(2)a little＋名词＝a bit of＋名词，如： There's only a little meat / a bit of meat in the fridge. 冰箱里只有一点点肉了。

【点拨】finish是及物动词，意为“完成”，其后 跟名词、代词或动名词作宾语。如： ①When does he finish his college course? 他何时大学毕业？ ②He finished reading the book before supper. 晚饭前他把这本书看完了。
这首歌让我想起了我的农村生活。
(2)remind sb. to do sth. 意为“提醒某人做某事”。
如：
Please remind me to finish my work. 请提醒我完成工作。
4．You have different opinions about the story, and neither of you are wrong. 对于这个故事，你们有不同的观点，并且你们两 人都是对的。 【点拨】neither作副词，意为“也不”。“neither ＋be动词(助动词或情态动词)＋主语”表示前面所述 否定内容也适用于另一个人或物。此时也可用nor替 换。如：

【延伸】(1)a little＋形容词＝a bit＋形容词＝a little bit＋形容词，如： The man felt a little / a bit / a little bit angry when he heard the bad news.

3．This story reminds us that you can never know what's possible unless you try to make it happen. 这个故事提醒我们你永远不能知道什么是可能的，
除非你努力让它发生。
【点拨】remind sb.＋从句，意为“提醒某人……；
使某人想起……”。如：
The lesson reminds us that we should try our best until the last minute. 这教训告诉我们应该坚持到最后一刻。
【延伸】(1)remind sb. of/about sth. 意为“使某人 想起某事”。如： This song reminds me of my country life.
I was moved by the sad story.
我被这个悲伤的故事感动了。
【延伸】moving是形容词，意为“感动人的；使 人同情的”，在句中作定语或表语。如： ①The movie is moving.
这部电影是感人的。
②I'm moved by the moving movie.
我被这部感人的电影感动了。
【延伸】与finish一样，在与动词连用时，只能用动 名词作宾语的常见动词短语有： enjoy doing sth. 喜爱做某事 keep (on) doing sth. 继续/一直做某事 be busy doing sth. 忙于做某事 feel like doing sth. 想要做某事 can't help doing sth. 禁不住做某事 practice doing sth. 练习做某事 mind doing sth. 介意做某事 have fun/problems doing sth. 高兴做某事/做某事有困难 look forward to doing sth. 盼望做某事 be used to doing sth. 习惯于做某事
