一次难忘的旅行英语作文
An Unforgettable Trip.
I once had a trip that was just amazing and unforgettable. It was a journey to a small coastal town.
I remember the moment I decided to go there. I was just so tired of the daily routine, the same old buildings and the busy city life. I thought to myself, "I need to get away and see something new." So, I packed my bags
with a few clothes, my camera, and a big smile on my face.
When I arrived at the town, it was like stepping into a different world. The air smelled so fresh, with a hint of the sea. There were little
cottages painted in all kinds of bright colors, like they were taken right out of a fairy - tale book. The streets were narrow and cobbled, and as I walked along them, I could hear my footsteps echoing.
I found a small inn near the beach. The owner was this really friendly old lady. She welcomed me with open arms and showed me to my room. It was a simple room, but it had a big window that overlooked the ocean. I could see the waves crashing against the shore, and it was so calming.
The beach was the best part. I spent hours there every day. I would
walk along the shore, collecting seashells. Some of them were so beautiful, with intricate patterns and shiny surfaces. I even found a starfish once! I was like a little kid, running around and shouting with excitement.
There were also these cute little cafes along the beach. I would sit in one of them in the afternoon, sipping on a cup of coffee and eating a slice of freshly - baked pie. The coffee was strong and the pie was so sweet. I
would watch the people passing by, some were tourists like me, and others were local fishermen coming back from a day at sea.
One day, I decided to go on a boat ride. I got on this small fishing boat with a local fisherman. He told me stories about the town, about the big fish he had caught in the past, and about the secrets of the sea. As we sailed further out, the water got bluer and the sun was shining brightly on my face. I felt so free, like I could do anything.
At night, the town was just as beautiful. There were twinkling lights everywhere. I would walk along the beach again, this time with the moonlight guiding my way. The sound of the waves at night was different, it was more soothing. I would lie on the sand and look up at the stars. There were so many of them, and they seemed so close.
When it was time to leave, I was really sad. I didn't want to go back to my normal life. But I knew that this trip would always be in my heart.
It was like a little escape from reality, a time when I could be myself and enjoy the simple things in life. I promised myself that I would come back again one day, to relive those beautiful moments.。
