Step 1Lead in (Activity 1)
T: Do you like reading? Do you often use e­books to search for some information? Who can tell us their advantages?(组织学生分小组讨论)
Step 2Skip the passage and match the main ideas with the paragraphs. (Activity 2)
●Ask students to read the ideas and tell you what the passage is going to be about.
●Ask students to read the passage and match the ideas with the paragraphs.
●Ask students to compare answers with the other classmates' answers.
Step 3Intensive reading (Activities 3, 4)
引导学生细读短文,完成Activities 3, 4; 培养学生按照时间线索理清文章脉络的能力。

Step 4Read again and retell the passage
让学生再次读短文,根据Activity 3的表格,用自己的话复述短文。

(Ask the students to read the passage again. Retell the passage in his/her own words with the help of the table of Activity 3.)

Activity 7:本活动应结合Activities 5, 6来思考写作内容,安排好前后顺序,明确逻辑关系,完成短文写作。

Step 7Summary
让学生再次朗读短文,找出文中的重点短语、句子,识记并默写。
