辨析: worthwhile/worth/worthy
worthwhile 可以作定语或表语;作表语时,可后接动名词或动词不定式(作主语),此时前面用it作形式主语
worth 作表语时,不可单独使用,后接名词、代词或动名词,而不接不定式。

此时的动名词用主动形式表示被动意义
worthy 作表语时后可直接接不定式;但必须接of后,才能接名词或动名词
应用: 用worth, worthy或worthwhile填空

解析:选C。

考查对现在的虚拟。

二、should (not) have done 表虚拟语气,意为“本该做某事\本不该做某事”
should have done 表示过去应该做的事情却没有做,常含有后悔、责备、埋怨的口气,常译作“本应当……”“应当……就好了”。

shouldn’t have done 表示过去不该做的事却做了。

也常含有责备、不满的意思,常译作“本不应该……”
e.g.
With all the work finished, I should have gone to the party last night.
昨天晚上当所有的工作完成之后,我本应该去参加聚会的。

You should not have gone back to work yesterda y without the doctor’s permission.
你昨天没有得到医生的允许,本不应该回去工作的。
