This type of writing, often referred to as expository or informative writing, is designed to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of a subject matter. It may involve explaining complex concepts, analyzing data, or presenting research findings. Effective informative writing requires a deep understanding of the topic and the ability to organize information in a logical and coherent manner.Another common purpose of writing is to persuade readers to adopt a particular perspective or take a specific course of action. This typeof writing, known as persuasive or argumentative writing, involves constructing a well-reasoned argument that is supported by evidence. Persuasive writing often requires the writer to anticipate and address counterarguments, and to use rhetorical devices such as appeals to logic, emotion, or ethics to sway the reader's opinion. In addition to informative and persuasive writing, there are also other forms of writing that serve different purposes. Whether it is used to inform, persuade, or entertain, effective writing is a powerful tool for communication and can have a significant impact on the way in which individuals and organizations interact with one another. By developing and honing their writing skills, individuals can improve their ability to express their ideas, share their knowledge, and influence the world around them.。

Sample Writing-Spelling

Sample writingDue Attention Should Be Given To Spelling Now we are entering a brand new era full of opportunities and innovations, and great changes have taken place in people's attitude towards some traditional practice, especially in the area of English learning , one of which is less attention has been given to spelling by college students . This issue has been brought into public focus and called for further concern.A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following are the most critical ones. First, information is expanding at such an increasing rate that our society is called the one of information. The information is so immense that students haven' t ample energy and time to deal deeply with spelling, and some computer programs, such as word ,have done the spelling checking work for us . Second, the standardized-test oriented way of English learning, in which the high score can be achieved without spelling, put students to the position in which they have the sound reason to ignore spelling. This issue may lead to a number of unfavorable consequences, with the following two as the most serious. For one thing, the information would be incorrect when conveyed by hand- writing way and cause some bad effects. For another, we may indulge ourselves in this way of inaccuracy which may influence our attitude of learning or research. Theawareness of the importance of this issue should be enhanced and some proper measures should be taken. It is reasonable for us to believe that the situation will be improved in the near future.。

书信英语作文范文大全一、感谢信Sample 120 June 2006Dear Mr. Seaton,Thank you very much for taking me with you on that splendid outing to London. It was the first time that I had seen the Tower or any of the other famous sights. If I'd gone alone, I couldn't have seen nearly as much, because I wouldn't have known my way about. The weather was splendid on that day, which I thought was rare. I still remember some people told me that in Britain there was weather and no climate. During the same day, it might snow in the morning, rain at noon, shine in the afternoon and be windy before the night falls. So I think I was lucky.I think the river trip was the best thing of all. London really came alive for me as we saw it from the Thames during that wonderful journey down to Greenwich. It was all tremendously————来源网络搜集整理,仅供个人学习查参考exciting -a day that I shall never forget.Thank you for giving me such a great birthday treat.Yours sincerely,Linda ChenSample 220 July 2006Dear Mr. Wang,Thank you for taking the time to write your wonderful letter in support of MCEA (Maywood Chinese Education Association). Your letter clearly articulates all the major reasons children in Maywood will benefit from studying the Chinese language as part of their elementary school education. It provides invaluable support that will help making bilingual Chinese education a reality in Maywood public schools.Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest. Nevertheless, MCEA, with more than 70 members, will continue to actively promote bilingual Chinese education in the Palo Alto public schools and will keep you apprised of the progress we make. Thanks again for sending a letter in support of MCEA. We' will continue to do all we can to realize this program both for families of Chinese descent and those with a general interest in participating in the growing economic power of China.Yours sincerely,George ChenUseful ExpressionsThanks for. . .It was very nice/good of you to ...Thank you very much for. . .I must thank you for. . .I am extremely grateful for your help. . .I am most grateful for. . .二、建议信Sample 121 June 2006Dear Mary,Thanks for your last letter. I'm so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I won't be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions. There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station. To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage. When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.Cheers and looking forward to seeing you.Yours sincerely,AnnieP.S. I will leave something for breakfast in the fridge. Help yourself to anything you want.Useful Expressions:Here are some instructions and suggestions.May I suggest that we meet at the gate of the university?I'd like to suggest you should visit London for at least two days on your way to Scotland.Considering your present situation, I propose that you should apply for the post. What I want to suggest is ...My suggestion is that. . .If you. .. , you had better. . .三、申请信Sample 120 March 2006Dear Sir,I was very interested in your advertisement in today's edition of The Evening Post and I should like to apply to be a member of the Amazon Expedition team.I am twenty-three years old and have an honors degree in Botany from Bath University. Since leaving university I have been working in a research laboratory but my contract comes to an end in six weeks. I would particularly like to join the expedition for the opportunity it would give me to study the plant life of the area.I enjoy several outdoor activities including rowing and rockclimbing and I consider myself to be both fit and healthy enough to undertake such an expedition. If you would like me to attend an interview, I would be able to come at any time convenient to you, (J1) my employers have agreed to give me time off for the purpose.I look forward to hearing from you.Yours faithfully,Lily MaSample 220 June 2006Dear Sir,I noticed an ad. In the paper today you said you were looking for people to join your expedition team. It sounded as if it might be fun so I'm writing to say I'd like to come along.About myself: I left school at 16 because I wanted to earn a bit of money. After that I got a few part-time jobs as a waiter, etc. But I didn't stick to any of them for long. Recently I've been doing a bit of hitch-hiking round Europe so I've had some experience of traveling the hard way which should come in handy on the expedition you're planning. By the way, I'm a great guitarist so I can keep you all amused round the campfire at night.Let me know when I can call in for a chat about dates andother details, etc.Yours,David SmithSample Writing 3:12 May 2006Dear Sir,I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years' basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the People's General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic. As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists. I would therefore like to continue my research at eitherthe Capital Hospital or the UCH as soon as my probationary period here is completed, and I would like to study in Britain for two years.I enclose a detailed curriculum vitae and an offprint of my article, together with two letters of recommendation from Dr. Li Ming and Dr. Ma Li.Yours faithfully,Lily ChenSample Writing 422 October 2004Dear Sir,I would like to apply for the post of Works Manager, which was advertised in The Guardian of I2 