topic. however, however, everyone’s understanding of success is quite different. some people think that having money, house, car, a woman is successful. some people think that success is doing something that you want to do. some even deny the existence of success, he thinks this world is not successful, only the endless pursuit.so i want to make a new definition of success: success is something that people are very eager to do good things gained a sense of satisfaction and excitement.therefore, we do things, no matter big and small, as long as you want to do, and through your efforts made, and you happy, then you succeeded. do not look too far successful, they should not be too easy to see success, success requires your effort. those who believe that successful people do not exist, in fact, continue to define new goals, they will from what they have done to get happy, they succeeded.(each other. if you follow these principles, you will certainly achieve remarkable success in thefuture.in my opinion, success means achieving brilliant results in ones work, that is, making outstanding contributions to the development of the country and bringing happiness to the people. so my conclusion is that even if one has made great progress in what he does, i don’t think there’s any reasons for him tobeconceited.3.uccess大学英语作文谈到成功时,对于实现成功的原因不同的人有不同的看法。
关于成功英文作文
关于成功英文作文英文:Success is a journey, not a destination. It's about continuously working towards your goals, overcoming obstacles, and learning from your experiences. For me, success is not just about achieving a specific outcome, but also about the personal growth and development that comes with it.One example of success in my life is when I landed my dream job after years of hard work and perseverance. I had faced numerous rejections and setbacks along the way, but I never gave up. I continued to improve my skills, network with professionals in the industry, and seek out opportunities. Finally, my efforts paid off when I received an offer from the company I had always admired. This experience taught me the value of resilience and determination in the face of challenges.Another example of success for me is when I completed a marathon. It was a grueling physical and mental challenge, but crossing the finish line filled me with a sense of accomplishment and pride. I had trained for months, pushed through pain and exhaustion, and stayed focused on my goal. The experience taught me the importance of discipline and perseverance in achieving long-term objectives.中文:成功是一场旅程,而不是一个终点。

Continuous pursuit of life, is colourful life is brilliant gorgeous life.坚持就是成功英文演讲稿3Everyone has his dreams, but not all these dreams can come true. People give up their dreams for this or that reason. Those whose dreams become true have at least one thing in common, that is, they always hold fast to their dreams.Marie Curie, a famous scientist, has set a good example. In 1898, Marie found a new element in the pitchblende. In order to prove her discovery, she must get it and show it to the world. Then to get the new element became her dream and goal of her life. After four years hard work and refinement of tons of pitchblende, Marie and her hus-band at last saw the dim blue light of the new element -- radium. Her dream hadcome true. There are many other examples. Just around us, for instance, the athletes who gain the gold medals, the artists who are popular with the public, and even the students who enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation, are all dream-holders.Hold fast to your dreams, no matter how big or small they are. The path to dreams may not be smooth and wide, even some sacrifices are needed, but hold on to the end, you ,sill find there is no greater happiness than making your dream come true.坚持就是成功英文演讲稿4The dream is beautiful, it is the moral nature most beautiful expectation; The dream is the sunlight, it causes the human to move toward steadfastness by the impetuousness, by paces back and forth moves toward firmly, and moves toward successfully. Each person life will have the innumerable dreams, some forever will not be perhaps realistic, so long as but paid has tried hard, will not regret; But tumbles after these was deliberately bad the dejected person, the dream was forever could also not arrive other shore, has not been assorted with the dream the difference. In begins school in the first class classroom. After Yang Meng Hengda Brother loses the double arm, has not given up, he has fallen in love with the sports, in the Paralympic Gameseed trials, he failed to be elected. He is very painful, but he thought that his first time tumbles merely, the following road is also very long, therefore his heavy tree confidence, diligently and melted strongly in the same place turned the success, but succeeded the behind, was the countless sweat and the teardrops.I once had heard a such story: Some team, trained assiduously has been very long, actually did not have to progress little, they even thought to dismiss, therefore trained them has called, said to them: “you know player Tom?”The members shake the head. The training also said that “that you know Mr. Belli?” “knows!”The members replied together. “your person or Tom are not because Tom tumbles again time gave up, but Mr. Belli said unceasingly in the rugged steps to success to oneself: the `success will be certainly will tumble several times, insisted, you may! because his insistence, therefore he has become the giant star who the people all know. How on the successful road can not rough? If Lian Zhei could not endure, how to realize the dream?”The dream is ever does not say abandons, strives for success diligently energetic resistance, if we look like Yang Meng Heng Brother, Brother Liu Wei, remembers Chinese elder sister such, adds on the spiritual which and the intravenous drip tear and the perspiration again in the dream foundation never gives up, but also has is assorted cannot achieve?