[归纳拓展]“主语＋be＋adj.＋to do ...”句式有以下特点：(1)不定式说明主语在哪些方面存在形容词所表示的特点或性质。

(2)不定式所表示的动作虽与句子的主语之间为逻辑上的被动关系，但通常以主动形式表示被动含义。

(3)如果不定式为不及物动词，则后面要有相应的介词。

(4)该句式中常用的形容词有easy, hard, difficult, comfortable, possible, pleasant, interesting, exciting, important等。

as引导的让步状语从句Incredible as it may seem, both the observations of science and the evidence of our eyes lead to the inescapable assumption ...尽管看起来不可思议，但科学观测以及我们肉眼看到的证据都必然会让我们做出一个设想……[归纳拓展]Incredible as it may seem相当于although/though it may seem incredible。

as“尽管，虽然”引导让步状语从句，此时常将表语、状语或部分谓语提到句首，构成部分倒装。

as引导让步状语从句的常见形式：1单数可数名词＋as＋主语＋be＋其他成分2形容词＋as＋主语＋be＋其他成分3副词＋as＋主语＋谓语动词＋其他成分4动词原形＋as＋主语＋助动词/情态动词＋其他成分[名师指津](1)作表语的名词提到as之前，名词前不能加冠词。

(2)though引导的让步状语从句可用倒装语序，也可用正常语序，但是although引导的让步状语从句不倒装。

consult v．商量；磋商；咨询；请教；查阅；顾及[高考佳句]To work out the difficult maths problem, I have consulted Professor Russell several times.为了解出这道数学难题，我已经向拉塞尔教授请教了好几次了。