October 2004. I feel that my qualifications and experience are ideally suited for the position.I was born in 1968, and I went to school from 1973 to 1988. In 1987 I took the General Certificate of Education, and I got good grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. After leaving school, I attended the Orient Technical College, where I first studied Fiber Technology and Color Chemistry; later I studied other subjects related to textile manufacture, and in 1991 I obtained the Diploma in Textiles. After completing my studies, I joined the Top Clothing Company where I worked until 1996. In that year I moved to PriorProductions, who was pleased with my work, and as a result, in 1998, I was promoted to Assistant Works Manager there.I enjoy my work, and I am prepared to work hard. Moreover, I am sure that Prior Productions would give me an excellent reference. I therefore feel that my application deserves your serious consideration.I look forward to hearing from you.Yours faithfully,Mary MaUseful Expressions:I would like to apply for . . .I wish to apply for the position of . . .If you need any other information concerning my background, . . .I am writing to you to apply for admittance to your university asa visiting scholar.I hope it would be possible for me to take some training courses and work in your laboratory.I believe that with your help I would make progress in my career.Should you think favorably of my application, kindly grant me an interview. An early response will be very much appreciated.Enclosed please find a resume and a list of my publications.四、投诉/抱怨信Sample 115 April 2006Dear Sir,I saw your advertisement for "the perfect lighter" in Sunday Times last week and immediately sent off a £2 postal order and the completed form for the lighter.Imagine my surprise when all I got in return was a box of matches! I could understand a mistake. I might even pardon a joke. But in this case, your advertisement is a deliberate lie since a friend of mine who also sent the coupon got the same result.I think it's a shame to promise an economical lighter when in fact you are not selling a lighter a1 all. Instead of saying it works quickly, you should admit that you are offering matches. And what about "only" £2: I usually pay 10 pennies for a box of matches, and they are often given away free.I regard your advertisement as a serious deception and demand that you send me my money back immediately. Otherwise I will take active steps to make sure the Consumers' Association hear about it.Yours faithfully,Peter LiSample Writing 2:12 March 2006Dear Sir,I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values. The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.Education funds should not be diverted away from education.Yours faithfully,Tom WilliamsUseful Expressions:I am highly disappointed in . . .I am writing to place a complaint against. . .I am sorry to inform you that. . .I am writing to draw your attention to . . .Please make sure that appropriate measures are taken to solve the problem.I hope you will look into the matter and give me an immediate reply. If our demand is not accepted and put into practice, we would resort to other measures.五、邀请函Sample Writing 116 May 2006Dear Mr. Williams,Thank you for your letter of congratulation on my exam results.I was very pleased to hear from you. The results were a great relief.I did much better than I thought I would. We are having a celebration party on Saturday 22 May and we shall be pleased if you can come. It is a party for me, but my parents and some of their old friends are joining in, so you will find"real people" as well as teenagers to talk to.The party starts at half past six-drinks, and a buffet supper later. You said in your letter that you've given up driving, so my father will meet you with the car at San Mateo station. Please let me know what time your train arrives. There is a good train back to San Palo at 10:30 and we'll arrange transport for you to catch that. I hope that won't be too late for you. It would be a pity if you had to leave while the party was still in full swing.I do hope that you will be able to come.Yours sincerely,Lily ChenSample Writing 2:12 September 2006Dear Mr. Wang,I am pleased to invite you to a luncheon, to be held by the Monterey Institute of International Studies on October 12, 2006 at noon, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the death of General Stilwell and in honor of his daughter, Mrs. Nancy Stilwell Easterbrook. I suppose you're keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So here's a short description of what's happened.Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff! The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England. After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didn't like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started toappreciate its differentness. The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.Hope everyone is well. See you soon.Sample Writing 2:22 March 2006Dear Tom,I'm just writing to let you know that we're all well, and I hope you are, too. Unfortunately, I've got some rather bad news for you: I'm afraid I made a bit of a mess of John's car. Anyway, here's what happened. We were on our way to Carol's after a long party, and I suppose it must have been about eleven o’clock. Well, the last few miles back home were really dark and deserted. I now realize I was probably going a bit too fast for a country lane because, although the road was fairly straight, I drove up onto the curb and went into a tree.Of course, John was absolutely furious and started shouting at me and cursing. After we' d argued for a few moments, we decided to look at the damage, and he calmed down a bit. Well, we found we could move the car, but the wing was caught on the wheel, so we couldn't drive it. I tried to pull the wing clear, but I didn'tsucceed.Anyway, John went off to phone for a breakdown lorry, but while he was away, I had another go at the wing and this time succeeded in pulling it right off. I threw it onto the back seat, and by that time John got back and we were ready to go?so we didn't need the breakdown lorry at all. John has more or less forgiven me now, but he was very angry with me for a few days. I suppose I was a bit careless.Well, that's all for now. Next time I write I hope I'll have better news for you.Yours sincerely,Linda ChenUseful Expressions:When I knew him he must have been in his early thirties. (people)It is an exceptionally old university town. (places)It was long, round, cigar-shaped, and had several curious markings on the bottom. (objects)The whole flat seems to be a hive of activity. I hope that this did not mess you up completely, although I know that you had already made some special arrangements for my visit with you parents and friends. I am very sorry about all that. I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state. My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.I am sorry again and look forward to seeing you soon.Yours sincerely,Tom WilliamsUseful Expressions:I must apologize for. . .I do apologize for. . .I am awfully/terribly sorry about. . .I offended you quite unintentionally. Please accept my apologies. This is one of the reasons I couldn't make it.八、寻求帮助的信函Sample Writing 1:12 May 2006Dear Mary,I am sorry to trouble you, but nobody would come into my mind to help me except you.You know, I had planned this holiday for several years. As might be expected, it is clear from the data that sedentary pursuits are far more popular nowadays than active ones.Of the 10,000 children that were interviewed, all the boys and girls stated that they enjoyed watching TV or videos in their spare time. In addition, the second most popular activity, attracting 80% of boys and 60% of girls, was playing electronic or computer games. While girls rated activities such as art and craft highly – just under 60% stated that they enjoyed these in their spare time – only 35% of boys opted for creative pastimes. Bike riding, on the other hand, was almost as popular as electronic games amongst boys and, perhaps surprisingly, almost 60%of girls said that they enjoyed this too. Skateboarding was relatively less popular amongst both boys and girls, although it still attracted 35% of boys and 25% of girls.