1教学目标

Teaching aims:

1. Be able to master words:

学会运用单词snow, rain, sunny, hot, cold, warm, windy等表示天气的单词。

2. Be able to understand and use:

句型It will snow in Harbin.等描述天气的语句;运用句型I’m going to watch TV.表述自己的计划。

2学情分析

本节课面对的是六年级的学生,本班共有学生9人,其中男生6人,女生3人,学生的听课习惯已初步养成,并且班上同学思想比较要求上进,有部分学生学习态度端正学习能力强,学习有方法,学习兴趣浓厚。他们在有一定的英语基础的情况下,能够大胆的,主动地表达他们已知的英语句子,本节课关于天气的词,已经在五年级的时候学习过,他们在复习之前天气的词语上,学会运用新的句型will, will be...。

3重点难点

Key points:

学会运用单词snow, rain, sunny, hot, cold, warm, windy等表示天气的单词。

Difficult points:

句型It will snow in Harbin.等描述天气的语句;运用句型I’m going to watch TV.表述自己的计划。

4教学过程

Step 1: Warming up and lead-in

T: Hello, boys and gi rls. It’s sunny today, and I’m very happy to see you again. Please enjoy yourself. Let’s play a game. “Listen and point” First, please help me put the cards on the wall. Now, listen carefully. It will snow.\It will be sunny and hot.…

Step 2: Presentation:

1. Listen and compare.

T: Now, please listen carefully. And find the difference. Which word is used after ‘It will...’ and which is used after ‘Itwill be…’

2. Point and say.

T: Listen again, then put the weather cards on the map. I will ask some students to tell us what the weather will be like tomorrow.

教师将事先准备的中国地图贴在黑板上,让学生再听一遍录音,将天气符号贴到对应的城市位置。之后请学生模仿天气预报

Step 3: Practice

1、Where am I?

T: Let’s do p air wo rk. Look at Part 3.It’s going to snow tomorrow. Where am I?

S: You are in Harbin.

T: That’s right.

学生两人之间进行简单的对话练习。一人描述天气情况,另一人猜其所在城市。教师可先与学生进行示范练习。

2、Learn the chant.

1) Listen and answer.

T: Look at Part 4 please. Look at the pictures and listen to the tape carefully. Then answer my questions.

(1)What is the girl going to do today?

(2)What is the girl going to do this afternoon?

教师先让学生仔细观察一下图画,然后听录音回答问题。

2) Listen and say.

T: There are two groups. One group is the girl, the othergroup is the mother.

将学生分为两组,分角色朗读。

用所给词的适当形式填空。
