Everyone talks about the “five” senses. And it is true that we get our information about the outside world from them. Researchers tell us that the sense of sight gives us about 80% of what we know about the world outside; while the other senses bring us the other 20% of what is happening.
But there are many other senses we cannot live without. Though they
are little noticed, they are as important as the five senses. For example, there is a sense of balance which stops us from falling down. We also have senses of hunger, thirst and cold.