(157 words)You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The diagram below shows how a central heating system in a house works.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.model answer:This diagram provides an overview of a domestic central heating system. It shows how the tank, boiler and pipes ensure a constant flow of hot waterto both the radiators and the taps. The cold water enters the house and is stored in a water storage tank in the roof. From there üflows down to the boiler, located on the ground floor of the house. The boiler, which is fuelled by gas or oil, heats up the water as it passes through it. The hot water is then pumped round the house through a system of pipes and flows into the radiators, located in different rooms. The water circulates through the radiators, which have small tubes inside them to help distribute the heat, and this warms each of the rooms. Some of the water is directed to the taps to provide hot water for the house.Once the water has been through the pipes and radiators, it is returned to the boiler to be re-heated and circulated round the house again.Introduction: First sentence. Overview: Second sentence.Key features: Entry of cold water into boiler; circulation of hot waterto radiators and taps; return of waterto boiler.Supporting information: direction of flow; types of boiler; location of radiators; radiator tubes Paragraph breaks: The paragraph breaks mark stages in the process.Linkers: and, from there, then, once, again Reference words: it, both, there, which, thisTopic vocabulary: enters, stored, roof, flows, ground floor, located, passes, pumped, system, circulates, heat, directed, returned, re-heatedLess common vocabulary: ensure, fuelled by, heats up, distribute the heat, warms Structures: An appropriate mix of active and passive structures and a range of sentence types are used.Length: 172 wordsYou should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The bar chart below shows the results of a survey conducted by a personnel department at a major company. The survey was carried out on two groups of workers: those aged from 18-30 and those aged 45-60, and shows factors affecting their work performance.Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below. You should write at least 150 words.model answer:The bar chart indicates a survey on two different age groups on the factors contributing to make their environment pleasant for working. These factors are divided into external and internal factors. The internal factors are team spirit, competent boss, respect from colleagues and job satisfaction. The external factors are chance for personal development, job security, promotional prospects and money. On the internal factors above 50% in both age groups agreed that team spirit, competent boss and job satisfaction are essential to make their environment pleasant. Whereas on the external factors, there are contrasting results. On the chance for personal development and promotional aspects, 80% to 90% of the younger groups were in favor while only less than 50% of the older group thought so. A similar pattern is also noted on job security. With regards to money, 69% to 70% on both age group said it is essential. In conclusion, the internal factors have similar responses from the two age groups while they had dissimilar responses on the external factors.(170 words)This is an answer written by a candidate who achieved a Band 7 score. Here is the examiner's comment:The information contained in the bar chart has been described accurately and concisely and follows a clear progression. There is a clear introduction followed by effective comparisons between the age groups and a valid conclusion. Good formulaic phrases (the bar chart indicates, these factors are divided), although the candidate uses the same language to describe the factors in the bar chart and does not attempt to rephrase them in any way.You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The graph below compares the number of visits to two new music sites on the web.Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below. You should write at least 150 words.model answer:The graph shows people using new music places on the Internet in fifteen days period of time namely personal choice and trendy pop music. The overall trend shows fluctuation with slight Increased towards the end of the period.Starting with Music Choice websites; 40,000 poeple went on this new site on first-day. Half of them backed out the next day. In Contrast to this Pop Parade net sites were visited by 120,000 music lovers on day one which decreased slightly on the next day thereafter regaining the same fame on 3rd day. After 3rd day the enthusiasm for both music lines on Internet dropped slowly- reaching maximum fall of 40,000 on 7th day. Whereas Music choice gained popularity, slightly Improoving to get the original strength of 30,000 viewers on screen, but was getting still less visiters than their opponent Pop group i.e. 40,000 on day 7.In the biegining of the next week both gained remarkable recovery after a few fluctuations for8th and 9th day having 40,000 and 50,000 visiters respectively, reaching to their peaks of one and a half thousand new viewers for Pop Parade on 11th day showing a contrast of very few people visiting Music choice for the same day. Thereafter Music choice gained popularity on12th day for having more than 120,000 new visiters on web.In the end of the period Pop sites were visited by maximum viewers of 180,000 whereas sites located to Music choice were not explored by more than 80,000 explorers on the last day of the report.(257 words)This is an answer written by a candidate who achieved a Band 6 score. Here is the examiner's comment:Well organized with some good linking devices and collocations (gain popularity, remarkable recovery, decrease slightly) and some valid comparison of the music sites. However, some sentences are long and confusing (paragraph 5), some collocations are inaccurate (slight increased, reaching to their peaks) and there is some repetition (7th day, 3rd day, 11 th day). Some words are spelt incorrectly (poeple, Improoving, visiters, biegining). You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The table below shows the proportion of different categories of families living in poverty in Australia in 1999.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.model answer:The table gives a breakdown of the different type of family who were living in poverty in Australia in 1999.On average, 11% of all households, comprising almost two million people, were in this position. However, those consisting of only one parent or a single adult had almost doubt this proportion of poor people, with 21% and 19% respectively.Couples generally tended to be better off, with lower poverty levels for couples without children (7%) than those with children (12%). It is noticeable that for both types of household with children, a higher than average proportion were living in poverty at this time.Older people were generally less likely to be poor, though once again the trend favoured eldery couples (only 4%) rather than single eldery people (6%).Overall the table suggests that households of single adults and those with children were more likely to be living in poverty than those consisting of couples.(154 words)You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The charts below show the percentage of their food budget the average family spent on restaurant meals in different years. The graph shows the number of meals eaten in fast food restaurants and sit-down restaurants. You should write at least 150 words.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.model answer:Over the past 30 years, the average family has dramatically increased the number of meals that they eat at restaurants. The percentage of the family's food budget spent on restaurant mealssteadily climbed. Just 10 percent of the food budget was spent on restaurant meals in 1970, and 15 percent in 1980. That percentage more than doubled in 1990, to 35 percent, and rose again in 2000 to 50 percent.Where families eat their restaurant meals also changed during that 30-year period. In 1970, families ate the same number of meals at fast food and sit-down restaurants. In 1980, fam¬ilies ate slightly more frequently at sit-down restaurants. However, since 1990, fast food restaurants serve more meals to the families than do the sit-down restaurants. Most of the restaurant meals from 2000 were eaten at fast food restaurants. If this pattern continues, eventually the number of meals that families eat at fast food restaurants could double the number of meals they eat at sit-down restaurants.