In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the field of elementary school student essay correction research. This interest stems from the recognition of the importance of providing constructive feedback to young learners in order to help them improve their writing skills. As such, I am submitting this research proposal to further explore the methods and effectiveness of essay correction in elementary school settings.
The primary goal of this research is to investigate the impact of different types of feedback on elementary school students' writing abilities. Specifically, I plan to compare the effects of corrective feedback, praise-based feedback, and a combination of both on students' writing performance.
