方法
(1)通过多媒体课件展示图片,创设情境,让学生对各种天气有个感性的认识
(2)通过同伴之间编写、演练对话来锻炼句型和巩固新单词。(3)通过听听力材料并记录所听到的信息来巩固单词和句型,顺便锻炼学生的拼写。
(4)通过卡片游戏来复习巩固本节课的内容
(5)通过设置“weather forecast”这一活动,来应用本节课所学知识。
Step2. Presentation
1. After talking about the local weather in 4 seasons, let’s watch different weather in other countries. Tell Ss Maria is in Mexico. Play this phone conversation between Sam and Maria. Listen carefully to their questions and answers. Play the tape the first time, Ss only listen. Play the tape again and have Ss catch the answers Maria and Sam give to the question How’s it going? Listen again andwrite what they answer to What are you doing? and How’s the weather?
2. Get Ss to look at Picture C .Tell them: It’s Chengdu. How is the weather in it? It’s sunny. Is it cool? No, it’s hot. It’s hot and humid.
3. Make a survey by the whole class. Ask Ss: Who likes the cold weather? Have Ss raise their hands. Check out the most popular and the least popular weather. Get Ss to talk about the local weather in 4 seasons.