坚持就是成功英文演讲稿5We often hear people say, “Never give up.” These can be encouraging words and words of determination. A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. Benjamin Franklin once said,”Great works are performed not by strength, but by perseverance.”From the remark,we can infer that,of all the advantageous characteristics, perseverance plays a crucial role in one’s success.Remember that year, I bought a bike, but I cant ride a bike! Mom seems to understand my thoughts, gently to me: tomorrow Ill show you to your square, teach you to ride a bicycle. Good! Im happy to reply. The next morning, my mother and I went to the square. Mother let me push this bike, and look for the feeling, I have to not boring to walk cycles. Fifteen minutes passed, and my feet really acid! I want to back down. Well, learn the bike how so difficult, it is better not learn! At this time, my mother said to me : well, quite good! Listened to mothers words, my heart is light suddenly full of confidence. Mother then began to lecture, learning bicycle, the most important thing is to keep the car balance, otherwise the car like a no head of flies, left, right. Didnt walk a few steps, I already fell off. My knees hurt, out of the red blood, looking at this bright red blood, I cant help but shed a hot tears, his mouth still keeps saying: I dont learn, I dont learn! After listening to his mother, tolongly say to me: do what matter as long as perseverance, perseverance, perseverance will be successful. Like what you do is always fall by the wayside, how can success? Listen to the mothers teachings I have the confidence again, two days before, I had learned to ride a bicycle, but most importantly, I learned to insist on.Now I see them as my motto, adhere to is victory let it remind me to do anything as long as perseverance, perseverance, perseverance will be successful.Nothing can be more exciting than success to a man.But you must face many difficulties before you can succeed. No one can make it easily. And its harder for those who are in adverse conditions to succeed. However, everything has two sides.Just as someone said, in every adversity there lies the seed of an advantage and in every defeat there is a lesson showing you how to win the victory next time. The most important focus is to establish a brief, that is perseverance. The British ex-prime minister Winston Churchill had a motto of Never, never, never, never give up .Nothing can substitute for hard work. Ladies and gentlemen,。
Today, I am honored to stand before you to share my thoughts on the topic of success. As we all know, success is something that everyone desires, but not everyone is able to achieve. So, what is the secret to success? In my opinion, success comes from struggle.First and foremost, struggle is the driving force behind success. Without struggle, there would be no progress. It is through overcoming obstacles and challenges that we are able to grow and develop. Think about some of the most successful people in the world – they all faced numerous setbacks and failures before they achieved their goals. It is their perseverance and determination in the face of adversity that ultimately led them to success.Secondly, struggle builds character. When we face difficulties, we are forced to dig deep within ourselves and find the strength and resilience to keep going. It is during these challenging times that we discover what we are truly capable of. We learn to be patient, persistent, and adaptable. These are the qualities that are essential for success in any endeavor.Furthermore, struggle teaches us important life lessons. It helps us to appreciate the value of hard work and dedication. It teaches us to be humble and to never take success for granted. Without struggle, we would not be able to fully appreciate the fruits of our labor. It is through the process of struggle that we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.In addition, struggle fosters innovation and creativity. When we are faced with obstacles, we are forced to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions. Some of the greatest inventions and breakthroughs in history have come as a result ofindividuals facing and overcoming difficult challenges. It is through struggle that we are able to push the boundaries of what is possible and achieve great things. Finally, struggle creates a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. When we are able to overcome challenges and achieve our goals, we experience a sense of accomplishment that is unparalleled. The feeling of knowing that we have worked hard and persevered through difficult times is incredibly rewarding. It is this sense of fulfillment that makes the struggle worthwhile. In conclusion, success is not something that comes easily. It is the result of hard work, determination, and perseverance. It is through struggle that we are able to reach our full potential and achieve our dreams. So, the next time you face a challenge, remember that it is through struggle that success is born. Embrace the struggle, learn from it, and let it propel you towards your goals. Thank you.。

成功的秘诀:坚持不懈与智慧并行英文演讲稿范文
成功的秘诀:坚持不懈与智慧并行英文演讲稿范文Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and fellow colleagues,It is truly an honor and a privilege to stand before you today to share some thoughts on the secret to success. Success is something that we all strive for, and it is something that is often elusive and hard to attain. However, I firmly believe that there are two key elements that are essential for achieving success: perseverance and wisdom.First and foremost, perseverance is a crucial factor in achieving success. The road to success is not always smooth, and there are often obstacles and challenges that we must overcome. It is during these difficult times that perseverance becomes essential. We must be willing to pushthrough the tough times, to keep going even when the going gets tough. It is the ability to continue on, despite adversity, that separates the successful from the unsuccessful. As the saying goes, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going."On the other hand, wisdom is also a critical component of success. It is not enough to simply work hard and push through challenges. We must also be smart about the decisions that we make and the actions that we take. Wisdom allows us to make informed choices, to learn from our mistakes, and to make the best use of our resources. It is the combination of perseverance and wisdom that allows us to navigate the ups and downs of life and to ultimately achieve our goals. So, in conclusion, I believe that the secret to success lies in the combination of perseverance and wisdom. It is not enough to simply work hard, nor is it enough to simply be smart. We must have both qualities in order to truly achievesuccess. And so, I urge each and every one of you to persevere in the face of challenges, to be wise in your decision making, and to keep pushing forward towards your goals. With perseverance and wisdom, I am confident that success will be within your reach.Thank you.。