(164 words)You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The table below shows the sales at a small restaurant in a downtown business district. For this reason, some universities insist that all students must complete a Work Experience Requirement. Completing the following six stages results in the requirements’ fulfillment. The process begins with the Application stage. A student reviews an approved list of workplaces and submits applications to places where he would like to work. Next is the Approval stage. When a student receives an acceptance letter, he gives it to the professor for approval. The third stage, Schedule, requires a student to arrange his work schedule. The student should work at least 10 hours/week over 20 weeks. Reports are next. The student must complete a Weekly Report Form and turn it in to the professor every Friday. The fifth stage, Evaluation, takes place during the final work week. A student participates in an evaluation meeting with his work supervisor, who submits an Evaluation Form. The last stage requires that a student submit a Final Report before the last week of spring semester.By following these stages and subsequently submitting the final report, the student receives credit from the university.(192 words)You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.In June 1996, an experimental flu vaccine was trialled in a large country town on females only.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.model answer:The diagrams show data for a flu epidemic which hit a large country town in 1996. Figure 1 gives the number of persons who died; Figure 2 shows the percentage breakdown of females who received a new flu vaccine; and Figure 3 gives the number of cases of flu before and during the epidemic. In Figure 1 it can be seen that the flu was responsible for the deaths of 2 females but no males in the period from March to May. However, from June to August, there were 4 female deaths and 1male death.According to the pie chart in Figure 2, only those females most at risk were given the new flu vaccine; 28% did not take part in the trial. Of those females who took part, 35% were aged (over 65 years old); 24% were babies or children; and 13% were either hospitalised or receiving other medical attention. From Figure 3 it is clear that the new vaccine had a positive effect on the number of new cases of flu reported in females. There were just over 1000 cases reported in March, climbing rapidly to a peak of 3500 in June. Thereafter, the number of cases dropped slowly to about 2800 in August, before levelling off at 2500 for the rest of the year. For males, the figures were lower but showed a similar trend throughout the epidemic.(232 words)The charts below show the main reasons for study among students of different age groups and the amount of support they received from employers.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.∙You should write at least 150 words.∙You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.model answer:The first graph shows that there is a gradual decrease in study for career reasons with age. Nearly 80% of students under 26 years, study for their career. This percentage gradually declines by 10-20% every decade. Only 40% of 40-49yr olds and 18% of over 49yr olds studing for career reasons in late adulthood.Conversely, the first graph also shows that study stemming from interest increases with age. There are only 10% of under 26yr olds studing out of interest. The percentage increases slowly till the beginning of the fourth decade, and increases dramatically in late adulthood. Nearly same number of 40-49yr olds study for career and interest. However 70% of over49yr olds study for interest in comparison to 18% studing for career reasons in that age group. The second graph shows that employer support is maximum (approximately 60%) for the under 26yr students. It drops rapidly to 32% up to the third decade of life, and then increses in late adulthood up to about 44%. It is unclear whether employer support is only for career-focused study, but the highest level is for those students who mainly study for career purposes. This is an answer written by a candidate who achieved a Band 8 score. Here is the examiner's comment:This answer summarises the key features of both charts and integrates them well. Clear trends are identified and supported with appropriately-selected figures. The answer could only be improved by adding an introduction to the general topic of the charts. The information is well organised, with a clearly-signalled progression. Linking words are used accurately and precisely, although there is occasional omission. Paragraphing is used well initially, but lapses in the later section.A very good range of vocabulary is used to convey the information concisely and accurately with only occasional inappropriacy. Words are used precisely and there are no errors in spelling or word form.A wide range of structures is used and most sentences in this answer are accurate. Errors are rare and do not affect communication in this answer.。

The Popularity of BlogIn recent years, blog has become very popular.More and more people have created their own blogs and often visit others' blogs. They use blog to review their inner voice or collcet and share thoughts and things they find interesting. In brief, blog is an online diary or frequently updated personal page. Why does blog become so popular in such a short time?Firstly, it is the widespread of Internet that provides a platform for the appearance and popularity of blog.Secondly, anyone can create his own blog as he wishes.Blog has no fixed rules and needn't professional knowledge and skills, which enables millions of people to have a voice and connect with others.Thirdly, blog covers all kinds of topics from daily life to political forums, from individual thoughts to world events.Among millions of blogs, you can always find something you are interested in.However, blog has some problems. For one thing, plagiarism in blog is not unusual. The protection of blog copyright cannot be guaranteed. For another, many blog content so in and mass and some even include unhealthy things. Therefore, blog still has a long way to run before it becomes mature.Does a Student Need Private Tutoring?A recent investigation shows that about 70 percent of middle school students in cities have private tutors. Such a popular practice indicates that parents are attaching greater importance to their children's education. However, private tutoring has both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, many parents have not enough ability or time to help their children in study. Private tutoring is a good solution to this problem. In addition, private tutoring is usually one-to-one, so the teacher can know the weak points as well as the strong points of the pupil, and thus teaching is, in most cases, directly to the point. On the other hand, private tutoring has its own disadvantages. For one thing, it takes up so much of the pupil’s time that he can hardly find enough time for rest and entertainment. For another, some tutors, busy “shuttling” from one family to another, tend to be unable to concentrate on their teaching duties as tutors.Considering the above-mentioned, I think the disadvantages of private tutoring outweigh itsadvantages. In my opinion, greater emphasis should be laid on classroom teaching and practice, on the improvement of teaching quality and on the tapping of the pu pil’s potential. Only in this way can a new generation be healthily brought up.A Letter of ApologySep.10th,2008Dear Mr Wang,I'm writing you this letter to apologize for my failing to hand in the paper on time. I'm very sorry for the convenience brought by my delay. Please accept my sincere apology with gratitude. The reason for my delay was the time was knocked down by a cold. However, I would do my utmost to finish the paper and hand it in as soon as possible. In my opionion, the importance of punctuality cannot be emphasized too much.

