2.学会使用:问句“What color is this?”与答句“It's (red).”来进行交际。

【学习过程】
一、新知学习。
1.课文预习。
阅读课文,将自己不认识的单词写下来。

2.学习单词和句型。
(1)朗读词汇:many、color、red、yellow、blue、green、orange、brown、pink、purple。
(2)朗读句型:
①What color is this?

二、达标检测。
1.连词组句。

Getting ready
Refresh Ss’ memories on the target language from Units 9 through 11 by creating informal conversations.
Using the book
T: Now, listen to the tape.
Play the tape for number 1 and then pause.
T: Which picture is it?
Continue with the rest.
(2)Getting ready
1. Have Ss cut a piece of paper into nine squares.
2. On each square, Ss write one letter.
3. Call out the words in the activity: blue, bread, balloons, candles, cups, etc.
4. Ss hold up the corresponding letters.
5. Continue this activity reviewing the remaining words from Units 9 through 11. Using the book
Point to each picture.
T: What’s this?
Write each word from this activity on the board.
T: What letter is it? What sound is it?
While listening to the tape, draw lines to corresponding letters for each picture. Point to each picture in the boxes. Ask Ss to say the word.
Ss listen to the tape and circle the pictures that corresponding to the words stated on the tape.

T:OK.Let’s learn the new animals :polar bear,kangaroo and eagle.
Using the book
.Play the tape..Ss listen and find the corresponding photos on the page.
.Ss say the word as they touch the picture.
Do you know these flags? Look and match.

.Say each word of the animals on P60 Ss point to the corresponding picture and repeat after you.

2.通过“听一听,唱一唱”的任务型活动,复习动物单词及一些形容词。
1.通过任务型活动,复习有关家庭成员和动物的词汇及相关句型。
2.通过对话操练,进一步熟悉有关人物的对话。
针对家庭成员的图片或相片自如对话。
1.教师准备相关人物头饰。
2.教师、学生准备家庭成员的照片。
3.教师准备课件或录音机,磁带,投影仪。
4.教师准备教学评价用的小贴画或小红花。
一、Warming up&Revision热身、复习
1.Let's sing “Father and Mother”.
活动方式:全班活动。
学生边唱边做动作,让学生肢体得到彻底的放松,更好地进入学习状态。
2.Greetings.
通过互相问好复习日常交际用语。
二、Presentation呈现新课
1.Meet my family
通过介绍家庭成员,复习有关家庭成员的单词和句型。
让学生以组为单位,选派代表上台,将照片放在投影仪上,向全班同学介绍自己的家庭成员。

This is my mother.
This is my brother.
This is my sister.
This is me.
2.What's missing?
教师先将所有家庭成员的单词卡拿在手中,带同学们分别读一遍,然后藏起其中一张,让学生猜:

每小组有一次猜的机会,给猜对的小组奖励一面小红旗。
3.Look and tick.
(1)课件呈现Sarah家的全家福,老师示范介绍,然后请每个小组选派1-2名代表上讲台给大家作介绍。
用上句型:
This is Sarah's father.
This is Sarah's mother.
This is Sarah's brother.
This is Sarah's sister.
This is Sarah。
(2)课件呈现P34页图片,请学生看图完成作业。
(3)同桌活动:Find Sarah's family.
课件仍呈现Sarah的一家,同桌之间用下列句型进行对话操练。

三、Drills趣味练习
1.Let's chant in pairs.
活动方式:pair work,同桌之间进行。
(1)课件呈现一只肥胖的熊猫和一只灵巧的小鸟,并播放chant。
(2)老师带读Listen and chant部分中的内容,学生跟读。
(3)小组间竞赛表演Listen and chant.
2.完成P33“Match and read aloud”的练习。
先让学生进行连线活动,同桌互相检查,再一起大声朗读正确的句子。
注意is和has的用法。
四、Consolidation达标测试
连线找答案。

既复习了家庭成员单词,又操练了本课句型,可谓一举两得。