关于成功英文作文
关于成功英文作文英文:Success is a topic that has been discussed and debated for centuries. What does it mean to be successful? Is it achieving wealth, fame, or power? Or is it about finding fulfillment and happiness in our lives? In my opinion, success is a combination of both external and internal factors.External success can be measured by material wealth, career achievements, and social status. For example, a person who has a high-paying job, a luxurious house, and a fancy car may be considered successful in the eyes of society. However, this type of success is often fleeting and can leave people feeling empty and unfulfilled. On the other hand, internal success is about finding purpose, passion, and happiness in our lives. It's about living a life that is meaningful and fulfilling, regardlessof external measures of success. For instance, someone who has a job that they are passionate about, maintains healthy relationships, and has a strong sense of purpose may be considered successful in their own right.中文:成功是一个被讨论和辩论了几个世纪的话题。
成功的演讲稿英文
成功的演讲稿英文Ladies and gentlemen,Welcome to this remarkable gathering where the seeds of inspiration are sown and the fruits of success are harvested. Today, I stand before you not just as a speechwriter, but as a fellow traveler on the journey to triumph. The art of crafting a successful speech is one that I have pursued with passion and dedication for many years. And today, I share with you the secrets that have propelled my clients to the pinnacle of their careers.A successful speech is not just a collection of words, but a symphony of thoughts, emotions, and ideas. It is a carefully crafted narrative that resonates with the hearts and minds of the audience. So, how do we achieve this? How do we create a speech that not only captures the attention of the listeners but also leaves a lasting impression? Firstly, we must understand our audience. They are the soil in which our speech will take root and grow. We must delve deep into their needs, desires, and aspirations. We must know their fears, their hopes, and their dreams. This knowledge will allow us to tailor our message in a way that speaks directly to their souls.Next, we must have a clear and compelling message. A successful speech is like a lighthouse, guiding the audience through the stormyseas of uncertainty. It is a beacon of hope, illuminating the path to success. Your message should be simple, yet profound. It should inspire and motivate, challenging the audience to rise above their limitations and reach for the stars. But a successful speech is not just about the words; it is also about the delivery. The spoken word is a powerful tool, capable of moving mountains and changing hearts. Your tone, your gestures, your facial expressions – all of these contribute to the overall impact of your speech. Remember, the audience not only listens to your words but also feels them. So, speak with passion, with conviction, and with authenticity. Let your words flow like a river, carrying the audience along on a journey of discovery and inspiration. Now, let us talk about structure. A successful speech is like a well-constructed building, solid and dependable. It has a clear beginning, a captivating middle, and a powerful conclusion. The opening should grab the audience's attention, drawing them into your world. The body of your speech should provide a logical progression of ideas, building upon each other to create a cohesive and compelling argument. And the conclusion should leave the audience with a lasting impression, a mental image that they will carry with them long after you have left the stage. Finally, let us not forget the importance of preparation. A successfulspeech is not the result of chance, but of hard work and dedication. You must invest time and effort into crafting your message, refining your delivery, and rehearsing your speech. Remember, practice makes perfect. And when you step onto that stage, you should be confident in your abilities, knowing that you have prepared yourself to the best of your abilities. In conclusion, a successful speech is a blend of understanding your audience, having a clear message, delivering it with passion and authenticity, having a well-structured framework, and thorough preparation. It is an art that requires skill, practice, and an inherent ability to connect with others. But above all, it is an act of courage, vulnerabilty, and a deep desire to inspire and make a difference. As you step onto the stage today, remember these words. Let them guide you, inspire you, and propel you towards success. For in the end, a successful speech is not just a speech – it is a legacy, a ripple in the pond that creates a tidal wave of change.Thank you.。

