AI went to the Tsavo National Park in northern Kenya for a film. We set off early for a distant water hole. A huge elephant covered with dry mud, drank calmly and deeply. He might have traveled 50 km to reach the water. He wasn’t going to hurry now. He’d drink a while and rest in the shade, and then drink again or so we thought. What actually happened was that he drank deeply and stepped away. Then he suddenly fell down. Within minutes he was dead.We called animal doctor Jeremiah Poghon immediately. He removed the head of a poisoned arrow from the elephant’s body, and let out over 100 liters of pus (胺)-the result of the elephant’s meeting with a poacher(偷猎者)months before.Today's poacher shoots from a blind. He fires an arrow, covered with poison, into the body of an elephant. If the poacher is lucky, the elephant might die in an hour or two; if not, he might have to follow the elephant for days before it dies. Often the arrow head fails to kill the elephant at once-it doesn't mean the poison won't finally kill the elephant, but it will be a slow death.Living in Tsavo through these times, I could see the results of poaching from time to time. When I think about the death of that elephant, what stays with me is the extraordinary silence aft er the shocking sound of his body hitting the ground. I took some comfort from the knowledge that as the dead body returned to the soil, some animals would benefit-but I couldn't escape the feeling that with the death of such a large animal, the world seemed to be a poorer and emptier place.21. While filming near the water hole, the author and his team ________.A. knew the elephant was injuredB. found the elephant acted violentlyC. tried their best to save the elephantD. thought the elephant was in good condition22. Further examination showed that the dead elephant________.A. had suffered an hour or twoB. was killed by a poisonous needleC. had suffered a lotD. had had a good fight with a poacher23. How does the author feel when thinking about the elephant s death?A. empty.B. comfortable.C. upset.D. relieved.24. Why did the author write the text?A. To introduce African elephant.B. To show the cruelty of poaching.C. To describe his filming experience.D. To ask readers to protect wild animals.BWinter begins in the north on December 22nd. People and animals have been doing what they always do to prepare for the cold months. Squirrels, for example, have been busy gathering nuts from trees. Well, scientists have been busy gathering information about what the squirrels do with the food they collect. They examined differences between red squirrels and gray squirrels in the American state of Indiana. The scientists wanted to know how these differences could affect the growth of black walnut trees. The black walnut is the nut of choice for both kinds of squirrels. The black walnut tree is also a central part of some hardwood forests.Rob Swihart of Purdue University did the study with Jake Goheen, a former Purdue student now at the University of New Mexico. The two researchers estimate that several times as many walnuts grow when gathered by gray squirrels as compared to red squirrels. Gray squirrels and red squirrels do not store nuts and seeds in the same way. Gray squirrels bury nuts one at a time in a number of places. But they seldom remember where they buried every nut. So some nuts remain in the ground. Conditions are right for them to develop and grow in the following spring. Red squirrels, however, store large groups of nuts above ground. Professor Swihart calls “death traps for seeds”.Gray squirrels are native to Indiana. But Professor Swihart says their numbers began to decrease as more forests were cut for agriculture. Red squirrels began to spread through the state during the past century. The researchers say red squirrels are native to forests that stay green all year, unlike walnut trees. They say the cleaning of forest land for agriculture has helped red squirrels invade Indiana. Jake Goheen calls them a sign of an environmental problem more than a cause.25.The study done by Rob Swihart and Jake Goheen is to ________.A. find out the living conditions for squirrelsB. do something to get rid of squirrelsC. learn squirrels’ influence on black walnut treesD. save the forests in the American state of Indiana26.The difference between gray squirrels and red squirrels mainly lies in ________.A. the way they gather the walnutB. the place they store the walnutsC. the number of the nuts they can collectD. the fact that the gray squirrels have a bad memory27.When Professor Swihart says “death traps for seeds”, he actually means that ________.河南教考资源信息网 版权所有·侵权必究A. nuts above the ground will not develop into plantsB. red squirrels eat more nuts than gray squirrelsC. gray squirrels and red squirrels will have severe fightsD. seeds can be traps for other animals in the forest28.According to the passage, which of the following is true?A. Gray squirrels do more harm to the forest than red squirrels.B. Red squirrels and gray squirrels have helped the spread of walnut trees.C. The cleaning of forest land benefits gray squirrels directly.D. Human beings should bear some responsibility for the decreasing number of graysquirrels.CLa Gomera is the only place in the world that has a whistle language. We do not know how and why it began because we do not know the complete history of the island. But we can certainly imagine the reasons for the beginning of the whistle language. There are many deep valleys on the island. A person on one side of a valley can not easily shout to a person