In this busy, modern world, it is not easy for us to get close to nature. With the expansion of skyscrapers, a lot of natural landscapes are disappearing. We are all depressed by the lack of nature since nature plays an extremely important role in our daily life. In the first place, nature provides fresh air and clean water, which are indispensable for us to survive. In the second place, nature offers us all kinds of resources we need for a better living, such as wood, oil and so on. In the third place, with its beautiful sceneries, nature turns our world bright and clear when we are tense and depressed. However, with the development of human society, nature has been destroyed to an alarming degree.Thousands of trees have been cut down per year, which has caused lion tons of industrial smoke has been discharged per year, which has eventually resulted in acid rain throughout the world. This is a matter of life and death, a matter no one can afford to ignore. Therefore, here comes the all-important question that how to protect nature and make it serve us.First, we can reduce water consumption in daily life, and government should develop new water sources.Second, we should control pollutant emission and make full use atmosphere resources.Third, we need to plant instead of destruction. If we don't want to be punished by nature, we must stop polluting it from this moment on. Otherwise, nature will give us a solemn and painful lesson.By彭宇宇。

1.ParagraphStudents in our school fall into three groups according to their different intentions of taking part in sports. Many students go to the playground when they feel tired after a few hours of study. These students put much more emphasis on their study efficiency than on the fun of sports. They just want to go back to their classrooms from the playground with clearer and quicker mind. Thus they don’t actually care whether they can enjoy themselves on the sports ground or not.Students that make up the second group are real sports lovers.Sometimes they even put aside their study for a game. They take part in the sport that interests them most,no caring whether it is most beneficial to their health. The third group wants beauty from sports. Boys want to become strong;girls want to be slim and graceful. Those who consider sports the only way of reducing weight also belong to this group. They are very carefully choosing the kind of exercise they do,and they are afraid that certain sports may ruin their figures. No matter which group they belong to,they all benefit form sports.2.Essay1:The Different Types of ComputersA computer is one of the greatest inventions of man and it has seen many changes in functions, memory space, size and portability. What makes the computer an extraordinary apparatus is its ability to store and process a massive amount of information, which is used to perform various technical tasks or even help create other gadgets. As technology continues to progress by leaps and bounds,it is not surprising that the computer has been modified into different shapes, with varied features and a wide range of purposes.Let us take a look at the different types of computers which will help us understand their functions and what they are used for.Personal Computer or PC–A PC is a computer that is used by someone for his personal use.It is a complete system in itself and its convenient size, price and simple functions make it easy for the end-user to work on it without any intervention from computer operators.Desktop–Any PC that is designed to be placed on a desk and not for portability is called a desktop.Such computers are kept in a somewhat permanent location and can be a little bulky. They usually have more power and storage compared to their movable counterparts.Laptop or Notebook–A PC that can be moved around is called a laptop. It gets its name from the fact that you can keep it on your lap and use it.It is also called a notebook because you can carry the battery-operated device to classes or meetingsconveniently and store any notes or information in it.It integrates the monitor, keyboard, pointing device,CPU,memory and hard drive in one system.Netbook–This is similar to a laptop, the only difference being that it is smaller in size, which makes it even more portable. It is also less expensive and performs the basic functions, but its internal parts are not as powerful as a desktop or laptop. Workstation–This computer is a desktop which is larger, consists of a more powerful processor, greater memory space and extra ability to do specific kind of work.Such a computer is used by programmers, game developers, video or sound editors and graphic designers.PDA–A Personal Digital Assistant is a small, highly integrated computer usually using flash memory for storage instead of a hard drive. It uses touchscreen technology and doesn’t have a keyboard. Those which use a digital pen for input are called handheld computers. It is light, portable, has good battery life and fits within your palm, because of which it is also called a palmtop.Server–The server’s main purpose is to provide certain services to other computers or a whole network of computers. It is much larger than any average computer and generally a whole room is necessary to fit the whole server. It has powerful processors, additional amount of memory and bigger hard drives.Mainframe–Mainframe computers are used by large companies and organisations to perform critical tasks that involve bulk data processing like transaction processing, census information, statistical data and so on.They consist of extensive input and output facilities, are very stable and dependable and handle millions of transactions every day.Supercomputer–This type of computer processes data much faster than a regular system. It is the leader in processing capacity and costs millions of dollars.A supercomputer is used for sensitive and calculation-intensive work such as scientific research, physical simulation, climate studies, oil and natural gas exploration, weather forecasting, quantum physics,to name a few.Wearable Computer–This device is worn on the body like a watch or visor and is often used by military professionals or doctors to track human actions if their hands are engaged in other activities.Smart watches and fabric PCs are examples of wearable computers. All these types of computers serve a different purpose but there are a few things common in all of them, that is,they help us save time and aid in achieving accuracy in our work. From occupying a whole room to fitting in our pocket, the computer has indeed come a long way.And the best part is that in spite of so many developments and differences in features, its journey has just begun,as the possibilities of what they can do are limitless.有缘学习更多+谓ygd3076考证资料。

Sample Writing (Practice makes perfect)熟能生巧

