Good morning,everyone.It is my turn to make the presentation,today my topic is The Introduction of Mahjong. [ma:'dʒɔŋ]
As we all known,Mahjong is one of the most popular games in China.Now,Let’s learn more about this fascinating game together.
First of all, I want to talk about the the origin of mahjong.From the baidu or other webs ,I find there are different opinions about the origin of mahjong and at the same times I find different places have different names and shapes.But we can be sure that it is originated in ancient China and it is invented by Han nationality long long ago.
What’s more,it is turn to introduce the characteristic in general.its shape is usually rectangle and there are different signs on the rectangle,such as ,some are words,some are picture and so on. In addition there are 136 cards in all .
The important and complicated things is the playing rule ,no matter from the searching or my own experiences, I know different places have the different
rules,even in the same place there are many kinds of the playing rules.But the most palying rule is often depended on the area and the most common form of mahjong is that played by four players.
Mahjong involves skill, strategy and calculation, as well as a certain degree of luck .Some peope ,especial the old people spend their time palying the game to enjoy themselves. However,mahjong is also popularly played as a gambling game.