on the other side. But he can whistle and be heard. Some of the best whistlers can be heard from four miles away and the record is seven miles. The people who live on the island usually have good teeth, and this helps them to whistle well. They must also have good ears so that they can hear other whistlers. We can understand why the whistle language continues. It is very useful on the island, and quite easy to learn. When somebody is hurt or ill, the whistle language takes the place of telephone. If the sick person is quite far away from the town, people pass the message from one to another. A boy guarding cattle on a hillside whistles to a man fishing from his boat. The last one is able to describe the trouble fully and exactly to the doctor in town. People help one another in the same way when a car breaks down or a cow is lost. The whistle language is hundreds of years old, and probably it will continue to live on for hundreds of years more. Radio and TV often kill the special ways of s peaking in different parts of a country. But on La Gomera you are nobody if you cannot whistle. Perhaps soon after TV arrives on the island, people there will be whistling the news and other facts and opinions.29. If a person on La Gomera is ill, ______.A. the whistle language will help pass the message to the doctorB. people will take him to town by carriageC. his family will take him to the hospitalD. others will phone the doctor in town30.

With the average temperature for January standing at-50℃,it is no wonder the village is the coldest permanently inhabited settlement in the world.Known as the'Pole of Cold',the coldest ever temperature recorded in Oymyakon was-71.2℃.This is the lowest recorded temperature for any permanently inhabited location on Earth and the lowest temperature recorded in the Northern Hemisphere.Ironically,Oymyakon actually means'non-freezing water'due to a nearby hot spring. Most homes in Oymyakon still burn coal and wood for heat and enjoy few modern conveniences.Nothing grows there so people eat reindeer meat and horse meat.A single shop provides the town's bare necessities and the locals work as reindeer-breeders,hunters and ice-fisherman.Doctors say the reason the locals don't suffer from malnutrition is that their animals'milk contains a lot of micronutrients.Unsurprisingly, locals are hardened to the weather and unlike in other countries—where a flurry of snow brings things grinding to a halt,Oymyakon's solitary school only shuts if temperatures fall below-52℃.There are few modern conveniences in the village—with many buildings still having outdoor toilets-and most people still burn coal and wood for heat. When coal deliveries are irregular the power station starts burning wood.If the power ceases, the town shuts down in about five hours, and the pipes freeze and crack.Daily problems that come with living in Oymyakon include pen ink freezing, glasses freezing to people's faces and batteries losing power.Locals are said to leave their cars running all day for fear of not being able to restart them.Even if there was coverage for mobile phone reception the phones themselves would not work in such cold conditions.Another problem caused by the frozen temperatures is burying dead bodies, which can take anything up to three days. The earth must first have melted sufficiently in order to dig it,so abonfire is lit for a couple of hours.Hot coals are then pushed to the side and a hole couple of inches deep is dug.The process is repeated for several days until the hole is deep enough to bury the coffin.Travel companies offer tourists the opportunity to visit the village and sample life in the freezing conditions.21.Which of the following statements about this village is true?A.Local children don’t go to school because of the extreme cold.B.People there live a hard and simple life with few modern conveniences.C.People there have a healthy and balanced diets by eating vegetables and meat.D.The name of this village—Oymyakon suggests that it’s extremely cold here.22.The sentence“If you thought it was cold where you are at the moment then a visit to theRussian village of Oymyakon might just change your mind.”can be put.A.before the first paragraphB.after the first paragraphC.after the sixth paragraphD.before the last paragraph23.What does the underlined phrase“grinding to a halt”probably mean in this passage?A.stoppingB.growingC.continuingD.failing24.What is the purpose of writing this passage?A.To attract more people to visit this village.B.To inform readers of this special village.C.To help solve problems facing the village.D.To draw readers’attention to poor people.B篇Newspapers are not nearly as popular today as they were in the past.there are not very many people who seriously read a newspaper every day.most people read only the sports pages, the advice or the gossip columns, the comics, and perhaps the classified advertisements.most people don’t take the time to read the real news.they attempt to catch the reader’s interest with picture and exiting headlines. These techniques are used on the front page because it is the first thing you see when you pick up the paper.the first page attracts attention and encourages the reader to look through the rest of the paper.this is why editors always look for a good first page story and headlines the make you stop and look.if the headlines is horrible enough or frightening enough or wild enough.perhaps you will go on to read the front page anymore.they may read the headlines, but that id all.then they turn to the sports page,or comics,or advertisements.it