Period1(Section A 1a---2e)教学设计
一:教材分析
本单元主要是以购物话题为主线,围绕着谈论服装,询问价格以及购物时使用的礼貌用语等展开的一系列活动。
二:学情分析
初一的学生通过几个月的学习,已经具备基本的英语学习技能,听、说、读、写能力已经基本形成,并且通过小学的英语学习,对相关数字1-30的认识也有了一定的基础,并且词汇量有了初步积累,已初步具备用How much is/are…?来询问物品价格的能力,同时也能对物品的各种特征进行谈论。
这为本节课“商品购物”这一功能项目的学习创造了有利的条件。
在本节课,我将主要训练学生的听、说能力,在掌握句型的基础上展开话题并组织活动应该是很容易的.
三:教学目标
1知识目标:
(1)学习并掌握以下词汇socks/ T-shirt /shorts /sweater/ shoes/ skirt /trousers 询问价格的句型 How much is ...? ----It's ....
How much are ...? ----They're ....
(2)掌握谈论价格的交际用语:
--How much is this T-shirt? --It’s seven dollars.
--How much are these socks? -- They’re two dollars.
--Can I help you ?-- Yes, please.
2 能力目标:通过学习能够询问价格和正确回答. 通过核心任务的完成,使学生用英语进行购物、交流。
学会选择自己喜爱、需要的物品、讨论其特征。
3.情感态度价值观:通过模拟真实购物,灵活运用知识,引导学生学会为他人提供帮助,形成正确的理财观念,使学生养成勤俭节约,不乱花钱的好习惯。
树立正确的买卖观念,从而服务于现实生活。
四:教学重难点
1 重点:掌握一些服装类的词汇以及询问价格的基本句型。
2 难点:How much 引导的句型中的主谓数的一致以及回答时价格的正确表达。
五:教学方法:图片教学法,情景教学法, 小组合作表演。
六:教学过程:
Step 1: Warming up and leading-in
Leading-into the new lesson by watching a video----How much is that doggy in the window? 上课之前先播放有关购物的教学视频已达到活跃课堂气氛激发学生的兴趣。
设计思路:通过谈论卡通片有关购物视频话题,一面拉近了师生之间的距离,另一方面体现了本课教学的内容,激发了学生的学习兴趣,为下一环节做好铺垫。
Today ,we are going to learn Unit 10---How much are these socks? ( 板书)
Step2: Presentation
Task one: clothes to sell
T: Do you like the cartoon?
Ss: Yes!
T: Ok,I’ve got a question to ask you .Does the boy like the doggy ?
Ss: No, he doesn’t have enough mo ney.
T:Yes ,if you want to go shopping ,we need money, right ?
Ss:Yes
T;You see, I`ve some money. What`s this in English ? (实物展示美元形象直观)
Ss: It’s a dollar .
T:How about this one ?
Ss: It`s 20 dollars.(板书dollar并强调其复数形式)
T:Do you like money ?We can buy things we like right ?
Ss: Yes, we can buy ……… new clothes.
T: Correct ! I think you are very lucky ,because you have beautiful clothes to wear.Class, look at them. Do they have any clothes to wear ? (接着通过PPT呈现出来一些贫困孩子的照片,) T: They have no clothes,no money , and even sometimes they have no food.I really want to help them. Do you want to help them ?
Ss: Yes , we can give them some clothes , some food , some money………
T: Nice ! I want to have a charity store , and today I want to sell clothes . Can you help me to set up my charity store ?So, task one for you , what clothes can we sell ?
Ss: socks, sweaters ……… .
T: Thank you ! This is my store. Now let`s see , what`s in my store ?通过用已学句型What's this/that?---It's a ..../ What're these/those?---They're ....来提问教新单词。
呈现图片时注意先单数名词(hat/T-shirt/bag/jacket/skirt/sweater)后复数词 (shoes/socks/trousers/shorts/) 的顺序。
边提问边练习一些元音字母及字母组合的发音, 然后带读。
重点强调 (shoes/socks/trousers/shorts/)通常要用名词复数。
设计思路:本环节通过任务型教学的展开,让学生参与到帮助老师成立义卖店,来帮助那些贫困的孩子,给老师提供建议卖哪些衣服,提高了同学们参与课堂的热情,同时也通过头脑风暴的方式,检查了学生预习情况,并学习巩固了新单词。
既培养了学生的思维能力,给预习的学生提供展示的机会,也在一定的情境中呈现本课的重点词汇.
Task two : Give prices
Well, class thank you ,with your help, I` ve got so many clothes to sell, so, next class, how much are they ? That means we need to give the prices for all the clothes in my store , right ? Let`s see the first one. How much is the sweater ? It`s ………dollars .And how about this one how to ask the question? Yes. How much are the trousers ? They are ……… dollars.同时在黑板的中间位置板书出重点句型,并强调主谓数的一致以及回答时价格的正确表达, 并采用了四张图片进行操练(boys ask and girls answer),接下来是work in pairs ,出示PPT中的图片让学生就图片中的衣服以及价格用所学重点句型进行问答,让学生学会怎样谈论价格.
设计思路:通过work in pairs 的形式开展两两对话让学生在真实的情景中使用所学知识,对目标语言进行了练习巩固,培养了学生的口语能力。
Task three : Good salesperson : 2e
Well class, We` ve got the clothes to sell, and we have the prices, then next who can sell the clothes , yes ,correct ! the salesperson ! Do you want to be a good salesboy or a salesgirl? Now let`s read 2e to see how to be a good salesperson, if the woman is a good salesperson.
Listen and answer the questions.
1. What does Mary buy ?
2.How much are the yellow socks?
引导学生总结How to be a good salesperson(销售员)? 询问价格以及购物时要使用礼貌用语。
培养学生的良好品质
Step3: Practice :Work in groups(小组合作)
Suppose(假设) that one of the students in your group is the owner(主人) of a school things
store ,or a bookstore ,and the other three are the customers ,role play the conversation using your own things in your group .
Sample:
Salesperson :Can I help you?/ What can I do for you ?
customer: Yes, please. I need a /some …….
Salesperson: How about ……… ?
customer :How much is it ?/ How much are they?
Salesperson: It`s ………dollars./ They are ………dollars.
customer : I`ll take it./ I`ll take them.
Salesperson : Here you are.
customer : Thank you.
Salesperson : You`re welcome.
Salesperson: How about you?Can I help you ?.........
设计思路:通过创设情境,运用实物进行购物对话训练,让学生用自己身边的物品,对所学目标语言通过“购物”的形式,对本节课所学知识进行了巩固提升。
也是对目标语言进行创新和升华的过程,使语言输入变为输出,使本节课学习进入了高级语言实践阶段,激发了同学们的学习兴趣,提高了学生的语言交际运用能力及生活实际运用能力。
使学生在轻松愉快的环境下,体会到成功的喜悦,使课堂气氛再次高涨。
Step4: 1a---Match the words with the things and the pictures.
(由于前几个环节对重点单词进行了学习,所以此环节对同学们来说比较容易)
Step5: 1b--listen and circle the things you hear in the picture in 1a.
Step6: 2a Listen and repeat.
Step7: 2b Listen to the conversations and circle the things you hear.
T: Class, look at the picture ,what can you see in the picture? And what color are they ?
S: I can see……….They are ……….. .
T: Yes, you can look at the pictures before listening, and guess what you will listen.
Step8:2c Listen again. Fill in the price tags.
T: Class, the price is usually given right after someone asks a question .So listen carefully after you hear “How much is it ?”or “How much are they?”
设计思路:听前的预设降低了听力的难度,渗透听力技巧,同时通过模音培养学生更好的
语言素质和听音习惯。
Step9 :Exercises:
I.Fill in the blanks according to the pictures given.根据句意及图片提示,用适当的单词填空,使句子完整、通顺。

