·表示过去某个时刻正在进行的动作。

时间标志词：at that time/moment, at this time, yesterday, at+过去时间点（如：at nine, last night), when/while引导的时间状从，then等。

例句：I was sleeping at 8 am yesterday morning.昨天早上8点，我正在睡觉。

时间标志词：those days, that week, last winter等。

句型结构：
肯定句：主语＋was/were doing sth.
否定句：主语＋was/were+not+doing sth.
一般疑问句： Was/Were+主语＋doing sth?
回答： Yes,主语＋was/were. No,主语＋wasn't/weren't.
特殊疑问句：特疑词＋was/were+doing sth?
