【五】教学过程

Step 1: Revision

1. Let the students sing the song “Good Morning” and reivew the phrases “good morning”, “good afternoon”, “good evening”.

2. Play a game of “Simon says” using “Good morning”, “Good afternoon”, “Good evening”

Step 2: Presentation

1. Hold up a clock and say: It’s 2 o’clock in the afternoon.”

2. Hold up another clock and say “It’s time for class.”

3. Point to the student who’s saying “Good afternoon.”

4. Practice saying “Good afternoon” to different classmates.

5. Give individual students a small clock to hold for “Simon Says” with the time.

6. The one who holds the right clock can get a star.

Step 3: Reading

1. Present the new words: girl, how, are, you

2. Read the dialogue together and number it.

3. Play the recording and find out who says “Good morning”, “Good afternoon”, “Good evening”.

4. Listen again and find “Lady bird.”

5. Read together and individually

6. Practice the dialogue in pairs.
