1．of course/sure/certainly的用法

三者都意为“当然；当然可以”，常用来回答对方的请求或作出肯定的回答。如：

—May I use your ruler？我能用你的尺子吗？

—Of course.当然可以。

2．myself和yourself的用法

两者都是反身代词。当句子的主语与宾语一致时，宾语用反身代词。反身代词还有himself，herself，itself，ourselves，yourselves，themselves。

3．seem的用法

seem作动词，意为“好像；似乎；看来”。

(1)seem to do sth.意为“似乎要做某事”。如：

The children seemed to be eating something in the room. 孩子们好像正在房间里吃东西呢。

(2)seem＋adj./seem to be＋adj.意为“好像……”，如：

Mr.Black seemed to be quite happy.布莱克先生好像十分快乐。

(3)It seems that…意为“似乎/好像……”，有时可与seem to do sth.相互转换。如：

It seems to me that he has known everything. 在我看来他似乎什么事情都知道了。

4．辨析bored与boring

bored 作形容词，意为“厌倦的；烦闷的”。boring作形容词，意为“令人厌烦的”。bored通常用来形容人，boring通常用来形容物。如：

She's bored with her parents' quarrel.她对父母的争吵感到厌倦。

His talk is deadly boring.他的话真是让人烦死了！
