学习过程：
step1 热身：用英语描述熊猫的特性
step2 呈现新知：Show a photo of a panda and a photo of an elephant on PPT and present:
This elephant weighs many times more than this panda.
Step3 1a. Compare facts about these two animals . Use the Language in the box to help you make sentences.
1. Discuss in pairs. Compare the panda and the elephant.
2. Make more sentences using the information in 1a.
Eg:The elephant is twice taller than the panda.
The elephant is 200 cm taller than the panda.
3. Have students write down their sentences on the Bb.
4. 总结倍数的表达：
A:“倍数+as+原级+as+…”表示“前者是后者的多少倍”
B:“倍数+比较级+than+…”表示“前者比后者..多少倍”
Step4: Listen and check the numbers you hear
1.听前:Read out the numbers as quickly as you can
2.听中: Pay more attention to the numbers
3.听后: Ask a student to read out his/her answers
Step5 : Listen again and complete the sentences in 1c.
1.听前:Read the sentences and guess the weight.
2.听中: 写每个单词的首字母
3.听后: Check the answers and read the tape scripts of 1c after the tape together.
Step6: Practice