seems that people do not want the news from a newspaper anymore.they say they get the news on the television now.More people watch television news because it is easier and more interesting than reading a newspaper. What about you?do you read news from a newspaper?do you think it is easier to get the news from television?Or do you care about news at all?would you mind if there were no news?25.according to the passage, newspaper are_______A more popular todayB less popular todayC as popular as beforeD getting more and more popular26.according to the author, which of the following newspaper will most probably attract the reader’attention?A the ones with interesting pictures and exciting headlines on the front pageB the ones with sports news on the front pageC the ones with classified ads on the front pageD the ones with gossip columns on the front page27.according to the passage, most people read all of the following except______A the sports pageB comicsC advertisementsD the real news28.the author’s attitude toward newspaper is______A sympatheticB criticalC negativeD undeterminedC篇We are all called upon to make a speech at some point in life, but most of us don’t do a very good job. This article gives some suggestions on how to give an effective speech. So,you have 河南省顶级名校2015届高三年级入学定位考试英语试卷及答案

河南省顶级名校2015届高三年级入学定位考试英语试卷第一部分阅读理解(20*2=40)ASince the 1970s, scientists have been searching for ways to link the brain with computers. Brain-computer interface(BCI) technology could help people with disabilities send commands to machines.Recently, two researchers, Jose Milan and Michele Tavella from the Federal Polytechnic school in Lausanne, Switzerland, demonstrated a small robotic wheelchair directed by a person’s thoughts. In the laboratory, Tavella operated the wheelchair just by thinking about moving his left or right band. He could even talk as he watched the vehicle and guided it with his thoughts.“Our brain has billions of nerve cells. These send signals through the spinal cord (脊髓)to the muscles to give us the ability to move. But spinal cord injuries or other conditions can prevent these weak electrical signals from reaching the muscles,” Tavella says. “Our system allows disabled people to communicate with external world and also to control devices.”The researchers designed a special cap for the user. This head cover picks up the signals from the scalp(头皮) and sends them to a computer. The computer interprets the signals and commands the motorized wheelchair. The wheelchair also has two cameras that identify objects in its path. They help the computer react to commands from the brain.Prof. Milan, the team leader, says scientists keep improving the computer software that interprets brain signals and tur ns them into simple commands. “The practical possibilities that BCI technology offers to disabled people can be grouped in two categories: communication, and controlling devices. One example is this wheelchair.”He says his team has set two goals. One is testing with real patients, so as to prove that this is a technology they can benefit from. And the other is to guarantee that they can use the technology over long periods of time.1. Robotic Vehicles Could Help to Cure Brain InjuriesBIn the fall of 1985, I was a bright-eyed girl heading off to Howard University, aiming at a legal career and dreaming of sitting on a Supreme Court bench somewhere. Twenty-one years later I am still a bright-eyed dreamer and one with quite a different tale to tell.My grandma, an amazing woman, graduated from college at the age of 65. She was the first in our family to reach that goal. But one year after I started college, she developed cancer.I made the choice to withdraw from college to care for her. It meant that school and my personal dream would have to wait. Then I got married with another dream: building my family with a combination of adopted and biological children. In 1999, we adopted our first son. To lay eyes on him was fantastic---and very emotional. A year later came our second adopted boy. Then followed son No. 3. In 2003, I gave birth to another boy.You can imagine how fully occupied I became, raising four boys under the age of 8. Our home was a complete zoo---a joyous zoo. Not surprising, I never did make it back to college full-time. But I never gave up on the dream either. I had only one choice: to find a way. That meant taking as few as one class each semester. The hardest part was feeling guilty about the time I spent away from the boys. They often wanted me to stay home with them. It took me over 21 years to get my college degree!I am not special, just single-minded. It always struck me that when you’re looking at a big challenge from the outside it looks huge, but when you’re in the midst of it, it just seems normal. Everything you want won’t arrive in your life on one day. It’s a process. Remember: little steps add up to big dreams.6. In other words, we should keep the healthy while using its supply of natural resources.Today, sustainable development is a popular trend in many countries. According to a recent study, the global market for low-carbon energy will become three times bigger over the next decade. China, for example, has set its mind on leading that market, hoping to seize chances in the new round of the global energy resolution. It is now trying hard to made full use of wind and solar energy, and is spending a huge amount of money making electric cars and high-speed trains. In addition, we are also seeing great growth in the global markets for sustainable products such as palm