April Fool's Day is the first day of April. On this day, people play funny, harmless jokes or tricks on someone else. This is also a day when kids in America won't get in trouble for playing harmless jokes or tricks on their parents or teachers.
This day doesn't seem more different than any other day. People still go to school and work. But it's a great chance for the practical joker to play tricks on people who are least expecting it. A famous study was done in a school by a professor from a university. At the start of the school year, the teachers were given the names of five children. They were told that these five were the most excellent students in the class. But the fact was that these students were only average, and they were not the best students at all. Well, guess what?
