As an English teacher in a primary school, I am pleased to present the mid-term progress report for our students learning English. Over the past few months, we have seen significant growth and improvement in the students' language skills, and I am excited to share some of the key highlights from our program.
One of the most notable achievements has been the steady progress in the students' vocabulary development. Through a combination of engaging lessons, interactive activities, and regular practice, our students have expanded their knowledge of core English words and phrases. They are now able to participate more actively in classroom discussions, demonstrate better comprehension of reading materials, and express themselves more fluently in both spoken and written tasks.

feedback, our students have gradually internalized these grammatical concepts and are applying them more accurately in their language production.
Listening and speaking skills have also been a key area of emphasis in our English program. We have incorporated a variety of listening activities, from audio recordings and video presentations to conversations and role-plays, to help students develop their ability to comprehend spoken English and respond appropriately. Many students have gained confidence in their speaking abilities and are now more willing to engage in spontaneous dialogues and express their thoughts and ideas in English.
Reading and writing skills have been another crucial focus of our curriculum. Students have been exposed to a diverse range of reading materials, from short stories and informative texts to poetry and literature excerpts. Through these reading experiences, they have improved their comprehension, interpretation, and analytical skills. In the writing component, students have been given opportunities to practice different genres, such as narratives, descriptive essays, and persuasive arguments, and have demonstrated growth in their ability to organize their thoughts, develop their ideas, and communicate effectively in written form.
Throughout the learning process, we have placed a strong emphasis
on fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment. By encouraging active participation, providing constructive feedback, and celebrating small successes, we have helped our students develop a growth mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for learning English. Many students have expressed a newfound confidence in their language abilities and a deeper appreciation for the cultural and communicative aspects of the English language.
In addition to the academic progress, we have also witnessed the development of important soft skills, such as collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking, as our students engage in various group activities and project-based learning experiences. These skills not only enhance their language proficiency but also prepare them for future academic and professional challenges.
As we move forward, our English program will continue to build on these successes and further refine our teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students. We will explore more innovative teaching methods, incorporate the latest educational technologies, and collaborate with other subject teachers to create a more integrated and holistic learning experience.
One of our key priorities will be to strengthen the connection between the classroom and the real world, by providing opportunities for students to apply their English skills in authentic

Furthermore, we will continue to emphasize the importance of cultural awareness and global perspectives in our English curriculum.
