There be句型
There be句型表示某处存在某(物)人。

基本结构为“There be +某物(某人)+某地(某时)”。

be包括is和are,其中单数用is,复数用are.
例：There is a ruler on the desk. 书桌上有一把尺。

There are four apples on the table. 餐桌上有4个苹果。

注意：there be句型遵循“就近原则”，即只要看到be动词后面的词是复数名词，就用are，否则就用is。

例：There is a ruler and two books on the desk. 书桌上有一把尺子和两本书。

There are two cats and a dog under the tree. 树下有两只猫和一只狗。

巧记there be句型的“口诀”
There be句型不一般，主语跟在be后面；
be可变为is/are，there永远不变化；
单数主语用is，复数主语要用are。
