Unit 4 What Can You Do?
第一课时
一、教学目标与要求：
1、掌握四会词组：water the flowers, clean the bedroom, sweep the floor, cook the meals, empty the trash.
2、能够听、说、认读动词词组empty the trash和句型：I’m helpful.I can….
3、培养学生热爱劳动的观念，增强学生生活自理能力。

二、教学重、难点：
1、教学重点：有关家务劳动的五个动词词组
2、教学难点：正确书写四个四会动词词组及运用句型“I can….”进行表述
三、教具准备：
录音机、磁带、图片及Let’s learn部分的动作词卡
四、教学建议：
Step 1: Warm up＆ Revision
1、师生对话:
T: Good morning.
Ss: Good morning.
T: What day is it today?
Ss: I t’s Thursday.∕Today is Thursday.
T: What day is it tomorrow?
Ss: It’s Friday.∕Tomorrow is Friday.
2、听写几个四会单词:
eggplant fish green beans tofu potato tomato
Step 2: Presentation
1、教师在黑板上画盆花（或出示图片）
T: I can draw flowers.
教师边做浇花的动作边说：Look！I can water the flowers. I am helpful.同时板书：I am helpful！I can water the flowers.
T: Can you? 引导学生作答。

教师指导学生拼读water和flower
2、教师边做擦桌椅的动作边说：
I can clean the desk. I can clean the chair.
教师指导学生练习：I can clean th e….
教师出示“clean th e bedroom”词卡
T: I can clean the bedroom
教学“clean the bedroom”板书并拼读
3、教师出示图片，依次教学并板书：sweep the floor ,cook the meals,
empty the trash
4、教师出示动作词卡，学生认读
5、播放录音，让学生跟读。

Step 3: Practice
活动一：“开火车”操练动词词组
活动二：动作猜谜
过程：教师准备各词组卡片，请一名学生上来，教师出示卡片，此学生做动作，其他学生猜。

活动三：听听做做
过程：教师说短语，全体学生做动作。

（或个别学生发指令，其他学生做动作）
Step 4: Consolidation and extension
1、教师示范书写：water the flowers, clean the bedroom, sweep the floor,
cook the meals, empty the trash. 学生仿写。

2、让学生每天在家里做适量的家务劳动并尝试用英语表达。