Practice makes perfect习作一:It is a famous saying that practice makes perfect. The truth of it is self-evident. The more you practice, the more skillful you will be. Moreover, you will find better ways of doing things. As everyone can see, practice helps us to be efficient. When we study English, we have so much to learn, such as grammar, vocabulary. In order to learn it well, we need much practice. We must read a lot, write a lot and listen a lot. Only through practice can we have a good command of it. Remember to practice if you want to speak English fluently and express yourself freely.Another case in point is typing. A good typist can type fast and accurately. But you will not be surprised at her performance if you know how much time he/she has spent practicing. Through practice, he/she has both typing speed and accuracy improved. It goes without saying that practice makes perfect. Since all of us have realized the importance of practice, why not put it into practice?习作二:A fa mous saying goes that “practice makes perfect”. It means when people are learning to do something new, they will be good at it after practicing over and over again.I have had such experience for many times. In learning English it’s especially obvious. To learn English well, we must read more , speak more, listen more and write more. At the beginning, I couldn’t speak English fluently, so I took every chance to practice such as going to the English corner talking to foreigners, reading English aloud in the morning, and even speaking to myself, from time to time. I insisted for a long time and to my delight, my spoken English was much better than before. It’s also the same in English listening and writing, etc.Another example, when people begin learning to type, they are not familiar with the key board and can’t type fast. As long as they can insist on practicing, it is certain that one day they will grasp it and become very skillful and fast.I like this saying--practice makes perfect, which encourages me to practice more and more till I reach perfect.。

A recent survey reveals that the growing number is strikingly high with over double every year. This essay is to discuss why students strive to join the ranks of civil servants and offer my view on this fever. The factors for this fever are complex. First, the post for a civil servant is comparatively securer than working in a company. A government employee may stay in the job for life, free of the fear of being laid off, and enjoy a carefree retired life. Besides, the pay and benefits are very satisfactory. This is vital in a society where bucks are still closely associated w ith a better life. Most important of all, it offers appealing prospects of personal advancement and promotion. It is a healthy trend for young graduates to take civil servant jobs. Anyway, everyone has his own ideal and ambition. However, as far as I’m c oncerned, I will choose to work with a business or corporation, for I feel my personality renders me more qualified for a non-government organization. I can’t stand inefficiency and I welcome challenge and variety.Writing Sample:That some college students at university hire cleaners to do laundry and cleaning has led to a heated debate. Some people advocate and support the idea and the practice. In their eyes, hiring cleaners to keep the dorms clean can help students save time, which they can spend on their studies.Others, however, argue that hiring cleaners could help students save time and devote to their studies is merely a pretext. Usually, those students who claim they are too busy to clean their own dorms are most often found preoccupied with playing computer games or shopping. They refuse to do manual labor because they tend to regard themselves as elites once they succeed in entering a college.Personally, I thin k college students shouldn’t hire cleaners. In performing the cleaning himself/herself, college students learn to share the responsibility for managing a public space of which one is a part. And by doing so, the students also show respect for the common we lfare of the entire dorm. Cleaning one’s own dorm is a necessary process whereby one becomes a responsible person.Writing:On AdversityNo one will fail to notice the fact that everyone meets setbacks and frustrations in life, and each tries hard to avoid them, only to find that they’re just like your own shadow accompanying you all your lives. The truth is, adversity can exert great influence on you, depending on how you cope with it.When confronted by adversity, different people make different response. Some people consider it a stumbling block on the road to success, and get depressed and even sink into despair; others consider it the stairway to great accomplishments and try to overcome it with constant struggle. The latter, therefore, will recognize their disadvantages from their temporary defeat, draw lessons from it, and grow stronger each time they have coped with a difficulty. In my opinion, adversity often leads to prosperity. Painful anddepressing as it is, overcoming adversity endows us with great confidence that is crucial to achieve success. Great people are not born successful, they are great only because they have tempered their personality and remedied their deficiencies through experiencing countless adversity and defeat, which is actually a goddess of blessings in disguise.WritingThe period 1995-2005 witnessed a remarkable increase in the number of students who study abroad in City X. As can be seen from the chart, in 1990, only about 10000 students in this city pursued their further study overseas while in 2000 this figure quickly rose to 40000. In 2010, however, the number of overseas students surged to over 120000, which is over 10 times as many as that of 1990.The increase in the number of students who study abroad can be accounted for by a couple of factors. First, along with social and economy progress, the living standard of the Chinese people has been greatly enhanced, so they have enough money to send their children to study abroad. Meanwhile, more and more young people want to broaden their vision by exposing themselves to foreign professors and experiencing exotic cultures.Overseas study has a profound effect on both individuals and society. It can widen our people’s horizons, promote friendship between people with different cultures, boost our social economy and make our society more prosperous and dynamic. All in all, i t’s good for our nation’s progress.1. 当今社会鼓励大学生自主创业2. 自主创业的益处和可能遇到的挑战3. 我对自主创业的看法college graduatesbe exposed to/ faced with fierce competition in job market on graduationIt is advisable to/ they are encouraged to do their own businesslessen the pressure of employmentcreate job opportunitiesget work experience, vital for better survival in future lifebe your own boss without worrying about being laid offenjoy secure and fear-free life.have to raise or loan enough money before starting business learn how to run your company properly as a green handworry about financial condition such as the cost of operation and the profits of the products be faced with the risk of bankruptcyIt is true that …but on balance… since…involve risk/ uncertainty, an exciting idea, advantages outweigh disadvantagesAs for me…I prefer a life of comfort and peacea life of adventures/ challengeThe merits and Demerits of Cars1. the merits2. the demerits3. my opinionNowadays, we have witnessed and realized that we can hardly live without cars with the development of vehicles. There is no consensus of opinion among people as to the view of owning cars. Some people claim that the increasing number of cars is aclear sign that we are usheringa trend in the modern time.People who are for the development of cars argue that it is one of the most lucrative industries in the world. And obviously, it is convenient to travel by cars and the using of cars shortens the distance of different areas. It is incontestable that the generation of cars actually have made our life convenient. However, people from different background would put different interpretations on the same case. But others proclaim oppositely. When we are addicted in the merits of cars, the demerits are being more and more instinct too.More and more people have realized the harmful effect of pollution, which is a simultaneous product of industrial revolution. And, cars, the symbol of modern life, contaminate our environment so much.In addition, the traffic jams and accidents are threatening our life day and night. In my way of thinking both of the two views contain some elements of truth. From my perspective, I would say the advantages overweigh the disadvantages. The development of cars should not be wholly blamed for the pollution of environment. The government should take effective measures and make a environment-friendly plan so that we all can enjoy the result of the prosperity of economy and a harmonious life as well.