As I listened to Ralph Abernathy and his eloquent and generous introduction and then thought about myself, I wondered who he was talking about. It's always good to have your closest friend and associate to say something good about you. And Ralph Abernathy is the best friend that I have in the world. I'm delighted to see each of you here tonight in spite of a storm warning. You reveal that you are determined to go on anyhow.Something is happening in Memphis; something is happening in our world. And you know, if I were standing at the beginning of time, with the possibility of taking a kind of general and panoramic view of the whole of human history up to now, and the Almighty said to me, “Martin Luther King, which age would you like to live in?” I would take my mental flight by Egypt and I would watch God's children in their magnificent trek from the dark dungeons of Egypt through, or rather across the Red Sea, through the wilderness on toward the promised land. And in spite of its magnificence, I wouldn't stop there.I would move on by Greece and take my mind to Mount Olympus. And I would see Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Euripides and Aristophanes assembled around the Parthenon. And I would watch them around the Parthenon as they discussed the great and eternal issues of reality. But I wouldn't stop there.I would go on, even to the great heyday of the Roman Empire. AndI would see developments around there, through various emperors and leaders. But I wouldn't stop there.I would even come up to the day of the Renaissance, and get a quick picture of all that the Renaissance did for the cultural and aesthetic life of man. But I wouldn't stop there.I would even go by the way that the man for whom I am named had his habitat. And I would watch Martin Luther as he tacked his ninety-five theses on the door at the church of Wittenberg. But I wouldn't stop there.I would come on up even to 1863, and watch a vacillating President by the name of Abraham Lincoln finally come to the conclusion that he had to sign the Emancipation Proclamation. But I wouldn't stop there.I would even come up to the early thirties, and see a man grappling with the problems of the bankruptcy of his nation. And come with a n eloquent cry that we have nothing to fear but “fearitself.” But I wouldn't stop there.Strangely enough, I would turn to the Almighty, and say, “If you allow me to live just a few years in the second half of the 20th century, I will be happy.”Now that's a strange statement to make, because the world is all messed up. The nation is sick. Trouble is in the land; confusion all around. That's a strange statement. But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. And I see God working in this period of the twentieth century in a way that men, in some strange way, are responding.Something is happening in our world. The masses of people are rising up. And wherever they are assembled today, whether they are inJohannesburg, South Africa; Nairobi, Kenya; Accra, Ghana; New York City; Atlanta, Georgia; Jackson, Mississippi; or Memphis, Tennessee -- the cry is always the same: “We want to be free.”And another reason that I'm happy to live in this period is that we have been forced to a point where we are going to have to grapple with the problems that men have been trying to grapple with through history, but the demands didn't force them to do it. Survival demands that we grapple with them. Men, for years now, have been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence. That is where we are today. And also in the human rights revolution, if something isn't done, and done in a hurry, to bring the colored peoples of the world out of their long years of poverty, their long years of hurt and neglect, the whole world is doomed. Now, I'm just happy that God has allowed me to live in this period to see what is unfolding. And I'm happythat He's allowed me to be in Memphis.I can remember -- I can remember when Negroes were just going around as Ralph has said, so often, scratching where they didn't itch, and laughing when they were not tickled. But that day is all over. We mean business now, and we are determined to gain ourrightful place in God's world. And that's all this whole thing is about. We aren't engaged in any negative protest and in any negative arguments with anybody. We are saying that we are determined to be men. We are determined to be people. We are saying -- We are saying that we are God's children. And that we are God's children, we don't have to live like we are forced to live. Now, what does all of this mean in this great period of history? It means that we've got to stay together. We've got to stay together and maintain unity. You know, whenever Pharaoh wanted to prolong the period of slavery in Egypt, he had a favorite, favorite formula for doing it. What was that? He kept the slaves fighting among themselves. But whenever the slaves get together, something happens in Pharaoh's court, and he cannot hold the slaves in slavery. When the slaves get together, that's the beginning of getting out of slavery. Now let us maintain unity.Secondly, let us keep the issues where they are. The issue is injustice. The issue is the refusal of Memphis to be fair and honest in its dealings with its public servants, who happen to be sanitation workers. Now, we've got to keep attention on that. That's always the problem with a little violence. You know what happened the other day, and the press dealt only with the window-breaking. I read the articles. They very seldom got around to mentioning the fact that one thousand, three hundred sanitation workers are on strike, and that Memphis is not being fair to them, and that Mayor Loeb is in dire need of a doctor. They didn't get around to that. Now we're going to march again, and we've got to march again, in order to put the issue where it is supposed to be -- and force everybody to see that there are thirteen hundred of God's children here suffering, sometimes going hungry, going through dark and dreary nights wondering how this thing is going to come out. That's the issue. And we've got to say to the nation: We know how it's coming out. For when people get caught up with that which is right and they are willing to sacrifice for it, there is no stopping point short of victory. We aren't going to let any mace stop us. We are masters in our nonviolent movement in disarming police forces; they don't know what to do. I've seen them so often. I remember in Birmingham, Alabama, when we were in that majestic struggle there, we would move out of the 16th Street Baptist Church day after day; by the hundreds we would move out. And Bull Connor would tell them to send the dogs forth, and they did come; but we just went before the dogs singing, “Ain't gonna