Step1: Step 1 Sing an English song about months.
What’s the date today?

1. Learn the months in a year
How many months are there in a year?
January, February, March, April, May, June, July
August, September, October, November, December
2. Review the numbers and find out the rules
ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen , fourteen…
twenty, thirty, forty, fifty…
3. Learn the ordinal numbers and find out the rule by themselves
first (1st), second (2nd), third (3rd), fourth (4th), fifth (5th)…
twenty-first (21st), twenty-second 22nd), twenty-third (23rd) twenty-fourth (24th) …
4. look at the dates in the calendar, ask the Ss to express the dates in English
5. talk about the date of the festivals

【学习目标】1、学习一年12月份的英文名称。

2、学习日期的表达方式。

3. 学习如何询问别人的生日。

【学习重点、难点】:1. 一年12月份的英文名称和日期的英文表达方式
2. 掌握句型: when is your/ his/ her/ Bob’s birthday ?来询问他人的生日。

【导学指导】:
一: 熟练掌握January,February,March,April, May, June,July,August,September, October, November, December, when, month
二: 学会句型: when is your/ his/ her/ Bob’s birthday ?及答句it’s on + 日期来询问他人的生日。

【知识点拨】一、12个月份的英文简写形式:一般是用月份单词的前三个字母来表示
如:Jan. Feb. Mar. Apr. May. Jun. Jul. Aug. Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec
二、在什么日期用介词on ,如:it’s on May 7th.
在某个月份用介词in ,如:in April / in Juanary .
三、辨析when和what time:两者都可以询问时间,但略有不同
1.当询问某年、某月或某日时,一般用when而不用what time:
例如:- when is your birthday? - on January 5th.
2. what time只用于询问具体的几点钟,when也可询问具体的几点钟
例如:-what time/ when do you get up? -I get up at six

基变序,有规律,一、二、三特殊记,末尾字母t,d,d,f 来把ve替(5和12),八减t,九去e,th要从四加起,ty变成tie,若是遇到几十几,只变个位就可以。