知识还是创造力重要1.有人认为知识重要2.有人认为创造力重要3.我的观点Which should be emphasized: knowledge or creativity?Knowledge or creativity, which is primary? So many people have asked the question.According to a recently survey, mere 55% parents think essential knowledge is more important for their children. They point that knowledge is the basic of everything, without which it’s utterly impossible to develop one’s creativity. Besides that, the relationship of knowledge and creativity is input and output. Last but not least, focusing on the basic will make you patient, make you dig out the essential part of things. But opposed to the parents, 85% educators are for that creativity play a vital role in the socialization of children. Frankly, I agree with them more. The fact that we face demand us to emphasize the creativity. Date back to the past, our ancestors made many wonderful achievements. They discovered some math theories hundreds years before western scientists. The reason why we lag behind today lies in we lack of the creativity today. In schools, students are stuffed with piles of knowledge under the pressure of fierce competition. Many young people lose their chances to enter college just because of one early failure in a stupid examination. But practically speaking, how can they show their true abilities?Creativity is the key to a brighter future. Fortunately we have learned the point, and many workable reforms are being carried out. In most schools, students are actively involved in the class activities. For sake of the Chinese children, Creativity is in need.To Get along with Y our RoommateRoommate conflicts among college students are often heard on campus over recent years. Study shows that roommate conflicts make the excitement of campus life grow grey and affect students’ daily life as well as their academic learning. It is often the case that many of these conflicts spring from trivial things such as the time when to turn off the light and space where to store their luggage or personal belongings. When personalities don’t mix, the specifics can tear roommates apart and sometimes even lead to serious conflicts.Roommate conflicts are harmful and need to be settled. Though many people think that school discipline can soften the conflicts, it is my personal view that learning to be tolerant with each other can play a more constructive role because it teaches students flexibility and the art of compromise. Besides, communication contributes to the solution to this problem since many of these conflicts stem from misunderstanding. How Do I Manage My Money? One of the challenges facing college students when they enter college is how to manage their money. Although there are many different attitudes towards money management, I have my own way in doing so.To be money wise, first of all, is to focus on the supply of my money. Aside from the limited living allowances from my parents, I sometimes do part-time jobs as ahome tutor in my spare time to make up the difference. Occasionally, I can win the scholarship to supplement my income by hard work.To be self-denial on daily expenses is another way to manage my money. As a saying goes,“A penny saved, a penny gained.”So I never buy extravagant products for I know making money is not a piece of cake. The best way to manage my money is to make a budget. I spend 500 yuan on food, 150 yuan on entertainment or study materials, 50 yuan on phone bills and another 100 yuan as a bank deposit in case of rainy days. I am never running out of money and I can always make ends meet.Dear Editor,I am writing this letter to put forward a proposal for learning to say sorry or thank you on our campus life, which, I believe, is part of good manners to our students. (purpose of writing the letter---thesis statement)Good manners are important to our life and students who are nice and gentle to each other make the school lif e more comfortable and nicer to live. (importance of good manners---正面论述positive support) But sometimes I feel some of us have got away from it. Too often I see people who have disturbed others never say sorry. Never say thank you when others do something for them. W e get lazy and in our laziness w e think something such as sorry or thank you does not really matte r but it can matter very much. (反面论述negative support) (evidence to support the thesis statement---facts) Therefore, I call on all the students to attach importance to good manners and learn to say sorry or thank you in our daily life. (appeal of the writer)A New Movie TheatreEntertainment is an important part of everyone’s life. We all need to take time to relax insgroupsto live healthy lives and do our work efficiently. It is easier to relax when an appropriate form of entertainment is convenient and close by. Therefore, I would support a proposal to build a new movie theater in myneighborhood.Entertainment places can bring some disadvantages to a community such as increased traffic and noise, but I believe the advantages of a new movie theater would outweigh these concerns. For one thing, the people in my neighborhood would save time. When they wanted to see a movie they could simply walk to the new theater rather than spend time traveling by bus or car. In addition, it would be safer for children to visit a nearby movie theater rather than one in some other part of the city. And finally, a new theater might attract other businesses, such as restaurants and coffee shops, where the people of my neighborhood could go to relax. In short, a new movie theater in the neighborhood would increase the number of entertainment options for the residents. They could enjoy themselves more easily without spending a lot of time traveling to another part of the city. For these reasons I would support the building of a movie theater in my neighborhood.。

