The anaerobic fermentation treatment process of kitchen wasteprises of three main stages: pretreatment, fermentation, and post-treatment. During the pretreatment phase, the kitchen waste undergoes initial sorting to eliminate non-biodegradable materials such as plastics, glass, and metals. Subsequently, the waste is subjected to shredding in order to reduce its size and increase the surface area available for microbial action. Following the pretreatment stage, the waste is then advanced to the fermentation stage for further processing.

So, when we're fermenting kitchen waste, we basically put it in a sealed container or digester where there's no oxygen. This creates the perfect environment for tiny microorganisms that don't need oxygen to survive. They do their thing and break down the waste, making biogas as a byproduct. This whole process takes a few weeks, and we gotta keep an eye on the temperature, moisture, and pH levels to make sure the
microorganisms are happy and making plenty of biogas.

Following thepletion of the fermentation stage, the subsequent post-treatment involves the application of various techniques to further process the fermented kitchen waste and the resulting biogas. The fermented waste is repurposed as a high-quality organic fertilizer, contributing to the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. Concurrently, the biogas is subjected to purification processes, enabling its utilization as a renewable energy source for cooking, heating, and electricity generation. The residual digested slurry undergoes additional processing to extract nutrients for agricultural utilization or for other industrial applications. The anaerobic fermentation treatment of kitchen waste is in line with ourmitment to sustainable waste management and resource recovery, aligning with our political stance on environmental conservation and renewable energy development.