oil(棕榈油), which is produced without cutting down valuable rainforest. In recent years the markets for sustainable products have grown more than 50%.Governments can fully develop the potential of these new markets. First, they can set high targets for reducing carbon emissions(排放) and targets for saving and reusing energy. Besides, stronger arrangement of public resources like forests can also help to speed up the development. Finally, governments can avoid the huge public expenses that are taking us in the wrong direction, and redirecting some of those expenses can accelerate the change from the traditional model to a sustainable one.The major challenge of this century is to find ways to meet the needs of a growing population within the limits of this single planet. That is no small task, but it offers abundant new chances for sustainable product industries.16. The traditional business model is harmful because of all the following EXCEPT that____.A. it makes the world warmerB. it consumes natural resourcesC. it brings severe damage to futureD. it makes growth hard to continue17. What can we infer from Paragraph2?A. China lacks wind and solar energy.B. China is the leader of the low-carbon market.C. High-speed trains are a low-carbon development.D. Palm oil is made at the cost of valuable forests.18. To fully develop the low-carbon markets governments can______.A. cut public expensesB. forbid carbon emissionsC. develop public resourcesD. encourage energy conservation19. We can learn from the last paragraph that businesses have many chances to _______.A. develop sustainable productsB. explore new natural resourcesC. make full use of natural resourcesD. deal with the major challenge20. What is the main purpose of the passage?A. To introduce a new business modelB. To compare two business modelsC.To predict a change of the global marketsD. But, 41 , words of wisdom are soon forgotten. Once companies have attracted customers they often 42 the second half of the story. In the excitement of beating off the competition, negotiating prices, securing orders, and delivering the product, managers tend to become carried away. They forget what they regard as the boring side of business—43 that the customer remains a customer.44 to concentrate on retaining as well as attracting customers costs business huge amounts of money annually. It has been estimated that the average company loses between 10 and 30 per cent of its customers every years. In constantly changing 45 , this is not surprising. What is surprising is the fact that few companies have any idea how many customers they have lost.Only now are organizations beginning to wake up to those lost opportunities and calculate the 46 implications. Cutting down the number of customers a company loses can make a big 47 in its performance. Research in the US found that a five per cent decrease in the number of defecting (流失的) customers led to 48 increases of between 25 and 85 per cent.I n the US, Domino’s Pizza estimates that a regular customer is worth more than $5,000 over ten years. A customer who receives a poor quality product or service on their first visit and 49 never returns, is losing the company thousands of dollars in 50 profits (more if you consider how many people they are likely to tell about their bad experience). The logic behind cultivating customer 51 is impossible to deny. “In practice most companies’ marketing effort is focused on getting customers, with li ttle attention paid to 52 them”, says Adrian Payne of Cornfield University’ School of Management. “Research suggests that there is a close relationship between retaining customers and making profits.53 customers tend to buy more, are predictable and usually cost less to service than new customers. Furthermore, they tend to be less price 54 , and may provide free word-of-mouth advertising. For each of them there are four choices marked A, B, C and D. Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have just read.(A)Not many people know about the clouded leopard. Even scientists don’t know much about the animal in the wild because it is so private. We do know that the clouded leopard isn’t actually a leopard. It is a species of its own. However, it does have spots like a leopard. They help it blend into the background in the forest. What else do we know about the cat? It is one of the best climbers of all wild cats. This skill is clearly imprinted in the kittens early on by their mothers and by instinct. In the wild, the cat lives in the tropical rain forests of Asia. It hunts small animals, such as squirrels and monkeys. It is listed on the United States Endangered Species Act. This protects it from being hunted. Scientists have speculated that the wild population is getting smaller, but no actual numbers are available.into extinction. The Clouded Leopard Project has recently begun a conservation effort in Thailand. It is a natural home of the clouded leopard. Funds will be given to the Khao Kheow Open Zoo to help with the breeding of these cats. Part of the money also will help save the habitat of the wild cats. People will work to monitor these wild cats. They will be photographed instead of being sedated, or drugged, to be tagged(加标签). Sedating clouded leopards could cause the cats’ bodies to lose too much water, or worse. The project has had some great successes in the last few years. Two cubs were born in the United States, and two were born in Thailand. Members of the Clouded Leopard Project hope the urge to protect such species will become embedded in people’s minds. They sponsor several