演讲稿你为什么喜欢音乐英语作文
Why I Love Music
Music is the best thing ever! I love singing, dancing, and just listening to all kinds of music. It makes me feel so happy and energized. I've loved music for as long as I can remember.
When I was a little baby, my mom and dad used to sing lullabies to help me fall asleep. I'm sure even back then the melodies and their soothing voices relaxed me. As I got a bit older, they played kids' songs in the car during our family road trips. My brother and I would shout out the words at the top of our lungs, not caring at all that we sounded terribly off-key. Singing along was just pure fun!
In preschool, we had music time every week where we learned simple songs with hand motions and danced around shaking shakers or banging little drums. I looked forward to those music classes so much. Our wonderful teacher Mrs. Martin taught us classics like "The Wheels on the Bus" and "If You're Happy and You Know It". Whenever I hear those songs now, it brings back such joyful memories.
When I started elementary school, I joined the after-school chorus. It was the first time I started reading music and really
learning how to use my voice properly. Our chorus teacher Mrs. Powell was very strict, but also supportive and encouraging. She pushed us to work hard so we could put on great performances.
I'll never forget the proud feeling of standing on the risers on stage wearing my crisp white shirt and singing my heart out with all my friends. The applause from the audience filled me with an indescribable sense of accomplishment and euphoria. Music had the power to make me feel so confident and alive!
In third grade, I started taking piano lessons. At first, I found it really challenging reading the notes, keeping time, and coordinating my hands. My parents had to constantly remind me to practice every day after school. But slowly, it clicked into place and I could play simple songs flawlessly. There's no better feeling than mastering a new piece of music you've worked so hard on.
Now that I'm in fifth grade, I participate in our school musical every year. This year, I had a solo dance number and sang a verse of one of the big group numbers. I've never been more nervous in my life than I was in those few minutes on stage. But as soon as the music started, the nerves melted away and I got swept up in the sheer joy of performing. The audience's cheers and applause at the end made all the hard months of rehearsal worth it.
Music is powerful. It can make you feel so many different emotions - happy, sad, energetic, calm, nostalgic, hopeful. When I'm doing homework and feeling frustrated, putting on some upbeat pop songs instantly boosts my mood and motivation. If I've had a tough day at school, listening to softer, sadder music while I draw or write in my journal helps me process my feelings in a comforting way.
My favorite artist right now is probably Taylor Swift. Her lyrics are so relatable and get to the heart of common experiences like falling in love, dealing with mean friends, chasing your dreams, and believing in yourself. I've been a huge fan ever since my older cousin gave me tickets to see her in concert for my birthday a couple years ago. That was hands down the best night of my life! The electricity in the crowd, singing along with tens of thousands of other fans, watching in awe as Taylor commanded the stage like a pro - it gave me an irreplaceable memory I'll cherish forever.
In the future, I hope I can keep pursuing music in some capacity, even if it's just for fun after school activities and not as an actual career. I want to learn guitar next so I can write my own songs. And maybe after accompanying on piano for a few years,
I'll try out for the jazz band in high school. College marching bands look like such an incredible experience too.
Even if I don't become a professional musician, music will always be a huge part of my life. It's a constant source of happiness, self-expression, and stress relief. Listening to uplifting songs gets me through hard times. Playing an instrument or singing with friends is an instant mood-booster. And seeing live music creates permanent joyful memories. I can't imagine my world without music filling it. I'll always love music!。
