教学目标
1. To learn to describe the colours of a person’s clothes and the meanings.
2. To write a report on the relationship between the colours and moods.
教学内容及过程
Teaching procedures
Step1:Lead-in
Look at the pictures and tell the colours, then tell their feelings.
(To review the colours and the meanings of them)
Step2. presentation
1.Present the picture of the woman in the book. Ask the students to describe her clothes and the meanings of the colours. Then discuss why she is wearing these colours.
2. Read the passage and finish the report. Then check the answer.
Explain the sentence: Red and white are a good match, as the strong red balances the calm white!
3. Summarize the structure of the passage.
Step3:Pre-writing
1.Work in groups to talk about the girl in the picture of Part B, including what she is wearing,
the colours and meanings, your feelings while watching her.
2.Present your group ideas and discuss if it is a good advertisement.
Step3:Writing
Finish writing about the other advertisement.
Step4:Present and perfect the composition.
Present a student’s composition and give it proper marks according to the standard. Then perfect your own composition.
Step5:Homework
Recite the sample writing.。
