二Understanding of the langu age points
1．tell sb. about意思为“告诉某人关于…”，about 是介词，后面跟n.或人称代词宾格形式。

e.g: I want to tell you about my school.我想告诉你关于我的学校的情况。

意思为“告诉某人（不要）做某事”
e.g: My father always tells me in the street.
我爸爸一直告诉我不要在大街上玩。

2．have short hair 留着短发
e.g: She has short hair. (short 是adj. 后跟n. 作定语)
= Her hair is short. (short是adj.用于系动词后作表语)
3．one of my best friends 我最好的朋友之一
one of (+ adj. 最高级) +
e.g: One of the teachers is my aunt. Peter is one of the tallest boys in his class. 4．ready:词性：adj.
(1) 词义：准备好的短语：
(2) 词义：乐意的短语：=be willing to do sth. 乐意做某事
5．want to be 想成为want 意为“想要”，不用将来时。

named意为“名叫…的”，作后置定语，还可用called, with the name of来替换。

e.g: 我有一条叫旺财的狗。