education programs at zoos. They also sponsor programs to directly help the cats. Through their work they ultimately will increase the population of this species.65. What made a clouded leopard not easy to find in the forest?A. Spots like a leopard.B. A species of its own.C. Best climbing skills.D. Extinction of such animals.66. _____ is not included in the Clouded Leopard Project?A. Breeding clouded leopards in zoos.B. Monitoring the cats by labeling them.C. Starting educational programs at zoos.D. Saving the cat’s natur al habitat.67. The underlined word “embedded” means _____.A. focusedB. rootedC. determinedD. talented68. Which of the following statement is TRUE?A. Clouded leopard is a rare kind of leopard with nice spots.B. Lack of food in the wild makes the survival of the cats more difficult.C. The Clouded Leopard Project aims at increasing the population of the cat.D. Observing clouded leopards’ behavior protects the cats from being hunted.(B)(C)With greenhouse gas emissions(排放)hitting record levels and passing climate scientist's worst predictions, a new group of Chinese activists is making its voice heard at the United Nations climate talks, the COP17, which was held in Durban, South Africa. The delegation of independent Chinese non-governmental organizations (NGOs) believes that civil society must play a bigger role in the global climate crisis. C Plus is the name given to the project launched by 42 Chinese NGOs, calling for domestic and global action to fight climate change. And they think the best way of demanding governments' action is to take action by themselves. The message is clear: climate action is too important and too urgent. It can't wait. The top-down process of negotiations that we are seeing at the UN is too slow.C Plus has three components, which together explain its name. C Plus stands for: Beyond Commitment. This means that NGOs must put pressure on their governments to achieve targets that are beyond those that have been officially stated. Second is Beyond China -- in other words, NGOs outside and inside of China together must strive to influence their respective governments to take action. Finally, Beyond Climate. The project targets not just carbon reduction but othergovernment's task of environment responsibility and raising public awareness in environment protection. And NGOs can claim some notable successes. NGOs sponsored “26-degree air conditioning office”among the public, which later became a government regulation. A group of Chinese citizens organized together and stopped the construction of a dangerous chemical plant in Xiamen. In total, there are 3,539 environment NGOs in China, in which 55.2 percent now have their own offices, and 26 percent have fixed source of investment. However, most environment NGOs still face problems including difficulty in raising money, shortage in personnel and weak organization ability in their development process. In Durban, Chinese NGOs have arrived as a team and are prepared to state their demands.72. The passage is mainly about _____.A. Durban climate change conferenceB. environment NGOs in ChinaC. C plus project launched by NGOsD. achievements of NGOs73. Which of the following is true about the C Plus?A. It is an organization devoted to controlling the greenhouse gas emission.B. It is a program aiming at influencing government to take action to protect environment.C. It is a project designed by the government to unite NGOs inside and outside China.D. It is a statement calling for public awareness in environment protection.74. Most environment NGOs don’t lack _____.A. financial supportB. human resourcesC. development goalsD. organizational skills75. What can be inferred from the passage about the NGOs?A. They once pushed the government to make a regulation concerning office temperature.B. They pushed forward the slow negotiations by adopting the top-down style.C. They were directly involved in making environment-related policies.D. They successfully pressurized the government to achieve the unofficially stated targets. Section CDirections: Read the following text and choose the most suitable heading from A-F for eachAutism is a disorder of early development that causes severe problems in thinking, communicating with others, and feeling a part of the outside world. Taken from the Greek word autos meaning “alone,” autism prevents children from developing normal social relationships, even with their parents. Not all autistic infants and children are alike; in fact, there is no single typical clinical picture of the disorder. However, certain types of behavior are noted in a majority of autistic children. Autistic infants will not cuddle, and they do not like to be picked up. The usual things that children do to imitate adults, such as waving goodbye, are not observed in autistic children. Instead, autistic children very often repeat such movements as flicking a hand, twisting an arm or leg, or banging the head over and over. Strange gestures and distorted facial expressions are common.Language develops slowly, if at all. Some autistic children remain totally silent, while others merely repeat words they hear or communicate by gestures. They have little or no interest in making friends. They smile rarely, if ever, and will avoid making eye contact. Unlike normal children, they tend to fixate on a single object or task, such as spinning the wheels on a toy car over and over.At one time autism was blamed on bad parenting. Now itis believed to be caused by abnormalities in the brain. Several possible causes of these abnormalities