let nobody turn me around.”Bull Connor next would say, “Turn the fire hoses on.” And as I said to you the other night, Bull Connor didn't know history. He knew a kind of physics that somehow didn't relate to the transphysics that we knew about. And that was the fact that there was a certain kind of fire that no water could put out. And we went before the fire hoses; we had known water. If we were Baptist or some other denominations, we had been immersed. If we were Methodist, and some others, we had been sprinkled, but we knew water. That couldn't stop us.And we just went on before the dogs and we would look at them; and we'd go on before the water hoses and we would look at it, and we'd just go on singing “Over my head I see freedom in the air.” And then we would be thrown in the paddy wagons, and sometimes we were stacked in there like sardines in a can. And they would throw us in, and old Bull would say, “Take 'em off,” and they did; and we would just go in the paddy wagon singing, “We Shall Overcome.” And every now and then we'd get in jail, and we'd see the jailers looking through the windows being moved by our prayers, and being moved by our words and our songs. And there was a power there which Bull Connor couldn't adjust to; and so we ended up transforming Bull into a steer, and we won our struggle in Birmingham. Now we've got to goon in Memphis just like that. I call upon you to be with us when we go out Monday. Now about injunctions: We have an injunction and we're going into court tomorrow morning to fight this illegal, unconstitutional injunction. All we say to A merica is, “Be true to what you said on paper.” If I lived in China or even Russia, or any totalitarian country, maybe I could understand some of these illegal injunctions. Maybe I could understand the denial of certain basic First Amendment privileges, because they hadn't committed themselves to that over there. But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for right. And so just as I say, we aren't going to let dogs or water hoses turn us around, we aren't going to let any injunction turn us around. We are going on.We need all of you. And you know what's beautiful to me is to see all of these ministers of the Gospel. It's a marvelous picture. Whois it that is supposed to articulate the longings and aspirations of the people more than the preacher? Somehow the preacher must have a kind of fire shut up in his bones. And whenever injustice is around he tell it. Somehow the preacher must be an Amos, and saith, “When God speaks who can but prophesy?” Again with Amos, “Let justiceroll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.” Somehow the preacher must say with Jesus, “The Spirit of th e Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me,” and he's anointed me to deal with the problems of the poor.“And I want to commend the preachers, under the leadership of these noble men: James Lawson, one who has been in this struggle formany years; he's been to jail for struggling; he's been kicked out of Vanderbilt University for this struggle, but he's still going on, fighting for the rights of his people. Reverend Ralph Jackson, Billy Kiles; I could just go right on down the list, but time will not permit. But I want to thank all of them. And I want you to thank them, because so often, preachers aren't concerned about anything but themselves. And I'm always happy to see a relevant ministry. It's all right to talk about ”long white robes over yonder,“ in all of its symbolism. But ultimately people want some suits and dresses and shoes to wear down here! It's all right to talkabout ”streets flowing with milk and honey,“ but God has commanded us to be concerned about the slums down here, and his children who can't eat three square meals a day. It's all right to talk about the new Jerusalem, but one day, God's preacher must talk about the new New York, the new Atlanta, the new Philadelphia, the new Los Angeles, the new Memphis, Tennessee. This is what we have to do.Now the other thing we'll have to do is this: Always anchor our external direct action with the power of economic withdrawal. Now, we are poor people. Individually, we are poor when you compare us with white society in America. We are poor. Never stop and forget that collectively -- that means all of us together -- collectively we are richer than all the nations in the world, with the exception of nine. Did you ever think about that? After you leave the United States, Soviet Russia, Great Britain, West Germany, France, and I could name the others, the American Negro collectively is richer than most nations of the world. We have an annual income of more than thirty billion dollars a year, which is more than all of the exports of the United States, and more than the national budget of Canada. Did youknow that? That's power right there, if we know how to pool it.We don't have to argue with anybody. We don't have to curse and go around acting bad with our words. We don't need any bricks and bottles. We don't need any Molotov cocktails. We just need to go around to these stores, and to these massive industries in our country, and say, ”God sent us by here, to say to you that you're not treating his children right. And we've come by here to ask you to make the first item on your agenda fair treatment, where God's children are concerned. Now, if you are not prepared to do that, we do have an agenda that we must follow. And our agenda calls for withdrawing economic support from you.