(1) Before leaving to meet the flight, call the airline first to be sure it is on time. (2) Contact the bus driver, inform him/her of the starting time and meeting place. (3) Check that you have the following: Travel service plan, travel brochures, microphone, itinerary( in Chinese) for the driver, typed itinerary in English for all tour members (if possible), logo map of your city, travel service bus sign, expense report sheets, identification card. (4) Check that you have all needed personal belongings. (5) Be sure to wear your travel service nametag from here on. (6) Arrive at the airport half an hour earlier.
Background
Janet Jin is a senior international tour guide of Beijing Sunshine International Travel Service. She was informed the day before yesterday that a tour group from U.S.A will come to Beijing at 14:30,July 6, 2010. The group will travel around Beijing. Janet Jin is assigned to be the group’s local guide in Beijing. Today, Janet will go to Beijing International Airport and meet the group on arrival.