— Yes, I do. .
3— Who is the ______ in red? — Oh, she is our English teacher.

设计思路:通过填写本课的重点词汇,一方面巩固了本课的重点词汇,同时将知识落实到
笔头,突破本课词汇教学的难点。
Step10: Summary(小结)
What have we learned in this class?

Clothing words : (衣服名称)
T-shirt,hat,sweater, skirt, trousers,shorts ,socks, shoes….
Sentences : (询问价格)
How much is the …? It’s…dollars.
How much are the …? They’re…dollars.
Class ,many things have prices ,actually the best things in life are free(免费的),smile(微笑),friends, love, family and health(健康). Money(金钱)is not everything(一切). On the other hand ,mother always tells us ,it’s not easy to make money. We should save(节约)money, and help those people who really need help(帮助需要帮助的人).
Always remember giving(给予) is receiving(收获).That means if you help others, you are just helping yourself!
设计思路:教育孩子对金钱有个正确的认识,树立正确的价值观,懂得爱护和关心他人。
使学生养成勤俭节约,不乱花钱的好习惯. 树立正确的买卖观念,从而服务于现实生活。
七:作业
1.Find the beauty,share the beauty.
Do a survey by asking “How much is /are ….”to find some good things ,then write a short report to share your ideas.
2. Practice makes perfect !
Recite the dialogue in 2e and try to make your own dialoue.
