Aims(目的):

Step 1 Sing English songs.

Procedure (过程):
Step 1 Singing English songs they have learned.
Step 2 Introduce family words
1) Show a picture to the students. Say This is my family. Can you guess
who this is ? Get the students to understand that a family can include
a mother, a father, brothers and sisters. And the extended family also
include a grandmother, a grandfather, aunts and uncles. Learn the new
words.
2) T: Now, I want to know your family. Can you draw a picture of your family
now? And then introduce your family to us. OK?
3) Ask the children to hold up their completed pictures and say This is
my family. And this is my father, my mother,… and me.
Step 3 Model the dialog
1)Hold up the mask of Ann, say This is my brother. Have the children repeat
the sentence .
2)Repeat the procedure a few more times with other children.
Step 4 Talk about the story
T: Open your books. Let’s go throu gh the pictures on pages 38 and OK?
Then ask some questions according the pictures.

Student Book pages 38 and 39
1)Play the tape. Have the children look at the pictures as the tape is
played.
2)Play the tape again. Have the children repeat the sentences.
3)Practice in groups.
4)Act out the story as a game between groups.