have been proposed: an illness the mother suffered during her pregnancy; too little oxygen at the time of birth; or possiblyan abnormal gene. In some cases, X rays have revealed abnormalities in the structure of the brain itself. There is no way to diagnose autism apart from observing the child's behavior closely over a period of time.Although some patient-tailored programs can help children function better, the life of these children is generally hard to predict. Some will remain severely impaired throughout their lives. A majority always will depend heavily on support from relatives and professional caregivers, and may require special living arrangements and close supervision. However, progressive changes in the treatment of these children have enabled about one in six to live independently and work productively. What’s more, the intelligence level of the child partly affects the ability to function.Section DDirections: Read the passage carefully. Then answer the questions or complete the statements in the fewest possible words. If you have been following the news you will know that the world’s population recently reached seven billion – probably on 31st October. The statistics concerning human population growth are astonishing. It was only 12 years ago, in 1999, that the world’s population reached six billion. In 1969 there were 3.5 billion people on the planet, which is to say our numbers have doubled in only 42 years. A century ago, in 1911, there were only 1.8 billion of us: 26% of today’s total. As for future population growth, it seems there will probably be eight billion people by 2030 and nine billion by around 2050. After that, predictions vary: many experts think the total will rise more slowly, perhaps reaching ten billion by the end of the century; but a few believe the fast rise might continue, leading to a global population of as many as 15 billion by 2100. There are big differences between rates of population growth around the world. The fastest rates are generally in the world’s poorer countries, including those in sub-Saharan Africa, while the populations of rich countries are mostly growing much more slowly, or even shrinking in a few cases. (Germany and Japan, for example, will have smaller populations in 2050 than they do now.) This fact explains another interesting statistic: in 1900 Europe contained around 25% of the world’s people, but in 2050 it will have less than 10%.There are many reasons for fast population growth, but the most significant include medical advances and generally improved standards of living in poor countries, which mean fewer deaths from diseases or from malnutrition. Indeed, average life expectancy across the world has risen 20 years since the 1950s, from 48 to 68, and the biggest rises have been in poor countries. Some people already talk of a crisis of overpopulation, expecting there to be wars over access to natural resources and warning that, because those resources are limited, it is impossible for seven billion people (let alone nine or ten) to have the kind of high-consumption lifestyles that people in the world’s richer countries currently enjoy. Others, however, believe the planet can accommodate another two or three billion humans without a social or environmental disaster. We can only hope the optimists will be proved right.(Note: Answer the questions or complete the statements in NO MORE THAN EIGHT WORDS)81. When was the world’s population half of what it is now?82. There seems to be a connection between a country’s rates of population and_________________________________________.83. What contributed to the fast population growth?84. Some people predicted that the conflict between _______________________ may lead towars.第II卷(共45分)I.Translation (20%)Directions: Translate the following sentences into English, using the words given in the brackets.1. 是到了我们为国家承担责任的时候了。

I am writing to tell you there are some unharmonious phenomena existing on our campus and I hope these problems can be solved. Some students often talk dirty in conversations . Besides, many students ignored the basic rule of walking right when they go upstairs or downstairs. What’s more, some students even fail to say hello when m eeting their teachers. All of these impolite behaviors have a bad effect on our mood and study, reflecting the fact that some students’ awareness of good manners need to be improved.Confronted with these problems, we should take effective measures to help those who behave improperly. For example, instructive lectures should be held on the regular basis, set some good examples for them to follow or praise them in public even if they make small improvements.Thank you for your consideration.Yours faithfully,Li Hua。

Ten-minute Break
Since the new term started, we have felt the pressure from our heavy tasks. As students of Senior Three, we have to study from morning till late evening. With great pressure, many of us grasp every minute to study, even the ten-minute break, which may lead to heavy mind burden.
But it is not wise to do things this way. After each lesson, we should take a break, which does good to our body, as well as our mind. We can take a short walk outside the classroom, stretch ourselves, or do some other things to get rid of tiredness.
I usually listen to some light music, chat with my friends outside the classroom, or breathe the fresh air, which can refresh my brain.
All in all, we should have a right attitude towards the pressure from our study and always keep a peace mind. Only in this way can we do our studying more efficiently.。
