Section B 1a-1d&writing
一、教学内容
本单元是《英语(新目标)》九年级第7单元,教材以Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.为中心话题,围绕着谈论“家规和校规”展开,学习和运用“Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.”“Sixteen-year-olds should not be allowed to ....”和“Do you think…?”这三个主要句型来谈论青少年应该被允许和不被允许做的事情,并发表观点叙述理由以及学习情态动词should和be allowed to do sth.的用法。

本单元教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生就相关话题用简单的英语阐述观点并进行讨论,同时通过教师所设计的任务活动将所学知识运用到日常生活中。

Section B部分的活动设计侧重本单元目标语的进一步学习和运用。

1a的设计是让学生复习表示频度的副词;1b的活动是在对话中操练这些副词。

1c、1d、1e部分提供了听说写的综合练习来巩固目标语。

二、教学目标
1.知识目标:
1) 核心词汇及短语:get to class late, fail a test, take the test later, pass the test, agree, disagree, go over the lessons.,should be allowed to
2) 功能:谈论校规和家规,以及他们的观点。

3) 语言结构:should / shouldn’t be allowed to do sth.
4) 句型:①Do you ever…?Yes. I always /usually /often /sometimes…
/ No. I never…
②I think/don’t think Peter should be allowed ...because...
③I think/don’t think students should be allowed to go out…because
2.语言技能:
1) 听:能听懂本课学习活动中的问题,并能做出较得体的回答。

2) 说:能正确朗读本节课学习的对话和句型;
3) 写:能写出本节课学习的短语和使用句型表达自己的观点:3.情感目标:了解和反思自己的日常行为是否符合中学生日常行为规范。

三、重点难点
1.教学重点:
1)熟练掌握以下词汇:get to class late, fail a test, take the test later, pass the test, agree, disagree, go over the lessons.,should be allowed to
2) 句型:①Do you ever…?Yes. I always /usually /often /sometimes…
/ No. I never…
②I think/don’t think Peter should be allowed ...because...
③I think/don’t think students should be allowed to go out…because 2.教学难点:1) 对should / shouldn’t be allowed to do sth.的理解和运用。

3) 学习写作是重点也是难点。

四.教学过程
Step 1. Lead in
1.Review the words. The teacher gives some help. One student lead other students to read aloud the words. Check some s tudents’ pronunciation.
2. Play the movie, and the teacher ask questions: What is the short movie about? Show this saying: No rules, no games.
Step 2 Presentation
(重点短语及句型的学习:get to class late, fail a test, take the test later, pass the test, agree, disagree, go over the lessons.,should be allowed to.)
1.Show some pictures of rules and ask students to make sentences.
2. Review some adverbs of frequency, such as often,always,usually, sometimes, seldom, hardly ever, never.
Step 3 Listening
1.T: Peter had a really bad day yesterday!He got up late. At school, there was a big math test, could Peter get to school on time(准时)? What happened to him?
Ask students to listen to the tape and finish the task in 1c.
2.Play the tape again, ask students to finish the task in 1d.
3.Explain some of these sentences. Check the answers and repeat after the tape.
4.Underline the key phrases and sentences.
5.Ask students to finish Task 4. Choose.
Step 4 Discussion
1. T: Should Peter be allowed to take the test later ?
What is his father’s idea? Students have their ideas.
2.Show some examples: His father thinks ... the school has to have rules, but Peter should explain with his teacher.
I think Peter should be allowed …because…
Step 5.Writing
1.Have a discussion about Should students go out with friends on weekends?
2.Help some students finish the survey.
3. Ask some students to show the survey table. Show them on the PPT.
4.Give an example on the blackboard.
Step 6 Homework
1.Do the exercises on the exercise book.
2.Writing:Should students go out with friends on weekends?