“And so, as a result of this, we are asking you tonight, to go out and tell your neighbors not to buy Coca-Cola in Memphis. Go by and tell them not to buy Sealtest milk. Tell them not to buy -- what is the other bread? -- Wonder Bread. And what is the other bread company, Jesse? Tell them not to buy Hart's bread. As Jesse Jackson has said, up to now, only the garbage men have been feeling pain; now we must kind of redistribute the pain. We are choosing these companies because they haven't been fair in their hiring policies; and we are choosing them because they can begin the process of saying they are going to support the needs and the rights of these men who are on strike. And then they can move on town -- downtown and tell Mayor Loeb to do what is right. But not only that, we've got to strengthen black institutions. I call upon you to take your money out of the banks downtown and deposit your money in Tri-State Bank. We want a ”bank-in“ movement in Memphis. Go by the savings and loan association. I'm not asking you something that we don't do ourselves at SCLC. Judge Hooks andothers will tell you that we have an account here in the savings and loan association from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. We are telling you to follow what we are doing. Put your money there. You have six or seven black insurance companies here in the city of Memphis. Take out your insurance there. We want to havean ”insurance-in.“Now these are some practical things that we can do. We begin the process of building a greater economic base. And at the same time, we are putting pressure where it really hurts. I ask you to follow through here. Now, let me say as I move to my conclusion that we've got to give ourselves to this struggle until the end. Nothing would be moretragic than to stop at this point in Memphis. We've got to see it through. And when we have our march, you need to be there. If it means leaving work, if it means leaving school -- be there. Be concerned about your brother. You may not be on strike. But either we go up together, or we go down together.Let us develop a kind of dangerous unselfishness. One day a man came to Jesus, and he wanted to raise some questions about some vital matters of life. At points he wanted to trick Jesus, and show himthat he knew a little more than Jesus knew and throw him off base.... Now that question could have easily ended up in a philosophical and theological debate. But Jesus immediately pulled that question from mid-air, and placed it on a dangerous curve between Jerusalemand Jericho. And he talked about a certain man, who fell among thieves. You remember that a Levite and a priest passed by on the other side. They didn't stop to help him. And finally a man ofanother race came by. He got down from his beast, decided not to becompassionate by proxy. But he got down with him, administered first aid, and helped the man in need. Jesus ended up saying, this was the good man, this was the great man, because he had the capacity to project the ”I“ into the ”thou,“ and to be concerned about his brother. Now you know, we use our imagination a great deal to try to determine why the priest and the Levite didn't stop. At times we say they were busy going to a church meeting, an ecclesiastical gathering, and they had to get on down to Jerusalem so they wouldn't be late for their meeting. At other times we would speculate that there was a religious law that ”One who was engaged in religious ceremonials was not to touch a human body twenty-four hours beforeth e ceremony.“ And every now and then we begin to wonder whether maybe they were not going down to Jerusalem -- or down to Jericho, rather to organize a ”Jericho Road Improvement Association.“ That's a possibility. Maybe they felt that it was better to deal with the problem from the causal root, rather than to get bogged down with an individual effect. But I'm going to tell you what my imagination tells me. It's possible that those men were afraid. You see, the Jericho road is a dangerous road. I remember when Mrs. King and I were first in Jerusalem. We rented a car and drove from Jerusalem down to Jericho. And as soon as we got on that road, I said to my wife, ”I can see why Jesus used this as the setting for his parable.“ It's a winding, meandering road. It's really conducive for ambushing. You start outin Jerusalem, which is about 1200 miles -- or rather 1200 feet above sea level. And by the time you get down to Jericho, fifteen or twenty minutes later, you're about 2200 feet below sea level. That's adangerous road. In the days of Jesus it came to be known asthe ”Bloody Pass.“ And you know, it's possible that the priest and the Levite looked over that man on the ground and wondered if the robbers were still around. Or it's possible that they felt that the man on the ground was merely faking. And he was acting like he had been robbed and hurt, in order to seize them over there, lure them there for quick and easy seizure. And so the first question that the priest asked -- the first question that the Levi te asked was, ”If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?“ But then the Good Samaritan came by. And he reversed the question: ”If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?“That's the question before you tonight. Not, ”If I sto p to help the sanitation workers, what will happen to my job. Not, “If I stop to help the sanitation workers what will happen to all of the hours that I usually spend in my office every day and every week as a pastor?” The question is not, “If I stop to he lp this man in need, what will happen to me?” The question is, “If I do not stop to help the sanitation workers, what will happen to them?” That's the question.Let us rise up tonight with a greater readiness. Let us stand with a greater determination. And let us move on in these powerful days, these days of challenge to make America what it ought to be. We have an opportunity to make America a better nation. And I want to thank God, once more, for allowing me to be here with you.You know, several years ago, I was in New York City autographing the first book that I had written. And while sitting there autographing books, a demented black woman came up. The only question I heard from her was, “Are you Martin Luther King?” And I waslooking down wri ting, and I said, “Yes.” And the next minute I felt something beating on my chest. Before I knew it I had been stabbed by this demented woman. I was rushed to Harlem Hospital. It was a dark Saturday afternoon. And that blade had gone through, and the X-rays revealed that the tip of the blade was on the edge of my aorta, the main artery. And once that's punctured, your drowned in your own blood -- that's the end of you.It came out in the New York Times the next morning, that if I had merely sneezed, I would have died. Well, about four days later, they allowed me, after the operation, after my chest had been opened, and the blade had been taken out, to move around in the wheel chair in the hospital. They allowed me to read some of the mail that came in, and from all over the states and the world, kind letters came in. I read a few, but one of them I will never forget. I had received one from the President and the Vice-President. I've forgotten what those telegrams said. I'd received a visit and a letter from the Governor of New York, but I've forgotten what that letter said. But there was another letter that came from a little girl, a young girl who was a student at the White Plains High School. And I looked at that letter, and I'll never forget it. It said simply,Dear Dr. King,I am a ninth-grade student at the White Plains High School.