Sample writingWriting 3 The Value of timeTime is precious. A famous Chinese saying goes like this: “A second of time cannot be purchased with an ounce of gold.” Time is so valuable that nothing can buy it. The lost time will never come back; therefore. We should cherish time.Waste of time can mean disasters. Many people have been wasting their time all the time. Some high school or college students squander almost their time watching TV, playing video games, singing pop songs, idolizing pop stars, and so on and so forth. As a result, they fail to pass the university entrance examination or the job interview.Apparently, we should devote most of our time to useful activities. For example, students can use the early morning for physical exercise or academic studies instead of lying in bed, looking at the ceiling. In the classroom we should concentrate on/focus on what the teacher presents and take quick notes. Concentration in class can save a lot of time after class. In short, if we spend our time wisely, we shall benefit a great deal.Writing 2 YouthYouth is a golden age in our lives, often compared to the rising sun. Young people are full of vigor and vitality, which arouse the most pleasurable emotions, such as first love. Youth is also an age of awakening, when the world looks new and feels mysteriously alive. We should try to accomplish something when young. Youth is a good time for learning, especially for acquiring more and more knowledge. We should sensitive to everything, and we should make full use of our youth to lay a good foundation for the future, which can then be truly successful.Sometimes we hear our elders remark about our young people, “Youth is always wasted on the young.” What they principally refer to is youth’s lack of awareness of the passage of the time. What wise advice! If we waste our youth, we will never regain it. If we treasure it, we can say when we become old that the days of our youth have been lived to their fullnest.Writing 4 The importance of ConfidenceWhatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships. This truth seems to be self-evident. However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they lack the ability to do something or that their difficulties are too great to overcome. For some, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart. Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing something? There are, among others, two main reasons. First, these people do not have a correct estimate of themselves. Second, they overestimate the difficulties. It is possible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towards one’s own abilities. We should never underestimate our abilities but should believe in the proverb: “where there is will. there is a way.” Confidence is the premise for fulfilling a task successfully.Writing 1 ComputersThe computer is a wonderful machine. It is the most important invention in many years.Today it is used a great deal in many ways. Up to now the computer have probably touched the lives of everyone, even people in remote villages.Computers can do many kinds of work. For example, in a big shop, information about a sale is put into a computer. During the night the computer works on the information from all the sales that day. The next morning the manager has a report on everything that was sold and also on everything that will soon be sold out. In scientific researches, a scientist can “ask” the computer questions, and the computer “answer” on the screen. It is almost like talking to another scientist. In education, computers are used to assist the teaching. By means of modern multimedia technology, more and more information can be provided in class, which help the students learn and master more knowledge and have all-round development. In the last few years, there have been great changes in computers. They now can do most of the things people can do, though most scientists agree that computers cannot take the place of humans. Who knows what computers of tomorrow will be like? Will they make life better, or will they ring suffering to people? People of today will have to decide how to use the computers of tomorrow.。

范文分析-动物试验2005年9月17日A类Task 2 考题WRITING TASK 2You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.Write about the following topic:Some people think that using animals for experimentation purpose is cruel, but other people think that it is necessary for the development of science.Discuss both views and give your opinion.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.Write at least 250 words.

Some people think that the animals should be treated as pets; others think that animals are sources of food and clothing. What is your opinion?Aquariums and wildlife sanctuaries are seen as sources of education andentertainment for families. They are also essential to conduct life-savingresearch. However there is opposition to confining animals in this way.Discuss some of the arguments for and against the maintenance of zoos.范文A chimpanzee is perhaps the animal most closely related to humans; but instead of treating the animal with love and respect, we subject it t o cruel and inhumane scientific and medical experiments to further huma n development. What a cruel fate for the unfortunate chimpanzee. Or pe rhaps, in life as in the jungle it is survival of the fittest, and so, as the most intelligent animal we are just exercising our right to dominate and use other animals as we wish. For many people the issue of using animals for science is black and white; either very pro-animal rights, or very much in favour of using ani mals since we are the highest level creature. On the one hand, some p eople say that subjecting animals to pain and torture is truly barbaric; hi gher-level animals share with us feelings, thoughts and behaviors and so we should look after them and respect them. They may also feel that if we are so unsure about the effects of a drug for example then we sho uld do further chemical testing before doing live and sometimes cruel ani mal testing.Others, however, believe that we must use animals for the benefit of our own species (humans); to test drugs, cosmetics and new developme nts in science which will provide a safer and better lifestyle for us. Very few people are inherently cruel, but they still believe it is either them or us; it is better to test the drugs on a monkey rather than on a person.Being cruel for the sake of being cruel and with no tangible results t o show for it is definitely stepping over a boundary of acceptable behavi or, but at other times if the benefits of the research are explicit, tangible and valuable then I feel that the research is justified.~296 Words~第一段引言段,背景介绍并给出观点在第一段里作者先介绍了考题的背景。

It is always my wish that one day I can experience a brand new life with my family. Luckily, to my great delight, here comes a chance that I can take
a ride in the time machine to the future and live there for three years. The
bad news is that only one person can keep me company. After reflecting on what I have undergone, I decide to choose my mother to go with me. She really deserves this precious chance.
The reasons for it are as follows. To begin with,my mother has played a an important part in almost everything that I do. What she does for me makes me burst into tears over and over again. Therefore,it is high time that
I should do something to pay back the love that she gives to me. What’s more,
my mother is known for her diligence and devotion to our family. She is so absorbed in the housework that it is hard for her to spare some time to relax.
Due to it, she is terribly in need of having a good rest. In addition, my mother will continue to make a big difference on my way to success. So I will take her with me to the Year 3008.
During the three years in the future, I will take my mother to travel around the world, enjoying various kinds of food and experiencing different cultures. Besides, we will build our house underground with a system that can purify the air because it is too crowded on the land and the pollution is unbearable. Furthermore, as some animals are at risk of dying out, we will build a large shelter for them to live in so that they can lead a safe life.
In conclusion, the love that my mother gives me is not conditional upon what I can repay her. She is so selfless that I am proud of having such an extraordinary mother. I will seize the chance to show my gratitude to her.。
