一、教材分析
本课时是单元的最后一课时，主要内容是通过所设计的各种活动练习巩固十二各月份的表达及学会讲一个故事。

二、教学目标
1、通过所设计的各项活动加强学生掌握十二个月份。

2、学会讲一个故事。

三、教学重难点
本课时教学重点是十二个月份，难点是故事太长，学生不易掌握。

单词卡片、课件、光盘
五、教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1、Enjoy the English song,‘‘What’s your favourite season ?’’.
2、Ask and answer: （Show the course ware）How many seasons are there in a year? Which season do you like best ? Why ? How many months are there in a year ? What are they ? Step 2 Revise the twelve months
1、Spell the twelve months.
Ask the students to spell the months one by one .
2、Ask and answer : When is New Years Day？When is Teachers’ Day ？...etc.
3、Read the twelve months ,using the word card .
Step 3 Presentation
1、T :I like listening to the story . Do you like story ?
Ss : Yes ,we do .
T : Now let’s listening to the story .
2、Play the CD . The students only listen .
3、Answer the questions :Who has a summer vacation ? What will he do ?
Step 4 Learn the story
1、Play the CD again .The students listen and repeat .
2、Read the story after the teacher .
3、The students read the story freely .
4、THE Teacher writes the phrases on the blackboard : summer vacation plan , visit my grandparents , go to Grape Valley...etc .
5、Ask some students to translate the story .
6、Explain the sentence ：I forget.
Step 5 Group work
1、The students tell the story in group of four .
2、Ask three pairs of the students to act out the story .
Step 6 Consolidation
1、Read the phrases .
2、Read the story .
Step 7 Chant
Ask the students to chant the twelve months .
Step 8 Sing the song
Play the CD .The students sing the song ‘‘Twelve months’’. Step 9 Homework
1、Copy the phrases three times .
2、Ask the students to tell the story to their parents .。
