Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming-up and Lead in
Show the picture about Disneyland and play a game"Words competition"to lead in today’s lesson. Just like this: Class, look at the picture, where is it? Yes, Disneyland. What do you know about it? Great, you all have much to say. So, who is the fastest? How about playing a game"Words competition"?OK, here we go. The first one, Alice please, Mickey Mouse (板书单词),great. And the second one? Ben, you are the fastest, Snow White (板书单词),good answer. What about the third one? Bobby please, pirate ship (板书单词),well done. Wow, you three are the fastest!

Step 2 Presentation
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks."Disneyland will bring you into a__world and make your dreams come true, whether travelling through space, visiting a pirate ship or meeting your favorite __tale or__cartoon character. As you wander around the__amusement park, you may see Snow White or Mickey Mouse in parade or on the street."

Listen again and find the common parts-the mark. (重音标记)Then sum up the pronunciation rule of word stress. Just like this: If you see the mark like this, it means the first syllable of the words should be stressed. If you see the mark near the first syllable, it means the first syllable is stressed. Then we should read it louder, a little higher and a little longer in time.
Step 3 Practice
Play a game"Read my lips"to practice words like"magical"(不发声),"Disney"(不发声)and"snow"(不发声).Read after the tape and then work in pairs to correct the pronunciation. Just like this: Now work with your desk mates. Read the passage for your desk mates and let them help you to correct your mistakes. Let’s get started. //Have you finished? Step 4 Production
Say:"My class, I like the Snow White best in Disneyland. I think she is so beautiful and so real. What about you? What about your group members? What do they like best about Disneyland? 4 students as a group to interview your group members about it. And then show your results. Here is the possible sentences-In our group, Lily likes the pirate ship best in Disneyland. She thinks it is interesting. Tony likes...Are you clear?". Play a game"Hot potato"to choose several representatives to come to the stage to show their results.
Step 5 Summary
Ask"Everybody, who can summarize what we have learned today?". Then students summarize and the teacher gives supplement timely. Students are encouraged to develop good pronunciation habits.
Step 6 Homework
Students are encouraged to find more possible words that are stressed on the first syllable. And tomorrow show the results.

答:语音是语言知识的重要组成部分之一,语音对英语语言学习有些重要作用。
关于如何改善学生的语音语调,我有以下看法:教授相关的语音知识。
在平时的教学过程中,教师应当多渗透语音知识,如:重音、停顿、连读等。
利用多媒体多听多模仿。
教师可以多播放教学相关的音频、视频等多媒体,鼓励学生进行跟读和模仿。
平时也可让学生听一些含有语音知识点的歌曲。
鼓励学生开口说和读。
在平时教学过程中,多多鼓励学生开口说和大声朗读,对学生的进步及时表扬,增强学生的信心。
以上是我对如何改善学生的语音语调的一些看法。
