Unit 6 At a Farm
Lesson 1(Part A Let’s learn&Let’s play)
一、教学目标
1. 能够听、说、认读hen, sheep, cow, horse, goat, lamb及其复数形式。
2. 能够运用句型“Are they …?”的问答。
3. 通过本课的学习,使学生了解农场上常见的牲畜。
激发学生的英语学习兴趣,培养学生热爱学习的情感。
二、教学重点和难点
1. 教学重点:(1) hen, sheep, cow, horse, goat, lamb及其复数形式。
(2) 句型“Are they …?”的问答。
2. 教学难点:horse,sheep,goat的复数形式表达及发音。
三、教具准备
1. 多媒体课件。
2. 动物卡片。
3. 头饰。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up / Revision 热身/复习
1. Greetings
T: Good afternoon. Today I’m your new English teacher. I want to be your friends. I’m Miss Shou. What's your name? / How are you? / Nice to meet you.
T: What’s the weather like today? Is it sunny? What a nice day!
Let’s go to Old MacDonald’s farm, OK?
2. Enjoy and sing the song "Old MacDonald".
Step 2 Presentation 呈现新课
1. What can you see on the farm?
2. Learn the new words
(1) Look, what’s this? It’s a chick. And what’s this? It’s a hen. Learn “hen” (板书)
What are they? They are hens. Learn “ hens”
图片 Are they hens? Yes, they are.
(2) 喜羊羊 is a goat. 喜羊羊、美羊羊、沸羊羊 They are goats.
(3) (Sound) What’s this? It’s a sheep. They are sheep.
One sheep, two sheep, they are sheep.
4) Look, what’s this? It’s a lamb. Are they lambs? Yes, they are. (
(5) Goats and sheep are on the farm. Listen, who comes? (Sound)
It’s a horse.
They are horses. Horse, horses, they are horses.
Are they horses? Yes, they are.

(6) Let’s make a puzzle. Guess! What’s this: It’s black and white. It gives us milk.
What’s it? It’s a cow. They are cows. Cow, cows, they are cows.
(7) Review the new words: Are they …? How many … can you see? 3. Let’s chant : Imitate and say
Hen, hens, they are hens. (声音模仿)
Goat, goats, they are goats.
Sheep, sheep, they are sheep.
Lamb, lambs, they are lambs.
Horse, horses, they are horses.
Cow, cows, they are cows.
4. Guessing game:
看PTT图片猜测动物Are they…? Yes, they are. /No, they aren’t.
Step 3 Extension 拓展
1. T: Now look, who come to the farm? 灰太狼红太狼 and their baby
2. Listen to the record and understand the dialogue.
3. Read after the dialogue. Then read the dialogue together.
4. Act out the dialogue.
小:Dad, Dad, I’m hungry! Mom, Mom, I’m hungry!
红:Let’s go to the farm!
小:Look, Dad! Are they cows?
灰:Yes, they are.
小:Let’s drink some milk!
灰&小:Oh, no!
小: Look, Mom! Are they hens? 红:Yes, they are.
小:Let’s have some chicken!
红&小:Oh, no!
灰: Look, darling! Are they sheep? 红:No, they aren’t. They are goats.
灰: Let’s eat!
灰&红: Oh, no!
Step 4 Homework 作业
Draw some animals, and let your partner guess: Are they…?

教学反思:
转眼一个学年的试用期临近尾声,这是我在新教师课堂教学汇报展示活动中上的一堂公开课,也是我第一次在一个陌生的班级开课。
刚接到通知时,我便开始着手准备,之后又经过三次试教,师傅的指点改进。
充分的准备,使我更加自信和顺利地完成了本堂课的教学任务,实现预计的教学目标。
教学内容结合了声音、图片的呈现方式,游戏和歌谣模仿声音的操练形式又设计了以学生喜爱的动画片《喜羊羊和灰太狼》为背景的对话操练,充分激发了学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性。
在对话学习中采用了戴头饰进行对话表演,较好地满足了学生好奇、好玩的特性和表演的欲望,通过玩中学、学中演、演中巩固,最大限度地掌握和运用了知识。
当然本堂课也存在一些不足之处,有待今后进一步改进:在词汇教学中,要注意学生个体的操练。
可教授两三个新词后进行一轮小操练,小操练形式可多样化,减少跟读的机械操练形式。
其次,在一个陌生的班级开课之前最好能尽量提早与学生多沟通交流,让学生有个熟悉老师的过程,这样有利于之后课堂活动的开展,活跃课堂气氛,有利于培养师生之间的默契。
