Lily:Good afternoon, Im pleased to meet you, Ms. Victoria.

Victoria:The pleasure is mine, too, Lily. Please sit down.

Lily:Thank you.

Victoria:So Lily, can you start by telling me about your experience in PR?
Lily:Well, at the moment I’m working as a PR officer for a local trading company here in Taiwan.

Victoria:I see. So why do you want to switch to the same job here at Delta Express?

Lily:Well, the company I work for is very small, so there are no opportunities for advancement. I’m also interested in using my English-speaking skills in an international business environment.

Victoria:Okay, great. Having worked for your current company for five years, you might find huge differences working for a large, foreign company like us –can you deal with that change?

Lily:Oh yes. I respond well to change, and I take on new challenges readily. I also really want to work for Delta Express for the very reasons you mention, so I’m willing to take on any challenges that may arise.

Victoria:Lily, who do you think are our major competitors, and what are their advantages over us?
Lily:Supersonic and Guardian. Supersonic is a local company with major market share because they have been here for a long time, and thus have a great reputation and loyal clientèle. Guardian is a foreign company that has just started business in Asia, like Delta Express. However, Guardian has a better reputation than Delta Express. That’s why you need me: I believe my background in trade, and my excellent PR skills can create an effective campaign to show the industry that Delta Express is even better than Guardian.

Victoria:(Nodding). Well this all sounds very promising. We will speak again soon.

Lily:Thank you. I very much hope so.