“And she said,While it should not matter, I would like to mention that I'm a white girl. I read in the paper of your misfortune, and of your suffering. And I read that if you had sneezed, you would have died. And I'm simply writing you to say that I'm so happy that you didn't sneeze. And I want to say tonight -- I want to say tonight that I too am happy that I didn't sneeze. Because if I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been around here in 1960, when students all over the South started sitting-in at lunch counters. And I knew that as they were sitting in, they were really standing up for the best in the American dream, and taking the whole nation back to those great wells of democracy which were dug deep by the Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been around here in 1961, when we decided to take a ride for freedom and ended segregation in inter-state travel. If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been around here in 1962, when Negroes in Albany, Georgia, decided to straighten their backs up. And whenever men and women straighten their backs up, they are going somewhere, because a man can't ride your back unless it is bent.If I had sneezed -- If I had sneezed I wouldn't have been here in 1963, when the black people of Birmingham, Alabama, aroused the conscience of this nation, and brought into being the Civil Rights Bill.If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have had a chance later that year,in August, to try to tell America about a dream that I had had.If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been down in Selma, Alabama, to see the great Movement there. If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been in Memphis to see a community rally around those brothers and sisters who are suffering. I'm so happy that I didn't sneeze. And they were telling me --. Now, it doesn't matter, now. It really doesn't matter what happens now. I left Atlanta this morning, and as we got started on the plane, there were six of us. The pilot said over the public address system, ”We are sorry for the delay, but we have Dr. Martin Luther King on the plane. And to be sure that all of the bags were checked, and to be sure that nothing would be wrong with on the plane, we had to check out everything carefully. And we've had the plane protected and guarded all night.“And then I got into Memphis. And some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out. What would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers?Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now, because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind.Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!mlkmountaintop3.JPGAnd so I'm happy, tonight.I'm not worried about anything.I'm not fearing any man!Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!!马丁·路德·金演讲稿:我已达至峰顶(中文版部分翻译)但是我要告诉你们我的想象力给我的启示。

关于成功励志英文演讲稿
Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today and share with you some thoughts on the path to success. Success is a topic that has intrigued humanity for centuries, and it is something that we all strive for in our lives. But what exactly is success, and how do we achieve it? In this speech, I will discuss the importance of embracing challenges, the power of perseverance, and the role of self-belief in the journey towards success.Firstly, let us define what success means to us. Success is not a one-size-fits-all concept; it varies from person to person. For some, success may be measured by wealth and material possessions, while for others, it may be defined by personal growth, happiness, or the ability to make a positive impact on the world. Regardless of how we define it, one thing is certain: success requires hard work, dedication, and a willingness to face challenges head-on.Embracing challenges is the first step towards achieving success. Life is full of obstacles, and it is our response to these challenges that defines us. Many people shy away from difficulties, preferring to stay in their comfort zones. However, it is through facing and overcoming challenges that we grow, learn, and develop the resilience necessary to succeed. As Winston Churchill once said, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."Consider the story of Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb. Edison failed numerous times before he succeeded in creating a working model. He once said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 waysthat won't work." This quote beautifully illustrates the importance of embracing failure as a stepping stone to success. When we encounter setbacks, we must learn from them and use them as an opportunity to grow stronger and more determined. The power of perseverance is another crucial element in the quest for success. Perseverance is the unwavering commitment to our goals, even in the face of adversity. It is the drive that propels us forward, pushing us to overcome obstacles and persist until we achieve our desiredoutcome. Many successful individuals attribute their success to their unwavering determination and ability to keep going when others would have given up.Take the example of J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series. Rowling faced numerous rejections from publishers before