Functional description
This application program enables the time signal (date and time), received from the DCF 77 interface of the timemaster AP 391, to be sent on the bus. There is an object available each for date and time. It is possible to parameterise the sending cycle for the date/time tele-grams independently.
If the time signal is received without a fault, the DCF synchronisation occurs in the timemaster approx. 2-3 minutes after initialisation. The DCF 77 signal is avail-able and can if required be sent in selectable time inter-vals on the bus. If the DCF 77 time signal fails or is inter-rupted, the telegrams are sent via the device’s internal quartz timer.
The reserve power guarantees that the date and time are maintained should the bus voltage fail. If the bus voltage recovers while the reserve power is still avail-able, the telegrams for date and time are sent after a delay of 1 minute. If however the bus voltage recovery occurs when the reserve power has been exhausted, a synchronisation process takes place before the tele-grams can be sent.
