俞敏洪：100个句子记完7000个托福单词（附100个句子）20多年前，我在进行托福教学的时候发现，大量同学在学习上存在三个问题：1、背单词很难;2、理解句子很难;3、阅读理解很难。
其实这三个问题是连在一起的：词汇量不够必然影响到理解句子，理解句子结构的能力不强必然影响到阅读理解，而阅读理解能力的解决必然来自对单词的理解和对句子结构的理解。
上述三个难题导致很多学生在学英语的时候失去热情，我就想起了我在高考的时候用的方法。
我高考考了三次，第一次英语只考了33分，第二次考了55分，第三次的时候英语考了90多分。
第三次为什么会有这样一个飞跃呢?完全是因为第三年我学英语的时候碰到的一件事情。
当年，我们的英语老师总结出了高考中他认为包含最重要词汇、句子结构、语法等的300个句子，对我们说：“同学们，这300个句子非常重要，你们在座的如果能把这300个句子背得滚瓜烂熟，那么英语分数就能提高。
”当时我把高中英语课本上40多篇英语课文全都背得滚瓜烂熟，但是英语分数还是提不上去，好的时候70多分，不好的时候60 多分。
那这300句会不会管用呢?我就想，死马当作活马医，试试再说，于是就开始背这300个句子。
背完10句之后，我就想随手把这些句子写出来。
但是我却发现，我对这些句子的理解并不够深刻，比如说句中出现的单复数、定冠词、介词、词组的用法等我其实并不理解。
这样把300句背下去，其实英语水平也不一定能提高多少。
所以当时我做了一个看似很笨的事情，就是按照自己的理解，把这300句的英文全部翻译成中文，然后再根据我自己翻译过来的中文，将之回译成英文。