she finally found a publisher for her first novel. She had to overcome financial struggles and the loss of her mother, yet she never lost sight of her dream. Today, Harry Potter is a global phenomenon, and Rowling is one of the most successful authors of all time. Her story serves as a testament to the power of perseverance.Self-belief is also a key factor in achieving success. We must believein ourselves and our abilities if we are to reach our full potential. Self-doubt can be a powerful obstacle, but it is important to recognize its presence and work to overcome it. When we believe in ourselves, we are more likely to take risks, step out of our comfort zones, and pursue our dreams with passion and determination. To build self-belief, we must set realistic goals and work towards them. It is essential to celebrate our achievements, no matter how small they may seem. Recognizing our progress and giving ourselves credit for our efforts will help us to maintain a positive mindset and stay motivated. Additionally, surrounding ourselves with supportive and positive people can greatly enhance our self-belief and give us the confidence to pursue our goals. In conclusion, the path to success is not an easy one. It requires us to embrace challenges, persevere through setbacks, and maintain self-belief. By doing so, we can unlock our potential and achieve greatness. Remember, success is not just about reaching our goals; it is about the journeyand the growth we experience along the way.Ladies and gentlemen, let us not be afraid to face the challenges thatlie ahead. Let us embrace the journey with courage, determination, and passion. Together, we can achieve success and create a brighter futurefor ourselves and those around us.Thank you for your attention, and may your path to success be filled with triumph and fulfillment.。

成功英文演讲稿篇一:关于成功的英语演讲稿1.Success, as is known, is the pursuit of many ambitious people. It requires much of a person. In my above all, one should be a person of strong perseverance. Furthermore, one needs to work hard to realize his dream just as the famous saying goes “Hard work leads to success”.Look at these around us and we’ll find diligentpeople are always the favor of our society. They usually achieve more than expected. Why do so many of our classmates of average intelligence go far ahead of others Hard work is definitely supposed to be the answer. And still, I hold that one must keep in pace with the informative world. There’s no denying that our world is changing every day. So one can never be locked alone inside his own room, doing his research work and dedicated to book knowledgeHow can an isolated person be well-informed enough to go ahead of others If so, that could be ridiculous. Success is what one desires. So long as one is perseverant, hardworking and up-to-date, I am sure success is near at hand.2.. .Success Is What? What is success This is an old topic. However,However, everyone’s understanding of success is quite different. Some people think that having money, house, car, a woman is successful. Some people think that success is doing something that you want to do. Some even deny the existence of success, he thinks this world is notsuccessful, only the endless I want to make a new definition of success: Success is something that people are very eager to do good things gained a sense of satisfaction and excitement. Therefore, we do things, no matter big and small, as long as you want to do, and through your efforts made, and you happy, then you succeeded. Do not look too far successful, they should not be too easy to see success, success requires your effort. Those who believe that successful people do not exist, in fact, continue to define new goals, they will from what they have done to get happy, they succeeded.( In order to become successful, you should first of all be both perseverance and hardworking. As you know, whatever you do, there are always two possible results: success and failure. When you fail, you should never lose heart. On the contrary, you must build up your confidence and work even harder. You should always keep in mind that perseverance is the mother of success and industry is the key to it. In addition, you should pay great attention to your work method. It is necessary for you to sum up your experience constantly and improve the efficiency of your work. Finally, it is importantfor you to get along well with your co-workers, care for each other and helpeach other. If you follow these principles, you will certainly achieve remarkable success in thefuture. In my opinion, success means achieving brilliant results in one's work, that is, making outstanding contributions to the development of the country and bringing happiness to the people. So my conclusion is that even if one has made great progress in what he does,I don’t think there’s any reasons for him tobeconceited.大学英语作文When it comes to success, different people have different opinions about what makes it come true. Some people regard hard-working as an essential quality to success while others believe being clever would lead to success. From my point of view, I think perseverance and hard-working are indispensable for those who want to make an achieveme谈到成功时,对于实现成功的原因不同的人有不同的看法。
有些人认为勤奋是成功必备的素质,而另一些人则相信聪明人会实现成功。
从我的角度来看,我认为毅力和勤奋对于那些想要成功的人是必不可少的。
Firstly, perseverance let people step closely towards success. Most people want to make a big difference to prove their value. People who set their goal and keep moving would make their dream come true. However, there are some people who set their goal but they stop at the difficulty would fail in the end. I think the difference between success and failure is perseverance. If we have perseverance, even if we are not clever, we will make a great difference, but if we not, we are doomed to lose. As we all know, Edison is a great inventor in the world. However, before he invented the bulb, he kept trying for tens of thousands of times to find a suitable wire. Let us imagine, if he gave up at the 999th, then how he couldn’t become so successful. So, I strongly believe that perseverance produces success.首先,毅力让人离成功越来越近。
